York's Thoughts: Zzz. XXLeon smiled brightly and held Alara closer to him, his strength a bit more since his small amount of adrenaline was pumping but he could easily be overpowered if she wanted to get away from the hug. "I love it!" He said happily, laughing to himself like a child. But at her next question though his laugh was cut off and a worried look crossed over his features.. "Um... It can hide, as long as it's in an egg.. But Alara." He bit his lip and slowly let go of the hug, tapping his fingers together slowly and guiltily for a moment as if he was worried about something. "Alara we can feel dragon's minds from miles away and read their thoughts and feelings.. My father controls and envelops Dragons; once it's hatched he'll know it's here." He exclaimed, smiling feebly as he continued to poke at his own fingers slowly.

Cynder came close the building wearing her best outdoor attire. She heard that this detective agency can help with cases like hers, and even if Oiche said to let it be she could not. She adjusted her hat as she walked up and rang the door bell. She just hoped that they could help her like the rumors said.

York's Thoughts: I wonder.. Can I punch sound? XXYork's eyes sparked awake, red sparks lighting up his iris's from the sudden wake up, the voice reaching his ears was forgotten for a moment and he was about to try punching it but he realized it was coming from outside the door.. That and he couldn't punch sound. Probably. He slowly sat up, his eyes groggy and his ears barely working in till the door bell rang again in his ears. 'Leon.. Can you get that?' He sent groggily, he had just woken so he didn't check his son's thoughts as he got up and opened his door slowly, looking into Alara's eyes for a moment. "Yes? The one at the door is what you wanted to tell me about right?" He said calmly, not really figuring out the whole subject.
xxxLeon bit his lip as he got his Father's thoughts, he sent a confirmation before closing the cylinder and setting it down beside a small wooden table beside the stairway before running down the stairs, taking two at a time like any child would before he got to the door and he leaped up to slide the door knob open before he landed and let it open slowly. "Hello!" He said in a singsong voice, his past worry gone like it never happened. Insanity & Adrenaline

~Alara Klickshi~------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------ ''not exactly...but i'll tell you later..'' she said relived as she ran to take the cylinder and ran down the stairs as she shoved it in a dress pocket of hers -Alara was relived and ran to the door to see the woman, she didn't know what to say, she just moved in and was quiet confused since she didn't know what to say to the woman.- ''Oh, hello there ma'am'' she said smiling

"Why hello to you too... My name is Cynder Hull and I am wondering if this is the detective agency run by Mrs. Klickshi, and Mr. Verano? I wish to speak to them." Cynder said being very lady like, and polite to the child and woman in front of her. She had a sweet smile and crossed her fingers with one another as she spoke.

York's Thoughts: Son, just calm your thought's the link will fade away soon. XXYork slowly got to his senses, realizing her words he held up his hand to halt her from speaking but instead she bolted off down the hall and he stood in his doorway for a moment, as the sound of her feet on the stairs reached his ears he found his voice; "What?" He asked himself incredulously before he stepped out of his room and made sure his jacket was buttoned, he patted his hair down a bit but he rand down the stairs all the same.
xxxLeon took a few steps back realizing that Alara was handling this, but as he looked up at Cynder his head started to ache again and he held it again before actually knowing that enough was enough- he sprinted back up the stairs and to an extent down the hall till he felt the woman's mind leave his, her link was hurting his head and he sat there for a moment cradling his head and trying to forget the experience.
xxxYork watched his son leave for a moment, spending a moment to connect his link to his son's and what he found astound him, he followed the thoughtline that was hurting his son, and cut it off quickly before he turned to the door and took the last few steps to make it there. His eyes lookinv over Alara's shoulder for a moment before he saw an aged version of the girl's thoughts he had severed, Cynder. He bit his lip for a moment before he let his hair hide his eyes. He had spent quite a while hiding his whereabouts from everyone in Tiamat, and she seemed close enough to the subject for someone to read her thoughts so in a moment he hid his own link once more so that no other Dragon could find it. "Hey there, i'd be Mr. Verano; what's ailing you?" He said kindly, twisting his voice a bit but he hoped that his appearance had changed just enough for her not to recognize him.. At least his thought's wouldn't give him away this time.

"Yes.... I was wondering if you can help me. I'm so happy to see that you were here, and not out." Cynder said as she stared at York for a moment. "Is that you York?" she asked realizing that he was running the agency with the woman. "Oh my-! It's been such a long time! Is this what your doing now?" she asked excited to see an old friend from Tiamat.

York's Thoughts: She's changed, I wonder if she regrets being changed like that.. XXYork noticed that Alara had gotten silent after a moment and he nodded to her kindly, wondering what had happened but an overall shyness could have been the main reason. He smiled softly before turning back to Cynder, his eyes still hidden he felt better as she spoke. He smiled kindly at her first statement, opening his mouth to speak but as she continued his eyes grew small beneath his bangs and his smile turned into a shamed grin for a moment before it went back to the smallest of smiles. "Yeah it's me, it's nice to meet you again Cynder," He said chuckling softly, at least he wouldn't need to hide his eyes the whole time now. He tilted his head slightly so that his orange slitted eyes were shown to the light again before he continued. "And yes this is what i'm doing now, you just met Alara- she's new here. Anyway, what's troubiling you Cynder?" He asked carefully, realizing that she had come there because an actual problem had arrived. For a moment though his eyes wandered over her, seeing the change in her appearance and he smiled softly- she had grown a lot.. Some of the dragon parts that Tiako had given her showing more evidently now and as his mind slowly tried to connect to her since it had been so long since it had met with another besides his Son; but it was cut off again once York finally felt the link begin to remake itself.
xxxLeon sat down quietly in the middle of the hall, his mind suddenly quiet again once more and he breathed a small breath to calm himself down before laying there, eventually he let himself fall backwards and lie down on the cold linoleum, a small smile coming to his lips now that the pain was gone. His thoughts wandered seemlessly into nothing, he didn't feel any links anymore so at the moment he remained peacefull with himself. Happy that everything was calming down and eventually began thinking about the egg, seemlessly listing off into a small dream about it.

"Ah yes... I'll put this bluntly York... I wish to find my parents and seek your help in this matter. It's been troubling me all of my life... I want to know why me and my brother were abandoned." Cynder said a tone of sadness starting to pool in her words. "I can't do this alone, and I need a professional... I can only do so much on my own." she said in conclusion.

York's Thoughts: I can't just leave them here right? XXYork listened intently as Cynder spoke, his ears twitching lightly at the end but he smiled softly once he had heard the entire story. "Okay then, I wouldn't mind helping an old friend. The case seems a bit troubling, but do you know anything that might help us in it? A last name, a home town, anything would help really." He was speaking kindly, taking an old protective tone of his once more. He hadn't used it much, only when Leon and his friends were in trouble but that hasn't been happening- not for a year so the tone was a bit foreighn to him again. He looked behind him for a moment, checking the upstairs and realizing that Constance was probably out on a solo case or out with friends concerned him slightly. He might need to ask Alara to help then... Leon, being alone otherwise would probably come as well. "I'll go with you, but do you mind company?" He asked sweetly, knowing that it had to be kind if she would say no. He needed to bring them along.
xxxLeon continued to dream about the little dragon egg, lying in the middle of the hall with no problem on his mind at all. He was smiling to himself slightly and as he heard the small footsteps of Alara's that were echoing up the stairs he looked upwards to see her go into her room, he watched it for a moment before he slowly rolled over so that he was on his stomach. He let his sleeves hang out in front of him as he rested his head on his hands and blew a piece of his hair out of his eyes before he whistled softly- a one year old child whistling was hard to find.. But he learned through his stolen memories, using his father's as a sort of guidebook in the last few months.

Cynder nodded that she did have information. "Back at the orphanage. The woman in charge was generous enough to send me a letter containing some information. A description of the woman, what little she said, and her maiden name." Cynder said as she handed him the letter with a broken seal. "Company? I do not mind, but who are thinking of bringing?" she asked wondering who was going to come.
