"One like mine," Crystal asked softly. "Marth are you saying that I might be related to her, this Warrior Lyre?" She was scared now, she knew a few of the stories about her like how she had delt with two Mercenaries from the Mercenary Organization but that was it. She hadn't known about the war.

Marth looked up towards Crystal's face before saying "I don't know...All I know is the stories that were told. My farther told me that Lyre was a great warrior, and that she cared deeply for those that found a way into her heart." He wasn't sure what else to said, much of what he was told he believed to be just a few to many drinks but now after he meet Crystal he wasn't so sure.

Crystal nodded slowly. "I was abandoned as a newborn at an orphanage," she said softly. "I never even knew my mother or my father. They said that the woman that left me only stayed long enough to tell them my full name before she left." She could feel the tears again burning in her eyes and couldn't hold them back. They spilled over and streaked her cheeks.

Marth, seeing the tears, moved onto the cot and put his arms around Crystal and said "my farther didn't know the warrior Lyre personally." He didn't know what else to add or what else to said.

Crystal said nothing. "You know how strong I'm becoming don't you," she asked quietly. "I-I didn't mean to lose control back there but, blood does that to me. The stronger I get the worse it gets and there's no controling it. Maybe it's best if you stayed away from me if I get like that again."

Marth replied "you are getting stronger, but I refuse to believe that there isn't a way to control it. We just don't know what it is." He didn't address the last part that she said due to the fact that he couldn't leave her when she needs him the most.

Crystal tried to pull away from him. She didn't want him getting hurt. She felt one of her wounds open and cringed. 'Oh not again,' she though as she caught the scent of the blood.

Marth lossen his arms around her and saw a red spot seeking through one of the bandages. He knew what could happen, but he stayed right where he was and said "Crystal don't lose control...Hold on." What will I do should she lose control? I can not kill her, at the same time I can't run away either...This isn't going to be easy.

Crystal began to fight to get away. She was close to losing control and didn't want to hurt him. "Please, go," she begged. "I don't want to hurt you!" She was terrified.

Crystal was almost gone and didn't hear him. All she knew was that she didn't want to harm him and fled her tent. She stumbled a bit in the deep snow but kept going until she was out of the camp. She was lost by then and to her eyes the snow was tinged red.

Marth called after her as she rushed out, he went outside and called after her again. What should I do....I can't let her get herself killed. He stood there looking towards her foot prints. If I follow I might end up in her way, although I might be able to pull her back... He started off after her at a slow jog, after he grab his sword and picked up a bow and some arrows.

Crystal was sitting under a tree, her eyes glazed over and trained on the falling snow. To her eyes the snow looked red, the color of fresh blood. She was shivering with cold but didn't care at all.

As Marth got to the edge of the camp he called her name once more. He stood there for a moment longer, feeling the cold night air around him. I must fine her before she freezes. He continued to follow the footsteps, knowing that they would take him to her.
