Gwen giggled softly and stumbled slightly as Twill let her go but recovered her balance quickly. As he called to her over the music she nodded her head but still had no clue what to do. She started to mimick him, echoing his movements in her own graceful way. It took her a few moments to catch on to the fact that he was moving with the base beat of the song, then once she realized that she was doing better. Luckily for her the dancing made her forget about her drink, in so much as she wasn't chugging it now. She fell quiet as she tilted her head slightly to listen to the song, and follow its thudding beat.

Twil watched her begin to dance, a little awkwardly at first, trying to mimic him he realized, but she soon found her own rhythm and the grace that came from finding your own pace emerged.
"See, easy." he said leaning close enough to one of her ears so that she could hear him. He pulled back and smiled roguishly at her and took a sip of his drink as he lifted one paw in to the air to pound it to the beat. He also noticed that she wasn't trying to inhale her drink anymore and decided that another song or two on the floor wouldn't be a bad idea, you always got drunk quicker if you were just sitting still.

Gwen couldn't help but blush slight and giggle as he leaned in close. She inhaled his scent and felt his warm breath tickle the tufts of fur on his ears as he called out to her. As he moved back he did that smile again that made her heart turn sommersaults and made her heart beat faster. She watched as he raised a paw and saw the muscles flex and tense under the shimmer of lights and sounds....
.....' I wonder what it would be like to be alone with him.....' She froze for a moment as that alien thought came into her head and her eyes widened in shock. To mask her sudden lack of movement she took another healthy drought of her drink and tried to focus on the music letting it carry her away. Little did she realize that the combination of music and booze was contributing to her naughty thoughts.

Twil watched her pause rather suddenly and wondered if he was pushing her to hard. He leaned in close again as she started to move and asked, "Are you alright? Need to sit down?" He motioned towards the booths around the walls, that were mostly in the shadows. "It's okay if you do." He smirked teasingly. "Not everyone can keep up with me." he said.

Gwen couldn't believe her ears, it was an opening just what she had wanted....to be alone with him. Quickly she squashed that thought and took stock of herself. She was starting to feel somewhat dizzy. That was a good enough excuse for her she thought quickly as he smiled teasingly at her and made her heart stop again. Weakly she nodded her ascent to sitting down. She knew she was faking it a bit, but those shadowy booths looked so private and maybe if she was lucky he would kiss her. At that thought she did begin to feel dizzy as she looked to Twill unsure how to make it through the throng of swaying dancers to the secluded safety of the booths.

Twil slipped an arm around her at the nod and skillfully weaved his way through the throng to an empty booth. He got her seated on one side before grabbing a waitress and ordered himself another drink and a Sprite for Gwen. "Thought you might like something non-alcoholic. Help keep your stomach settled, as you look a little green and keep your head on straight." he said with a grin.
He seated himself across from her and stretched. "Was nice to get out on the dance floor though, stretch the old muscles and all." he said. "So how are you liking your first night of debauchery so far." he said with a grin.

Gwen started slightly as the warmth of Twils arm slipped around her and she forced herself to not read too much into it as she was guided gently but firmly to the booths. Her heart flipped as he got her sat down first, being such a gentleman. She gave him a wan smile as her breath shortened a bit and the room spun again. Tearing her gaze away she took a few deep even breaths as she closed her eyes and didn't notice the waitress coming by until he spoke.
Green!?! He thought she looked green! Oh how humiliating, wanting to hang her head in shame she swallowed hard and held his gaze, despite that smile that was doing worse things to her stomache than the alcohol.
"It's quite loverly" Gwen found herself sluring her words slighty as she spoke. " I'm glad that I'm with you Twil, you make everything better" She giggled at that and then somewhere inside her a voice screamed at her that she shouldn't have said that out loud. "Opps, I shouldn't have said that should I?" She put a paw up to cover her mouth and tried to look mortified but couldn't pull it off, she kept wanting to laugh.

He laughed. "I don't know about that. I think I have been known to make things worse. But only occasionally." he said. "Usually by misjudging someone and taking them to the completely wrong activities." he shrugged. "It happens."
He frowned slightly and looked her over. "Are you feeling alright?" he nodded as the waitress brought their new drinks. "Perhaps we better finish these off and then go get some air. Take a little walk down the strip see what's to be seen." he said with a nod.

She felt astounded at what he was saying about being the one who made things worse......she just couldn't believe it. " But your so wonderful I don't see how anyone could think ill of you. You've made my night!" She blurted out.
Then she slowly processed the rest of what he had to say as he looked her over- and she realized it wasn't sexual in any way but rather concern and she started to sober up a little.
" I....i (hic) I'm fine. I just......drank too fast (hic)" Saying that reminded her that she had something that might help her feel better so she began to almost chug her sprite as the room began to spin she slowed and offered him a sheepish look.

Twil laughed. "You don't know me very well. Everyone has an off night and sometimes you make bad choices what with the thrill, adventure, and alcohol." he smiled at her. "I'm glad you're having a good time though."
He finished his drink and waited for her to finish before getting up and offering her a paw. "Shall we?" he asked before leading her out and into the relatively cool air outside of the club.

Nodding to what he said the room spun more. Gwen put a paw to the table to steady herself. With a deep breath she opened her eyes again and saw that Twil had moved. As he offered his paw she began to slide from the booth and used his paw to steady her as she stood. Thankfully her stomach was beginning to settle and she was able to walk mostly straight as he lead her effortlessly through the club. As they stepped outside she sighed with pleasure. " Oh my thats nice, the (hic) cool air feels wonderful!"
She turned her attention to Twil once again. " I'm sorry, I didn't mean to get drunk, I jsut wanted to have fun and be the kind of girl that did this sort of thing to impress you. And I know I keep saying too much but thats the alcohol thats loosened my tongue and I know you know that too, so what I don't know is why I'm still talking,"
With a sigh she dropped her head and just felt like crying.

Twil chuckled. "I don't blame you. Almost everyone gets a little out of control the first time the gloves are off." he shook his head. "You don't have to do things to impress me other than be yourself. Everything you do after that is up to you, and whether or not you actually want to do them. I think it was a big step for you to be willing to come out of your comfort zone, and that's the important part."
He continued to walk down the street, keeping an arm around her until she sobered enough to stand and walk on her own. He stopped and sighed raising her head up when she looked about to cry. "It's alright. Just take deep breaths. Everything will be fine." he smiled a bit. "I'd give you a stirring speech about individuality and all that, but you probably won't remember more than a bit in the morning when you wake up. Just know I like you fine, and am proud that you took the first step into a wider world."

At first his words fell on deaf ears as they walked along, her staggering every now and again and being caught by Twill. But as the silenced deepened and he spoke again, making her look at him, she listened. She could tell he was being genuine- or at least, tell as much as any half drunk good girl noodle could anyways. But his last words hit her hard, " Just know I like you fine, and am proud." That made the butterfly's in her stomach go triple time fluttering about. She could feel the hysterical giggles rising and this time was able to hold them back. It meant a great deal to her that he'd said he liked her, she knew she might be stretching what his word "like" could mean, but only time would tell on that front. But him being proud of her, that was another thing all together.
She did as he instructed and took several deep breaths, the night air cleansing her head a bit more. " H....how long does this foggy feeling last? Will I be back to normal soon- O,or should I just head home and sleep? Not that I want to leave you, but I just...." Her voice was a bit meek as she spoke,and trailed off at the end as words failed her.

Twil chuckled and shrugged. "Depends on how fast your body tends to such things. You do have no frame of reference though..." he paused to consider and glanced down at her. "Could be a few hours, which at that rate it would be almost morning anyway." he shrugged. "I know you don't want to go home, but I leave it entirely up to you whether or not I should escort you home. You're not really steady enough for anymore physical activity at the moment." He found a bench and sat down with her.
"It's always disconerning the first time...myself I prefer tipsy to drunk. Tipsy you still have control of you're faculties and feel tingly...drunk you just make a fool of yourself normally. Which is why it's always good to have company in that case." he flicked his tail absently and watched people walk by.

Gwen sighed and swayed as she found her balance on the bench. She didn't like hearing that it could take hours....her alcohol soaked brain fought to find a way to salvage the night, not even knowing if that was possible. "I, I don't want my dad to see me like this, not yet anyways, he'd go medieval on my tail!" She chuckled dumbly at her own pun that Twil wouldn't understand anyways.
"Tipsy huh.....tipsy, I like that word, it sorta jumps off the tongue. And that state sounds much better than where I am....well except for the being with you part, thats been alot of fun...and......" The butterflies picked up warning her that she was starting to babble and she stopped and took a few more deep breaths and tried to sound like her old prim and proper self. "I'm sorry, I guess I got in over my head.....And I do hope I'm not making too much a fool of myself.....the company is quite enjoyable though." Slowly her head was starting to steady itself, the deep breathing seemed to help her keep better control.
