Kalika stretched. "You can call me Kali by the way," she said. "You can take the spare room across from mine." She then headed towards her own room.

Marth turned around and watched her go and softly muttered "thanks." He then started towards the spare room, his muscles sore from the travel and the nights sleeping on the ground. A night's rest will do me some good.

Kalika turned. "Something wrong," she asked. "Everyone calls me Kali so please, it's much better than my full name."

Marth stopped walking and glanced back towards the window before replying "no it's nothing of importance." Should I tell her now or wait...Telling her would be best, but I should have covered enough ground today. He resumed his walk towards the room.

Kalika shrugged. "Whatever," she said. "What you're doing or thinking is not my problem since I'm not an assassin anymore."

Math spoke quietly saying "there are those that try to run from the past, but it has a way of catching back up." He moved into the spare room and took in the small room and simple bed, better than the ground.

Kalika frowned but went into her room. She had already come to terms with her past and wasn't running from it. She just didn't want to go back to it. She collapsed on her bed and willed herself to sleep.

Marth took care in placing his weapon belt withing reach as he laid down on the bed. He fell into a light sleep which he often did to allow him to be awaken in a moment's notice. Nothing came to his mind as he slept, just a darkness which he found comfort in.

Kalika didn't sleep. She was too shaken by having an assassin from her old organization in her house. She wanted to leave that life behind though she could never forget about it.

Marth awoke before the sun rose, but he remained where he was. Well yesterday was interesting to said the least.. What will today bring? He knew he had to move on. My past is not easy to lose...How much longer can I remain in one place? His head was spinning from the thoughts that were flying though his head. "It is just a little to early for all those thoughts" he said quietly to himself.

Kalika was in the kitchen, just making her guest and herself something to eat. There were dark circles under her eyes from her many nights of sleeplessness but she was wide awake. She hadn't slept a bit considering her past was haunting her once again. She needed some way to forget about it considering she had already gotten past it.

Marth finally got moving as he heard someone, Kali working in the kitchen. He moved into the doorway quietly after putting back on his weapon belt, and asked "what's cooking?"

"Bacon, pancakes, waffles, and whatever else I feel like," Kalika replied sleepily. She was tired, she just couldn't sleep.

Marth took a big whiff before saying "it spells great." He walked over to a window and looked out into the woods studying the area with an eye even a hawk would be envious of.
