I gotta say, from what I've seen of the trailers of the game, It looks really interesting. And I really like a lot of the classes from what I've seen of it so far. And some of the DLC artwork looks pretty good too!
I'm really hoping that FE13 does get a U.S. release...

Queen Melethia Dagon Nomad Rath Celice has a swordmaster style from FE13, too, although much more flamboyant. At least, that's what I think when I see Sairi, who's design is also Asian samurai influenced. I agree, Celice should just take off that coat, the peacock look isn't working too well. It looks like he's got a nice simple outfit under there! Some simpler eastern swordmaster wear. They all have their hints of FE13 design influence, though, even Senri Kita's Marth. I'm still gonna call it Holey Wear. And it looks like he's got a nicer, simpler outfit under that coat! Something blue, tied with red thread. I wouldn't mind if he kept the armor, that's okay. It's just that coat... If it was a simple, blue outfit, the armor and fuzz trim could be the more complex parts of the outfit. And it looks like he's wearing a belt too.... Stuff that would look better without that coat... And no one puts the boys into degrading poses or adds boobholes or pantsholes. Just coatholes! And of course Senri Kita's Marth has FE13 influences. It's the FE13 Masked Marth design, sans mask and with brighter colors. And drawn by Senri Kita. And tell me, is this her website? The art looks like it could be her...

O-o I dunno if that's her site- I can't get any pictures to show up for me... I'm pretty sure her style is a bit prettier than nothing XD
With how popular the game's been doing I'll be surprised if it doesn't get an American release. o-o I hope it does...

The mob sounds handier.
Game is doing really well, they registered a domain name for it, and it showed up in Nintendo Power. E3 hasn't happened yet.... all signs are pointing towards "Fire Emblem Awakening NA release announcement at E3".

That's good to hear that it's coming to NA. 3nodding The last news I heard about the release was that Intelligent System were withholding their decisions about releasing overseas after receiving results of how well the game go after first week it was released. sweatdrop

Did you click on the pictures link and click on the little squares on the bottom of the screen? I don't look at too many individual artist websites, and I don't know how it appears on your comp, but that's how it appears on mine. Also, Found 'er! Apparently Rika Suzuki is the illustrator of the FE8 novels. This Illustrator?If so, I guess I can see the resemblance in the eyes and hair, though I don't know exactly when those novels came out and how much time passed.

Elincia DLC map scriptIt was translated into English, dunno how accurate it is, but yeah. It seems a little choppy, but everyone's in character. Gotta love Soren. I don't know if I'd have the heart to defeat him- I adore that boy.

I so want to get Spotpass Alvis on my team... and then play KvK1... and well, Sigurd's the boss... >_< (The end of that... is very predictable) (On another note, what happens when Spotpass Sigurd fights KvK1 Sigurd..? Or Marth v Marth... or other silly crap?)
(And I'm so gonna make an Female MU... name her "Thalia"... get her to be a Myrmidon with the skills Vantage and Tome Slayer... then use that "find yourself from other files" thingy, and get her on my team in a more serious run (and use her to kill plenty of blackmanathin-- I mean Zomb-- I mean "Corpse Soldiers", ahem.) I like that Soren and Titania talk, since in RD Soren gets tons of lines and Titania gets next to none, which made me sad. Dialogue here is a bit awkward, like you said, and I really want to see what an official localizer would do with it. And Ike and Elincia actually get to talk! And I love how Ashnard is in the final room with Ike, Elincia, Lucia and Geoffrey. Just chillin'. Just hangin' out. No dialogue. Gotta love his death quote, though. [/evilplans]) If Ashnard is in the first Red vs. Blue chapter, maybe Alvis will be in King vs. King too. It will be even more awkward for fans to think about. I secretly wish that we can get Camus, Sirius, and Zeke all in one place and have them all fight together. That would take the cake for silly paradoxes.

I actually loved Ashnard as a villain, he was both funny and interesting to look more deeply into. In terms of the script posted above, I think there are a lot of characters who seem out of character to me- I don't know if that's a mistranslation or what. Buuut I love the Soren and Titania dialogue- totally agree with you on that- and characters like Ashnard and Sanaki were kept well in character. Sooo I'm hoping that was just a mistranslation issue.

I love Ashnard as a villain too, he's actually my favorite in the series. I love his design and his enormous presence, his themes, how different people and nations perceive him, his twisted enjoyment of battle, and how he can be completely off his rocker but his nation can still like him for completely believable reasons. And he genuinely believes in everything he says, no bullshitting around. I love stuff like that. In here it's just a case of "one of these things is not like the others!" But I guess the same can be said of all the villains that cameo, especially in the spotpass teams from the games where there seems to be one token spot for antagonists at the end. This is just the first actual chapter script, rough translation aside, that I've seen, so I didn't really think the villains would actually be there with the protagonists.

I wish I could say "Definitely" instead of "Hopefully."
But I've been counting the days down too. I feel like it's E3 or bust. Hopefully we'll get Dragon Quest X and Terry's Wonderland too...
