"I really do," Mitsu nodded. With hearing she often heard people approach long before she ever saw them. Closed spaces and open spaces all had a different feel by the way sound bounced around. It was subtle things but she was certain that Shun could get a handle on it and be able to adjust.
The sudden thank you seemed a little out of place, Mitsu looked to her apple tart for a moment picking it up to examine it closer. "I..haven't done anything yet to warrant a thank you." She said softly. "And we still need to work on your swimming." Just one more thing to add to the list.

Shun furrowed his brow at the mention of swimming. He felt that one was a bit of a lost cause.
"I think you will have better luck with training on honing my hearing than teaching me to swim," he said while running a hand through his hair, "But.. you're wrong if you think you don't deserve a thank you.."

"It doesn't help if you've already given up on the idea before I've tried to show you." Mitsu pouted with disapproval. She knew teaching him to swim would be no easy feat and swimming might not even be an option. Mitsu was mainly hoping to teach him how to stay afloat long enough to either get to safety or for someone to come help. It was a better alternative to drowning.
Placing the tart back down Mitsu picked up her cup of tea and finished off what she had before pouring herself another cup. "I just wish there was more I could do." Her hands were tied to a certain extent. As much as she wanted to help she would only be able to do so much and nothing could change what had been done.

Glancing down at his own half-eaten tart for the moment, Shun soon let out a sigh.
"You've done much more than you realized," he said quietly. Very quietly. She was always rather hard on herself when it came to helping him, but as far as he was concerned, she had already done much. He wished she could see it too.

"It just...never seems to be enough," Mitsu replied just as softly.
The apple tart had gone uneaten and Mitsu asked for a small to go box to put it in so that it would be easier to carry with little worry that she would drop it. The box was then placed in her messenger bag and she sat continuing to sip at the tea they still had at the table. At least it calmed her stomach some.

"It may not seem that way.. but please realize that you have done a great deal for me thus far. If.. anything I feel like I hadn't done nearly enough for you.." Shun replied before finishing up his tea and tart in the meantime.
Since they were just about done here, he went ahead to get some of his seeds out so he could pay for the tea and dessert.

"You've helped me a great deal as well," Mitsu said in return. She had come a long way since she had first come here. Once she would have been too frightened to socialize and now she managed it fairly well. She still wasn't the most social person but she was much more outgoing than before. He had helped her along that path as well as helping her grow stronger not just physically but mentally. That was more than she could repay.
Once the tea and desserts were paid for Mitsu rose from her chair and gathered her bag. "Are you ready to head back and relax a little?" They only had a couple of days of break before they would be off for another week. It would be good to rest up while they could and soak up being together since Mitsu was going to have to deal with being parted from Shun for another week.

Nodding quietly, Shun got on up from his seat once the food had been paid for. While this outing was nice, he was looking forward to relaxing with her as well. He really wanted to try and spend as much time with her as possible before they had to part again.
Up on his feet again, he gently took Mitsu's hand so that they could walk together back to the school.
"Relaxing sounds very nice," he finally said after a short silence.

The fact that Shun had reached out and taken her hand made Mitsu smile softly. Looking down at their joined hands shortly she gave his a little squeeze before nodding. "It does. I want to spend as much time with you as I can before we have to leave again."
----
They had just managed to leave the shop and put some distance between them and the tea house before a voice rang out toward them or more specifically to Shun.
"Well if it isn't the boil wonder." Titus grinned from ear to ear apparently pleased with himself, the fluff of the foxfire he was currently looking after tucked under his arm. He strolled toward the two towering over each easily. The foxfire looked rather excitedly at the new comers, panting and trying to run toward them even if it was suspended in the air. "And who is this, your pet?" Titus had seen the ghoul before but now his thoughts that they might have been friends was transcending into something more. Shun didn't strike him as a hand holder.

Shun's eye immediately narrowed as he heard a rather unpleasantly familiar voice. His hand casually slipped away from Mitsu's and he went on and placed them into his pockets.
"And if it isn't the resident piece of s**t," he said flatly while dismissing his question regarding the wolf girl.
"I don't have time to deal with the likes of you so why don't you go run along?" he asked coldly.

Mitsu looked back when she heard the voice only to frown deeply when Shun pulled his hand free from hers. She gazed as her empty hand for a moment, regarding it almost sadly before she gripped the strap of her messenger bag instead. This was the boil Shun didn't care for and it seemed for good reason.
Knowing that it was often best to just ignore bullies, Mitsu tugged against Shun's sleeve. "Maybe we should keep walking." She suggested.
--
The grin on Titus's face only grew wider, "My s**t status is nothing compared to yours." The demon chuckled. "I'll be amused to know what your father finally decides and what he will do with you after." Titus' conversation was vague because of the ghoul present. He had no idea she had actually been apart of it all.

Shun had no intention to reveal who else had been involved with the mission. He kept his gaze sharply onto the demon, only shooting Mitsu a brief glance when she tugged at his sleeve.
"That'll be interesting for sure I guess. But really, the only shithead here is you," he said before turning to see if he could continue on his way. He could tell that the girl was not really comfortable here and he would rather limit her exposure to Titus as much as possible.

Mitsu wanted desperately to hold Shun's hand at the moment but his were tucked into his jacket. Settling for gripping his sleeve instead Mitsu tried to keep her gaze toward their destination, the school, instead of Titus.
----
Titus hadn't heard anything about the eye injury, and while the loss of an eye was no doubt troublesome, his sympathies did not extend to the reaper. "And look at you now. You're like a cyclops with the one eye. Have to say that rag tag eye patch you got going on is very pirate. It's a good look." The demon gave a mock thumbs up though his other hand was busy keeping the struggling foxfire at bay.
---
The comment about the eye injury made Mitsu freeze, her body tensing and her face scrunching up as she battled against being upset. She didn't turn but it was probably easy to judge that Titus' words were going to bother her more than Shun.

"If you're hoping the lack of an eye will mean you can beat me easily in battle, you've got something else coming. But you were always a fool," he said rather nonchalantly while he had his back turned towards the demon. Shun didn't show it, but the thing he had brought up regarding his father did concern him. That reminded him of something.. but he wasn't going to tell Mitsu while they were in the presence of the nightmare demon.
"I'm surprised you aren't in the exchange program, but I guess the Trials was too much for you to handle as is," he added dismissively while walking on his way.

"If you think you'll be so lucky again," Titus smirked. "It's a shame about ponyville though, the old man wanted me to look into them a bit more but then I got landed with this...thing." He held up the foxfire then which wiggled and whined hoping for attention. "Oh well, I'm sure I'm not missing much."
Since Titus wasn't getting much out of Shun the demon decided to focus his attentions on the little lady. Ghouls were always more susceptible to teasing and tormenting. "So what do you say, Powderpuff? What do you think of the Soul Herder's new look?" Titus only had a take a few strides to keep up with them. His legs were so much longer. "Maybe I should just call you Cyclopes now. It seems so much more fitting."
---
Mitsu's face creased in a pained expression before she paused but did not turn back. "Please go away." Was all she managed to utter. Her voice was being forced into a state of calm, her fingers held tightly in a fist.
