"This situation isn't so black and white." Yuuka said to Ibara, trying to ignore Yochi's comment about herself. "There's no reason for you to waste your life needlessly."
She gripped Ibara's arm tightly, digging her fingernails in. "How dare you insist that you decide whom I may or may not die for? What gives you the right to assume such power?" This manner of speaking was quite unusual for Yuuka; it was easy to tell she was upset. "Who do you think you are, the god damned Yama?!" With her free hand, Yuuka slapped Ibara across her cheek. "Wake up! Are you willing to render everything your friends have done for you pointless? Don't you care about us?!"
Yuuka caught herself, resting both her hands on Ibara's shoulders, her head hung low. "...You're so selfish... Do you not care what your friends feel, do you not care about the people who care about you?"

"Things are black and white, you are either the hero or the monster, its as simple as that." Ibara said soberly.
Yuuka's nails dug into her arm, but the oni remained unaffected."I am not nearly as honorable as the Yama." Then then she got smacked, Hinarasu blinked at this, though she kept her own emotions in check, letting Yuuka wail on her with her words. The oni remained collected, looking at the flower youkai as she put both hands on her shoulder. Seeig as how she ushered down, it was her turn to speak.
"I am no one like the yama, I am no one like you or Yochi or Byakuren or Keine. All of you have made correct decisions once, twice or more. I have made mistake after mistake, going from one hiding spot to another, escaping my own problems. I care I definatly do. If I didn't I would let you all die for me. But that would not be the right thing to do, not for someone like me."
"Specially if this turns into a suicidal mission, that would just be awful."

"If you really cared, you would get off your high horse and let us help you." Yuuka looked up to Ibara, her eyes glaring at the Oni she held onto. "Do you think you're special? That you're the only one who makes mistakes? Don't make me laugh. What you've done is nothing. Nothing. So you managed to kill one measly Oni - big deal. To someone like me, what you've done in comparison is pathetic, not even worth a mark on your record. You'd be laughed out of the Yama's court!"
Tears could be seen forming in the Gardener's eyes, dispite her angered disposition. "We've all made mistakes. You are no different. But...we can change." she said, resounding Ibara's words from earlier. "Yes, people, Youkai, we all can change, you're right about that... And from my point of view, you have changed, too. You fight to keep your power in check constantly. Few other Youkai can lay claim to such honor." She slowly let go of Ibara, letting her arms fall to her sides and relaxing her stance. "I won't let you fight these demons alone. I won't let you pretend that you're not worth fighting for. Because in my eyes, you are."

"Wait Yama's laugh~?" Yochi snickered, enjoyin the heart warming moment or whatever it was meant to be.
Ibara saw this was not going anywhere, and she could not stand to see Yuuka in a bad state over her stupid words. With a sigh she said,"Fine. I will get some help. No doubt she will want some help. Maybe Ke-"
The oni seemed to have hit a spot. "Ah! I go an idea!" She ran to put her boots on, tieing them while she was standing,"If she wants a fight she will get one! But it will be under my terms! That drunk b*****d will not even know what hit her!" She seemed to be sparked again. Maybe the idea of getting this all over with was very refreshig. She dashed out,"You will see soon, Bye! Maybe Keine is still up-!" With that, Hinarasu was gone.
"....." Silence "HEY! She left me here!"
Sitting in a dejected matter where she had flopped down, without glasses or shovel, and with a short stature and closed-blind eyes,...Yochi really looked more like a child. The beating she had received seemed to have knocked her senses off, and now that the adrenaline had faded away it all came crashing down."Seriously, if this was some game," She muttered,"Ibara is the final boss, you," she senselessly pointed at Yuuka,"Are the mid stage final boss, and I am the damn minion that always gets the worst stomping because the hero never gets past me!"
"Well," Yochi crossed her arms,"I QUIT!"

"Good. Now that that's taken care of--wait, where are you going?" She watched as Ibara put her boots on. "Ibara! What is the meaning of this?" Yuuka called out to the fleeing Oni, slightly dumbfounded at the sudden turnaround in her mood.
"....."
Yuuka turned to look down at Yochi complain, forgetting she still had company. She looked to the door, then to Yochi, then the door again. "I guess you're staying with me tonight...wait, game? What are you talking about? And why am I only a mid-boss? I'm at least a stage boss or better!" Sighing, she closed the door, turned and walked past Yochi. "I'm going to bed. There's a spare bedroom on the first floor here, if you're interested." Yuuka took the bento box, intending to eat it before she slept, being quite hungry now.

"A what? What are you talking about?" the disoriented mole said, tilting her head towards Yuuka's voice. "A bedroom..?"
"I can't find my way-" Yochi faced trying to hear something,"meepmeepmeep-"

Yuuka sighed, and picked up the Mole youkai by the back of her shirt, holding her at arms length and with one hand. "I suppose I have no choice..." She carried Yochi through a series of doors (not that she would notice), eventually leading to a somewhat large room with a bed, a small table and two chairs, dresser and other furniture.
"There," she said, dropping setting the dazed Youkai back onto the ground. "The bed is in front of you...But I'm not tucking you in."

"I don't have wings-" Yochi responded,"I don't want to hurt my already awful eyesight-"
She felt herself be picked up, she flailed for a second before just hanging there. Allowing Yuuka to carry her in such a degrading manner, she didn't speak, simply finding this to be too much like when an adult finds a puppy the child wants to keep. The adult would just put the puppy somewhere out of sight until the kid forgot abou them.
Eventually she had the ground placed under her, the mole sat there facing up to Yuuka, still looking like a harmless kid (with how dazed she was she was probably harmless anyway.) "Infront of-?" She turned to the direction she had been sat down.
Gingerly leaning onto all four, She crawled over trying to find the bed. Oh she found it alright, but with her face. The mole crashed into the bedpost, falling back onto her butt rubbing at her fac,"Ouououou-"

"Oh, for Dragon's sake..." Setting the bento box on the dresser, Yuuka picked Yochi up with both hands, gently setting the mole Youkai onto the bed. "I don't recall ever seeing someone so helpless before. Now, I trust you'll be able to find the covers you're sitting on? ...Nevermind. I don't want anymore disturbances this night."
She pulled the covers out from under Yochi and layed them out over her. With a single arc, she cought a bubble of air under the covers to let them down gently over the helpless Youkai as the air dispersed. "Try to get some sleep...you've taken quite a beating today. I'll decide what to do with you in the morning... " Yuuka commented, pulling the covers up to Yochi's shoulders.
Night had long since fallen, with the only light emenating from a series of candles placed about the room and house. Yuuka blew out the flame nearest to Yochi on the nightstand beside her, hoping to lessen the strain on the mole's eyes.

Once again lifted Yochi gave the slighest move before being set down and tucked,now blushing furiously at her own uselessness."I-Inammnot helpless- A-all the time-"

"Yes...Goodnight, Yochi." Yuuka patted the Youkai's shoulder before turning to grab the bento box from the dresser. "Rest, and recover your strength... Miss Hinarasu may call upon her friends soon." She left the room, snuffing out the remaining candles along the way and shutting the door firmly, knowing the darkness would comfort the Mole Youkai. "For her sake, I hope she does..."

Yochi nodded sligthly to Yuuka, "Right."
Once the light was all gone Yochi dared to open her eyes. Staring up at the ceiling she heard Yuuka close the door and then put out every candle on her way to her own room. In the dark she felt a bit safer,'and thinking of this and that, the mole found herself surprised at her host's hospitality. Perhaps she wasn't all threats as she had thought, and Ibara had been been right.
Yuuka wasn't that bad.
Now remembering her broken state Yochi, sighed closing her eyes and hoping to get sleep soon if not right away.

Yuuka ate her meal in silence in the kitchen of her mansion. Once finished, she climbed to the second floor to wash away the day's grime and stench of rainwater by way of a hot bath, and finally to her own bedroom, snuffing out the last of the candles as she went. The room was quite large, with an equally large bed at the end of the room. To the side was a large window, allowing an adequate view of her garden below. There, perched on a table in front of the window and bathed in moonlight was her tea kettle and cup, filled with what was undoubtedly cold tea. She sighed and decided to ignore it, and instead snuck under the warm, soft covers of her own bed and let her head sink into the equally soft pillow. Pushing her thoughts and worry out of her head, Yuuka was soon fast asleep, and was so until the morning's first light...

In the morning the sun hit Yochi in the face. The mole sat up, keeping her eyes closed, but she felt much more oriented than last night. She hesitantly got up, stretching away the soreness of her muscles.
She thanked the youkai blood, since she was repaired to a much larger extent than any human. The mole got up and stumbled to close the blinds/curtains. And once that was done, she opened her eyes. Looking at the room that had been her shelter for the night, truly impressed by this (cave life was not impressive at all.) "Mh," She went to make the bed, very efficiently mind you. Now that she was used to a dim light, she turned to walk out of the room, curiously and rudely.
The hallway was large with doors lined, doors she had not seen the past night. Yochi looked up and down, tuning to her ears trying to listen to see if Yuuka was up.

Yuuka Kazami was indeed awake, having been roused by the sun peaking over the fields and through the large glass window framing her bedroom. She closed the curtains, ensuring to keep out what prying eyes might be present, and began her morning routine.
Once refreshed and properly dressed and presentable, Yuuka made her way down stairs and into the kitchen, carrying with her the tea kettle and cup left over from the night before. After emptying its contents and cleaning the vessel, she began the process of brewing more tea, enough for her and her guest whom she just heard emerge from the spare bedroom...
