Ihsan.al.Seif
It was Ihsan's first time at Algebra. He wasn't sure what the other students would be like but assumed they would be more or less normal...ish. Like everyone else.
He was pleased to enter and find Reilynn of all people. Perking up a little, he quickly went to her, helping her the rest of the way to her feet. "Are you alright?" he asked, tilting his head to the side slightly. That had been a rather spectacular fall based on seeing the tail end of it. And her tail end...up in the air. She had a rather nice one as well. He supposed that was another reason to like her.
"I wasn't aware you had this class as well." Though it was rather silly to say that because he didn't know anyone else who had this class and there was no way he could have known her schedule since he hadn't asked it. Hrm. Perhaps he should have worded that another away. He was silent for a moment, mulling this over. "I'm pleased to see you again. It's been a while."

"You know, I'm not much of a fighter, but..." Reilynn spun to face whoever spoke to her and it took her a moment to recognize Ihsan. She grinned at her acquaintance friend. "Ihsan! Well, we're both the same. After all, I didn't know that you had this class either, but now we do! That means two classes that we have together!" Reilynn said as she shot out her two fingers to make a peace sign or just... brought up two fingers. But hey! To Reilynn, it was two for peace! And she comparing things like classes.
"And I sure am happy to see you. I didn't want to be alone in this class and math isn't my strong point unless it involves money!" Reilynn rambled. "Say, Ihsan? Are you good at math?" She hoped he'd say yes because that means she could copy from his papers--er... have him teach her stuffs! "...I'm a pretty darn good treasure hunter!"

Scuffling. He heard it, and that was weird because it was always silent in his class. Blearily opening his eyes to peek at whatever was causing the noise,Cyrus nearly jumped out his chair and had a heart attack when there was blood trickling from the windows. Thank goodness he didn't. Oh man! Did his students do this!? He knew it! They were the spawns of the-- Oh, it was just Reginald. What on earth was she doing here? Did his third period decide to split up and attack him in both of the classes he had? It seemed like so.
Baseball bat go! Wait, no, he couldn't bring it out yet because apparently, another student seemed to arrive. This was probably the most students he had in his class for a while, and as wary as he was of them, he was secretly happy since he managed to have contact with living and breathing people for once. It didn't even matter that one of them had tied him up for interrogation! "Reginald, what are ya doing in this period? Don't ya know that this is first period and not third?" He wasn't... going to shoo her away though since he needed company! she was already here, and it was better to deal with her now than later. "Just go take a seat."
"As for you..." He glanced over at the other student. He seemed to know Reginald, so obviously, the kid was secretly with his third period. That had to be it. "Last name? Also, go ahead and take a seat too."
And take appropriate action.” - Douglas Adams

Rose Martin Talking to Xochiquetzal or going to Alegbra. Rose just couldn't choose which one would be more fun! Rose entered the alegbra room, seeing a couple students and the teacher. "Hi sir" she said quietly then went and sat in her desk waiting for class to begin.

"I don't have a surname," Ihsan said. Well, he did. But he wasn't about to tell this man (or anyone else) what it actually was. "You may call me Ihsan." His tail swished quickly back and forth as he studied the teacher for the first time. The man had a tail! But he wasn't a Djinn. At least Ihsan didn't believe he was. He didn't feel like one.
So he was something else--not Djinn, not mortal. Then again, he'd seen that boy with horns. And then a boy who turned into a puppy! This place was most certainly full of interesting people. He decided that he already liked this class. The instructor also had an interesting way of speaking. Ihsan liked it. Following the teacher's orders, Ihsan when and picked up a chair.
"Where shall I take it?"

"You know, I'm not much of a fighter, but..." Reilynn grinned at her awesome professor. "Well, I like this class so much that I wanted it first thing in the morning!" Reilynn said happily. After all, flattery always worked. Kind of. Not really. "And there were some conflicts in my schedule so I had to switch around a lot. So here I am!"
Reilynn was about to go bounding to her seat when the professor told her to take a seat when a girl came into the classroom. Oh! New student! New person that Reilynn didn't know! Her curious senses were tingling! She bounded over to that person instead. "Hi, you! I don't know you! Hey, you sure don't have a lot to say and you don't talk very much! Class hasn't started yet so shouldn't you be chatting? Oh wait! You could be shy! Hi! I'm Reilynn! What's your name? I just transferred into this class so we're classmates for first period. Nice to meet you! Hope we can be friends! I like making friends." Reilynn rambled and then she waved to Ihsan. "That's Ihsan over there. He's my friend too! He's really fun to be with!"
Oh what else?
"And you'll like this class a lot? It's a lot of fun! We have a lot of adventures in this class! Right professor? I love your class a lot! There was a time we played pirates and Professor pretended to be a bad guy and we won and tied him up!" Hmmm... maybe Reilynn remembered it a bit wrong. Well, who cares? "So it may be algebra, but it's still a lot of fun! You'll like this class! Wait? But maybe you're not a new student. After all, I'm the one that transferred in."
Reilynn took a breath of air and saw Ihsan holding a chair. "Oh? New game? I'm in!" Reilynn cried out as she picked up a chair and ran over to Ihsan and turned to the teacher. "Are we playing musical chairs?" "...I'm a pretty darn good treasure hunter!"

Rose Martin Whilst waiting for class to begin a girl approached Rose. Wow. She talked alot. It was hard for Rose to keep up with her rambling. "Oh hi.. My name is Rose" she said to the girl and smiled. Although she talked alot, she seemed nice. Rose waved at Ishan as Reilynn introduced him.
The girl liked algebra. Why? Rose didn't quite like it. "I've been at the school for a while.." Rose mumbled. Man this girl could talk. Rose didn't know anyone who spoke this much. Then she trailed off and started to talk about... Musical chairs...

It was so hard to resist the urge to bash his head into the whiteboard over and over again, but he somehow managed to not do so. Barely. Somewhat. Whatever. He didn't do it, and that was that! How was Cyrus supposed to deal with these brats? Obviously, they wanted to do their own things rather than learn, and well, he had to admit that he was rather afraid of crossing them if he tried to go against their wishes. Said wishes seemed to be musical chairs, so....
"Sure, whatever ya guys want. Just place two chairs in a line I guess. I don't have any music on me, so you'll have to deal with me counting. I'll say stop to let ya'll know when to sit." There. Now some math could be incorporated into the game too, and he wouldn't be yelled at for not teaching anything. After all, he was teaching them how to count.
And take appropriate action.” - Douglas Adams

Ihsan was thoroughly confused. The chairs weren't musical. Or...was it a game? Perhaps it was like musical camels. Except in that game, you had to chase them down...
and eat them.
He hoped he wasn't going to have to eat a chair. Mortals were sort of terrifying at times, weren't they? Oh wait. The teacher wasn't really mortal. Hmm. Perhaps this sort of thing was common for whatever race he was. Ihsan should ask after class. As Cyrus spoke, Ihsan sort of slowly tuned him out, trying to work out how a game of musical chairs would work and what sort of race of creatures at chairs. He did at least catch on that apparently there was no music involved in this game because he had no music on him. Perhaps they should try singing? He knew a good song or two that he'd picked up amongst the caravans. There was on in particular with a good beat. Having completely lost track of what Cyrus was saying, Ihsan started to go over the lyrics in his head, his face not once betraying how far away his thoughts were.
As he went through the lyrics, a particular line gave him a pause. Wait. He just realized what it was the sailor had spent his money on before going out to sea. At least that's what he thought the song was getting at. Rather risque, though. He went back over the lines, trying to work it out in his head.
He didn't realize he was standing in the same spot, staring at Cyrus the entire time. Eventually Ihsan came to the conclusion that his song was likely inappropriate for school. Maybe they could ask Zhori for help...

"You know, I'm not much of a fighter, but..." Reilynn crossed her arms. "Counting? No! It has to be a song! Don't you have an algebra songs in there or anything? How about you sing count? That'll work right?"
Even though class was over, she still wanted to play this game of musical chairs. But if one student left, it would be kind of boring if it was just two students. Reilynn had already moved the chairs to form a line.
"What's with the staring, Ihsan? Do you know how to play? You walk around the chairs, and then when the music stops, you shove the next person over and sit down!" Reilynn explained and then she turned to Rose. "Are going to play with us too? It'll be fun! I think!" "...I'm a pretty darn good treasure hunter!"

Rose Martin Ishan didn't know how to play musical chairs it seemed. It was a game you played when you were like 5 years old. Rose shrugged and listened to Reilynn's explination of the game.
Simple enough. Rose didn't really want to play though, she never liked musical chairs, then Reilynn asked her. "Err. Okay, are there enough people though?" she asked Reilynn adn looked at the 2 others in the classroom.

The staring from Ihsan was really unnerving. Seriously, what was with that brat? Did he have something on him? A sign on his back!? He really hoped not because if he did, then he better get it off now and throw it away because he'd have no clue what it said. It shouldn't matter though since he'd get rid of it either way. Discreetly tapping his back with his tail to check and inwardly sighing with relief when there wasn't anything stuck there, Cyrus frowned at Ihsan. "Is something wrong?"
Well, Reginald definitely jumped to pointing that aspect out. He rolled his eyes, exasperated with all their demands. He'd have to comply though if he wanted to make sure he wasn't going to be attacked again. He answered the two girls. "Fine, I'll sing-count or something, and I think we have enough. It'll be a quick game since class is already over." Seriously, why are they still pestering him even though the bell already rang?
"I'll get started with the game then. One. Two. Three. Four...." He drawled out, not even putting the effort to sing out the counts since he just wanted to get this over with.
And take appropriate action.” - Douglas Adams

Rose Martin As the teacher begun with... Musical chairs... Rose heard the bell ring. THANK YOU LORD! Rose quickly snatched her bag and shoved her book and pencil case into it. "Err, see you around Reilynn.. Ishan.."
Rose flipped out her green transparent wings and fluttered them slightly. They were sore. Rose walked out of the classroom to...

Ihsan snapped out of his reverie when Cyrus spoke to him, blinking a few times as he tried to work out what was happening. He realized Reilynn had said something to him, but had completely missed it. All he saw was the green haired girl leaving class. Ah...she said his name wrong. And it wasn't even that difficult to say.
He set the chair down. "Perhaps we'll finish next time." He started to go get his things but looked back at Cyrus, giving him an appraising look. It was nice to see an interesting teacher that was flexible with his class and, well, who had a tail. It made Ihsan a little less self conscious and worried someone was going to try to eat his. "I like this class. Reilynn, where are you going next?"

"You know, I'm not much of a fighter, but..." Well there WAS enough people! Use some imagination! There are three kids and that means there were enough people to shove! Really? What a disappointment! Rose left so suddenly before Reilynn could show off her shoving skills! Reilynn crossed her arms, very disappointed. It was like Rose wasn't trying to make friends the way she left so quickly.
"Okay! We will play next time!" Reilynn huffed as she put away the chairs. That is if she'll even remember they were playing musical chairs by then.
"Huh? You like this class, Ihsan? That's great! I love this class too! That means your a comrade with me, Tshila, Malade, and Sandego!" Reilynn remarked. "Oh, and my next class is economics! I learned last time that giving your full name is not good at all for whatsoever reason! So from now on, I'm never giving out my last name!" Well, it's a bit too late now since she ran around giving out her full name to everyone she knew.
"But it seems like the next class will be starting soon. Man, the classes I like the most end too fast. I guess I'll he heading out now. See you around!" Reilynn spun to face Cyrus. "See you next time Professor! And you should meet Zhori! She's the music professor. I'm sure she can help you with your singing."
And with a wave, Reilynn left through the window since it was still open and the door was not.
