Roch jerked, hearing Danny yelling, and let out a sigh. Then he heard a loud, angry argument, followed by a cough that said to shuddup. Huh...

It was going to miss this when it returned to Amityville, possibly alone among all Conquest's many activities. This gentle, civilized tea was by far its favorite thing on this Isle. While it would return to Famine gladly... well...
It put down its cup a little too hard; the thing rang in its saucer, drawing disapproving looks. Malodore ducked its head, abashed. It seemed a master at being disruptive without meaning to!

Then again, at least the refilling teapot was wonderful. It really wished it could take one home with it! The plague doctor finished its tea with great care, then quietly sidled out of the pavilion.

Ice Queen Roch looked at the ghoul, cocking his head slightly as he thought of it. "Probably a spell," he said. "I'm thinkin' horsemen are a bit like reapers in some ways, they got their own weapons they can summon, I wouldn't be surprised if they were good at spells and charms. Well, actually, that one's pretty obvious," he admitted, "I just didn't think about it." "Roch Scythe," he introduced himself. "Knob Goblin, Amityville," he added, a bit belatedly. He reached over, taking one of the treats. Huh... sweet. "Ciel... uhh, no last name?" She blushed a little. "First rank, box devil." Her attention seemed mostly on Roch, not the snacks, as she spoke, though his waning focus sort of drew her to look at the food some as she spoke, "It wouldn't surprise me. I think a lot of this might be an illusion. Floating pavilions. Excessive ornamentation. Endless tea. It's too much to be... real. It's like they're hiding their face under a civilized facade. " Ciel's eyes narrowed a little as she glanced to the side, thinking, "It reminds me too much of home." An especially stern glare came from the attendant as Ceil said these things. Was it because she had been too loud or because she had been right?

He looked at her blankly. "It's real," he said bluntly. "Invictus--he's the heir to this place, he's like a thousand years old. When you got that much time to live and still look like a kid, you get a lot of fancy stuff created," he said simply. He grabbed another snack and tossed it into his mouth, ignoring the texture this time.

More arguing caught his ear and he glanced at the wall, frowning slightly. You'd think they were better controlled than that, Roch thought.

Israfel's only regret about the tea house?
The ponies didn't seem to want to have a tea party.

Israfel would regret not having a tea party with ponies. Getting up to leave, a clansman glared at him and his feet. A pause and the siren frowned. Shoes were very important here apparently. Huffing he went back to get his shoes, spying something glittering in one of them.

It was shiny, he wanted it. Simple siren thought process. Sadly, it just proved to be a rock which, after he chucked it out and slipped on his shoe, he bore no mind to it.
