Why couldn't people just leave him alone with his cool items? He liked this rock and it was his. He didn't know why she couldn't just deal with this. It was his, he'd found it, he'd earned it. He was the victor.
Only when Candace stopped to point at Molly did he actually stop running away to stare at the other hunter. Was that her phone she was holding? Was she filming?
He started waving his flippers in a "no no, cut it out" sort of gesture.

Molly looked back and forth between the cowering penguin and the penguin with the boots.
Her brows furrowed as she seemed deep in thought, and then the answer came to her as it started to point. Ooooh! Molly nodded her head vigorously now. “I got it! You want your precious back!” It all made sense in the world now. A gloved hand came out to rest near Rep’s beak. “Okay little one, if the rock isn’t yours, then you need to give it back, alright?” Why was she trying to negotiate with a penguin? Because she was Molly.
She looked over at the Syd penguin then. “…Uhhh…” She had no clue.

Penguin Rep scuffed the snow with a foot looking sheepish at Molly's comment.
But it was his. It was his rock. He'd totally earned it by penguin cunning. He shook her head at her and made an indignant little sound of objection.
Still. If she reached out for it, he didn't have the heart to peck her for it and would just hand it over.

"Wark wark!" Syd penguin said, trying to explain her fishy dilemma as well as she could. She laid down on her belly and did a few scoots, trying to look like a fish. Then she looked at Molly again, expectantly.

Yes, Molly! Yes! That was exactly it! Oh, you smart thing you she is so proud to be in the same division as this sweetheart. Candace puffed her chest out and squawked, watching the girl hold a hand out and demand the rock back. She squawked happily when Rep gave in, returning the rock to Molly's waiting hand.  Candace was the happiest penguin.

 Darn skippy. She was good at this. “ Hey, how about we go find you your own rock, hmm?” She offered happily to the Rep penguin. Still, she did persist, and was relieved when he did hand it over. She clutched the stone in her hand, and pocketed her phone. With her free hand, she reached out to give the Rep penguin an affectionate pat on the head. “ That’s a good penguin! You did the right thing. We’ll go find a rock for you now, okay?” She held the stone back out to the penguin with the boots, and then looked back at the Syd penguin. “… I’m really sorry! I have no idea what you want!” She was dismayed at this.

Chirping and trilling with joy, Candace accepted the rock with her beak and held it. She had her marriage rock back! Yay! She could continue being married to Jerry and...
...She..she felt funny..
Her weapon was unsummoned as the penguin's flippers crossed to press against her tummy and the penguin swayed. She didn't feel good at all...it was like she was going to explode! And not in a good way!
Well, she didn't explode. But one moment there was a penguin looking ready to throw up and the next moment there was a very naked Candace Pennington sitting in the snow. She looked confused at first, the rock felling on her lap as she kind of just stared at the other penguins.
Oh.
My.
God.
Ohmygodshe'snakedinthesnowohgodinthemiddleofthecampEVERYONECANSEEHERFUUUUUUCK! "C..cold! ********> She covered as much of her as she could, but she only had two arms with which to do so.

Rep was appeased, and even as he handed over the rock he felt as if he'd somehow won the argument. Fluffing his feathers as he was patted.
And then he blinked and remembered they were penguins. And probably could do with help. There was like.. a mission thing and stuff.. right?
It didn't seem as urgent as the need for fish.
Movement nearby made him look around and he just froze. And stared. Oh good god.

"Wa--" And mid complaint, the penguin jerked and changed. A naked as the day she was born (and close to as flat chested) Syd was on her knees in the middle of the snow, her mouth opened incredulously. For a second nothing happened by a cold wind freezing her to the core. Then she flushed, reached up to make sure her choker was on, and got to her feet.
"Excuse me," she said through chattering teeth as she wrapped her arms around herself and walked away.

“Eh…ehehe….” Molly laughed nervously at that look penguin Syd was giving her, and then promptly turned her attention back to Rep penguin. Finding him a rock, right!
But then the penguin with the boots started to sway, and the boots disappeared. “…Uh oh, are you al—“ Then the penguin turned into Miss Candace. A very nude Miss Candace. “AIIIIEEE!” Molly couldn’t help but jump back at first, startled. “Miss Candace!?” She cried. “How did you turn into a penguin!?” Oh wait. She was nude. Molly immediately undid the clasps of her coat, and pulled it off, wasting no time and wrapping it around the young woman tightly.
Questions later man, questions later.

There were suddenly... more big monkey things. Jerry penguin merely tilted his head in confusion.
Well... ONE Of them would have a fish, right? He hopped off of his perch, proudly waddling up to Molly with a very particular WARK before nibbling at the end of her coat.
They seemed to like it when he did things like this. Last time he did, the human he vaguely remembered as being titled Maddie had picked him up and given him cuddles.
It was difficult to quack with his glasses in his beak, but somehow in his gizzard he knew he didn't want to lose them.

Questions later! Coat please! PLEASE! Candace was trembling, the snow below her freezing cold despite the barrier keeping the air to a tolerable coolness and protecting them from the natural elements. As the coat was offered to her Candace quickly accepted it and slipped her arms into the sleeves, huddling into the coat and standing. Her teeth chattered as she hopped from one foot to the other, the snow so cold it felt like it was burning against her skin. "L-luh-le-Life la-ab ban-anda-aid tessssssting." She managed to get out, pointing down at the other four penguins.
"J-JerryandRepandSydandsomeoneelsenoclothesneedclothesohgodcoldcold..!" She bounced, whining a little. Candace hated the cold. "B-br-bring fish?" Her foot landed on the rock Jerry had given her and she yelped, looking down at what she had stepped on. Oh...their rock. She bent down to pick it up, grasping it tightly in one fist.

Oh, another penguin came up to her! This one seemed rather friendly and wasn’t flapping its flippers at her, so Molly bent a bit and gave the Jerry penguin an affectionate pat on the head until Candace spoke up.
“…Ooooooh.” It all made sense now. “So…all of these penguins are…” Her brows furrowed. “Fish…? Oh! Fish, I see!” That’s what Syd had wanted…but now she was gone. “O…oh dear, um, Miss Candace, how about I carry you into a nearby tent, alright?” Molly turned around and knelt on one knee in the snow, indicating that Candace should get on for a piggyback ride.

OMG OMG she said the word, the whole conversation went WAH WAH WAH WAH FISH WAH WAH WAH Fish but Jerry was sold, fluttering to try to hop onto the back that was not offered to him.
