Nodding quietly to Xiu, Shun waited just a few more moments for Mitsu to catch up. "We should investigate the other islands. There was a door at famine too, remember?" he said quietly before stepping through that portal ((Exit))

Her eyes remained hollow, her body was solid and laying flat against the stone of the portal room, but her usual glowing eyes where empty sockets, small pockets of a black void. She clearly wasn't re-dead, she would be in far worse shape if she was. Instead she just simply lay there as if all intent to be connected to the world had ceased.
It was the closest she would get to sleeping, and probably likely she was passed out still. So she didn't get up to chase Invictus off to war, or explore another portal, let alone notice the island of Conquest and it's recent damage.
No, instead Sammy simply waited. For something, it didn't really matter what, to get her attention and keep her moving at that moment.

Siddie knelt on the floor beside Sammy, shivering a little with the shock of dissipation and reforming. This time, it hadn't been a single painful instant; no, it had been panic and pain and falling - and then awakening here, physically intact.
Sammy was resting. Not going anywhere. Siddie would stay and keep watch over her while she rested. That didn't mean she was being cowardly. She was just guarding Sammy.

Respawning was a b***h. It didn't hurt, Aurian reflected, it just felt really, really... weird. Like someone had liquified her shadow form, then suddenly popped it back to normal. She should be fine, her mind insisted, but her body refused to listen. It knew something bad had just happened and it wouldn't let go of the feeling. Could dread leave an aftertaste in the body? If so, this was it.
Aurian looked around. The sun didn't seem much lower than when she'd entered the temple. Had she reformed more quickly than normal? ... Score.
Since she was next to the portal, Aurian decided to just head off. The Hunters weren't getting into Conquest through that underground room. Maybe it was time to check they weren't trying the same in other locations...

Mitsu tried not to linger since things seemed like they were falling apart here. She was worried about Temes on the other isle and simply nodded to Shun when he stepped through the portal.

Thankfully she did not feel any pain, and as quick as that, Poke was reforming near the Conquest portal. Not that she enjoyed dissipating by any means. There was always a chance she wouldn't come back at all, but thankfully, she had.
She saw others respawn here, or come from the conquest room, and most of them exited through each of the portals. It seemed there was still fighting going on in other areas. She couldn't stand here and do nothing, she had to go help.
Looking at each of the portals, she choose the famine one, and jumped through it.

Argggg! He really hated that! Dissipating, no matter how quick it had been this time, was NOT something he enjoyed. He was getting really tired of dying!
Several deep breaths, the dragon gave a low growl, a terrible and feral growl. He was angry, furious, but perhaps unlike others, he felt no fury at the destruction of that room or whatever damage may have been done to the temple and island of conquest. No, he was far too suspicious to feel any sorrow for the conquest clan.
His rage was focused solely on the hunters, on the fact he had been forced to dissipate, on the thought that Tess--
Tess!
Frantically the dragon searched, turning one way then the other until he found her. Then a sigh of relief, she was there too, and apart from likely dissipating as well, she was unharmed.
The rush of relief gave way to the surge of anger. He wanted that hunter, he wanted to bite his face off! He had seen the portals in the room, the hunters must have gone to another island!
"I'm going after that hunter!"
Turning he leapt through the nearest portal, the portal to war.

When Tess opened her eyes, she was at the portal room. She regained her bearing in time to hear Sheridan growl about chasing after a Hunter. Before she could protest about the dangers, the dragon boil jumped into the portal.
"Don't leave me!" she cried and flew after him.

Aksaja woke up in the portal room back in his humanoid form. He blinked, seeing others running through the other portals. Apparently there were still hunters. With a low growl, the lightning dragon mantled wings and run for the War portal.

Oh jack, what is going on? Clyde wasn't sure but it seems everyone's running off towards War or Famine...Maybe he should head over to Famine since a lot of people are heading off to War. Famine it is and into the portal he went.

Adiyan did some wandering around the island exploring and finding things of different between here and home. But he was wanting to head for a different island and thought that famine sounded like a good one to go visit and not knowing what was happening around him.

There was a small spark, a flicker, a swirling sprite of light inside the hollow sockets. It started small zipping side to side before rolling in on its self and flaring up brighter till Sammy's eyes filled in. It was a slower process then usual. The world slowly flickering back into place as she focused the FEAR.
That was when she saw the grey, like the clouds during Giftmas, the trees and rat king, the grey like Red. Suddenly she was up in a crouch staring towards the portal. "Siddie....we have to go there. But promise me something...." She looked back at the other ghoul, "Do whatever I say, and if things get bad. Run."
She looked towards the portal again, "That grey.... that's not normal, not like that...." Slowly she started towards the portal, a bone hand reaching up to stroke the barrier that was barely more then water between her and the other side before stepping through...

"I promise I'll listen to you," Siddie said, rising to her feet. She brushed her skirts off and looked towards the portal, her mouth set in a firm, determined line. "I'm ready."
She stepped through to Famine after Sammy, vanishing through the ripple of the portal.
