Ennéa trudged along with the rest of the hunters only half listening to the conversations around her and the beeps of her FEAR scanner. She surveyed the flat white expanse ahead of them apprehensively, looking for anything out of the ordinary that wasn't snow, more snow, or ice.
She wasn't looking forward to tangling with a creature as large as what Dr. H described; especially not after fighting what she suspected was one of the creature's tentacles on a scouting mission. A mere tentacle had put up a good fight. And both she and Maddie working together had a hard time taking it down. The thought of fighting multiple tentacles, even with a group as large as this...
Ennéa quickly shook her head to clear her nervous thoughts. They could do it, she told herself firmly. And she wasn't going to break her promises this time. She chose to be a hunter. She wasn't going to run away.
She sighed and adjusted her pack and continued walking.

A few eyes, a few mouths, countless amounts of tentacle and it was probably the size of Rhode Island and it had the artifact and they needed to retrieve it? Did this dampen her spirits in the least? Nope.
It was still sunshine and rainbows in Molly-land.
A job was a job was a job, and it’d be done with a good attitude regardless. Besides, she was amidst all her fellow Hunters as she trudged along in the snow, and that was good enough for her. She quietly listened to the small chatter around her, as well as her FEAR scanner, looking around every now and then at the scenery to boot. Molly was humming a bit under her breath, eyes drifting back and forth from the FEAR scanner to the environment.
Wow these numbers were getting awfully big the more they moved...were they getting closer?

Sherry followed the along with the others, keeping one eye on her scanner. It was reassuring to be in a group, and to have a pack full of equipment. The FEAR scanner readings were less comforting. She wondered just how big this was going be...
Oh well. It didn't do to speculate. She would face whatever they were about to face with the others. Support and all that. Just have to stay vigilant. She knew not to expect anything, and to be ready for anything. Besides--
Sherry smiled. Armagnac was good at keeping her on task.

Syd followed silently, her attention on the area around them and the FEAR meter. She was taking this extremely seriously, especially considering that they hadn't defeated a boss monster at all--they'd slapped down a single tentacle.

Now de-peguinified (and thankfully with a full set of clothes and a pack), Jason was feeling rather ill, yet determined, to try and buy some time for Dr.H to steal the artifact. Although he was unsure if this plan was even going to work, he'd do whatever he was supposed to do. Now, he held up his scanner, trying to detect any trace of FEAR.

Bix wasn't very happy. He was freezing, his scarf wrapped tightly around his face, wearing borrowed clothes from Deus. They'd all dressed for the Sahara and then ended up in the opposite extreme. It didn't help that they'd lost Julie, that everyone was suffering from it in their own way. Every once in a while he wanted to punch Dr. H straight in the face. This was one of those days. Of course his dislike of the man extended back to his pod-trial, the slaughter in the Gym. He'd never forgotten it.
Bix trudged through the snow, not his jovial self, checking his FEAR meter every once in a while. The spikes became more frequent, the number rising at a gradual pace. Normally he'd be excited to fight something called a Titan, especially when they knew ahead of time what they'd be battling. But he was just sour. He didn't talk to his friends or even gravitate towards them. He didn't want to impose his poor mood on the others so he tried to stay focused on the task at hand.

Tori listened to what Dr. H was saying that they were going to get the artifact from creature the size of Rhode Island, but her interested had perked a little when he mentioned a Titan as she recalled to what they were and made a mental note to go look them up a little more if she got back to the island.
Picking up her own supplies as she followed shivering slightly in some borrowed clothing since she didn’t have any warm clothing of her own since they had come from the Sahara, but the only good thing here as there were no bugs around. She was keeping a slight distance from everyone since she really didn’t feel like talking and felt that they were being the bait once more. She had finally decided on what book if getting back to the island would be the encyclopedia and Aklin just sighed.
While walking Tori keep on looking at her fear scanner to see that she was getting more spikes and the number getting larger. Aklin was the one that was getting excited for a fight and she wasn’t too sure on the mater just yet as part of her wanted a fight to get back for what happened in the Sahara and the other part didn’t want to do anything but read. But she knew what she had to do when it come down to it and wasn’t going to disobey and doublely so that her own division leader was here with them.

Aleister shot Cass a grin. Despite not liking the fact they were going somewhere he had to try to keep his mind off of running like a chicken. He nodded, "Well m-maybe if we all stay positive something good'll come of all this."
He thought for a moment "We should all go get cake or something when we get back. All of us." He said with a nod. He was trying to keep from checking the fear meter since that'd only make him more worried. As it was he was trying to watch as many angles as he could.

Rep for a change was just doing as he was told. Walking. They had a huge ******** creature to stun and first they had to get to it. He was just patiently hauling a sled as a distraction from everything else, ignoring the fear scanners everyone else seemed to be checking out. He didn't want to know how ******** close they were to this thing. He'd never fought anything bigger than a yeti, so the idea of fighting something the size of a place was..hardly reassuring.
He could only be greatful he wasn't sure how big Rhode island actually was.

Molly glanced around at everyone once, and then slowed her pace until it matched that of a sour albino hunter. She seemed to pick up on the mood immediately, but that didn’t stop her from having a spring in her step, and she seemed like she was about to say something, but then she paused, and fell silent. She was in thought though, glancing at her FEAR scanner once more, and after a good few minutes passed, she looked up at Bix. “ Hopefully a blizzard doesn’t roll on through!” She informed him. “ Or I’d never find you!” Molly giggled a bit then. Because you know…Bix was an albino wearing a white coat and if it snowed he’d be stealth camouflaging.

Bix glanced over, not sure who it was at first, but his face seemed to lighten when he saw it was Molly. he wasn't sure how she did it, staying in such a good mood all the time. He was pretty good at it himself but to say that today was a bad day seemed to be an understatement. "I'm like a snow ninja." He laughed abit with her, not as hearty as he usually might. "Minus the ninja part. Plus the freezing to death part. Let's hope the monster doesn't take me out. You'll never find my body!" Unfortunately his attempts to go along with the joke went in a direction that may have been in bad taste. He honestly hadn't meant it to but but circumstances as they were, joking about dying may not have been the best thing. "How do you stay in such a good mood?" Bix asked her honestly.

Jerry scanned the crowd for familiar faces. He was not built for the cold. He wasn't built for much except perhaps "luke warm" but he kept trucking along with the others all the same.
Just think penguiny thoughts.
That didn't involve fish.
Nor being eaten.
Ok, never mind on the penguiny thoughts.
Where had Sasha gotten to?
His fear meter was going haywire. He wondered if it was broken. He hoped it was broken.

Izy was going through her memories of songs, playing them like a strange karaoke machine in her head. Syd was only grateful that he could sing them properly. And she would admit that it was a nice break from the crunching sound of boots in snow. Absently, almost under her breath she started singing along, more of the "singing with the radio" stage than anything else.
She was doing exactly what Jerry had done and Izy had gotten irritated with, she realized. She glanced around, flushing slightly to make sure no one had noticed--or was getting irritated with her for singing.

Still quiet, Sasha checked the reading on her Fear device. It was careening towards 700, blipping over 705 for just an instant. There was a sense of general unrest, and Sasha could only hope that this would all be over soon before too long.
