Snorting out a beathless laugh Isa kicked up her feet, letting dirt fly. "Oh my say it isn't so, how ever shall I live if someone see's me not being lady like?" Voice laced with sarcasam she took a sharp turn around a large tree..but, she made her usual mistake. Those accursed branches snagged causing a loud sound of pain..her loose mane twisted about the snarling limbs of the tree a little curse escaping as she tried to catch her breath. "Curse you tree! Why can you not leave my mane be?!" Not only did she feel angry at it stopping her fun but, embarassment..for Wallace would be there soon. He would see her all tangled up! Heat flaring to her cheeks she tugged futiley to get free, fighting as best she could to loosen it. "No no no..."

Isa was now in the unikalona's sights, and he grinned. "I ask myself the same question every day." A laugh escaped and his grin turned into a genuine smile. He was having... /Fun./ It was a new sensation to the stallion, and was cut short by the mare's yelp of pain. He sped up, trying to get to her as quickly as possible. "Are you okay? What happened?" Wallace quickly rounded the corner to see the mare's mane snarled in a tree branch, and his concern turned to sympathy. "Maybe you should find a two-legger to put that up for you." He used his strong tail to quickly snap the branch, and got his teeth around it. Piece by piece, he used the spade of his tail to push the hair from the stick left in her hair.

Wincing a bit Isa found herself pouting ever so slightly at Wallace's suggestion. She'd never had her mane up..sure the little flower like clip helped keep part of her hair out of her eyes but, that was it. If her hair were put up..where would Poppin ride? Where would her trinkets form travelling go? As the stallion helped free her hair the mare gave an embarassed little smile. "Sorry..the branches are always snaring my mane..I would put it up but, this is how my mother always wore her hair...plus it feels more natural to have it free." Once the last bit of her hair had been slipped free from the branch Isa relaxed and gave a little toss of her long flowing locks. "Ah..thank you so much! Now..how about we go on a hunt for something?"

Wallace raised his wings in a sort of shrug. "It was just a thought. I mean, you wouldn't have to wear it up all the time, just when you knew you'd be somewhere it could get caught." He didn't particularly care whether his mane was free or bound; it felt all the same. It was just a massive clump of hair no matter where it laid. But he felt that with it in a braid, it was easier to manage when flying and running through wooded areas. The stallion's ears perked at the word 'hunt.' "Oh, my dear lady, you would not want to see me hunt anything. Not in the literal sense of the word, anyway."

Shaking her head a bit Isa looked off into the forest, listening for the faint footsteps of smaller creatures. "I am not as dainty or delicate as you think..i have seen bloodshed and hunting..I've done many things in my travels. Please, lets hint..show me what you are made of." Winking and giving a playful flick of her short tail. Isa did bot mind blood or the fact that Wallace ate the flesh of animals..little bothered the petite mare. It took a lot to shake her up.

Wallace just stared at her blankly. He hated killing, and would only ever do it when he was hungry. "I really don't think that's necessary..." He, too, heard little footsteps around the forest, but let them be. He hated to shed blood in front of others, it made him feel like a monster.

Head tilting she let her eyes take in his stance, to try and catch any emotions. Quickly dropping the subject she instead started walking, wandering away. The smell of flowers drifted here and there..upon an idle breeze. Stepping daintily the mare turned to look for Wallace, hoping he had followed. The deeper they went into the forest the more Isa felt at ease..her ears flicked to catch every errant sound. At last the mare paused i front of a well hidden cave, it would be easy enough for even Wallace to get into. "This is the other type of hunting..treasure..adventure..trinkets for trade and beautiful things others are too afraid to seek out!" Breathless i her excitement Isa took the first careful steps within the cave, only stopping so her eyes could adjust. Yes this is what she had been looking for.

Wallace followed the mare in an awkward silence, wondering where she was headed, or if she even wanted him to tag along. She hadn't rejected his presence yet, so he figured that it was all right to trail behind. Once the seeming destination was reached, the hybrid took a moment to stretch his wings and his neck. A brow raised, he eyed the cave. It didn't look the least bit scary to him, so he didn't understand why others would be frightened of it. Without a word, he followed her in, stopping when she did. The stallion's eyes adjusted instantly in the dark cave, and he looked at the mare, puzzled. The cave seemed empty, save for some stones and a creepy crawly or two. "So what are we supposed to find here, Miss?"

Isa gave a soft hum as she thought, eyes quietly flickering about before catching the faint sound of paws..big paws. Composed as ever the mare peeked out from behind Walllace's much bigger form. "What could be making such noise? Something big..hmm.." She could only hope that it wasn't a predator..not that Isa feared such a thing, she simply disliked the idea of running back through the trees. Soon enough her blue orbs focused on a fluffy long tail between the trees. Appearing and then disappearing in a flash of movement. Heart picking up speed she pressed closer to Wallace. No fear..just a precautionary measure! From the trees came the tall figure..a stallion? No..a stallion with paws like those dreaded pure walkers. For the first time in a long time Ida felt a twinge of fear, not because of the blood tinting The stallions muzzle but, because of the angry gleam in his eyes. "Wallace...I..think we might be..in his way.."

Wallace listened silently to the other's presence. Not to its footsteps, but to its breathing. He sniffed the air and wrapped his wing around the small mare pressing against him. The stallion wasn't particularly worried; he could hold his own. Without hesitation, the hybrid spoke. "So, you like creepy crawly caves, too, huh? We were thinking about renting, ourselves. There's just something so quaint about knowing that if somebody else came along, we could get backed into a corner like it's nothing." He grinned a little, showing his sharp teeth. What was the worst that could happen? Wallace would give the mare time to flee, and he would handle the stallion on his own. Eyes squinting, he looked the stallion over. The fluffy tail nearly made him laugh. This was no skinwalker.

Honovi growled and felt his eyes rolling at the couple in his temporary resting place. "I have no interest in either of you. Leave my resting place..my belly is full and body weary from a long journey." Pawed feet flexing he just waited, he had no interest in either of them..he did not wish to fight. " If you want a fight come back when it's less bright." As long as they were intelligent and respectful he would happily flop in the dark cave for a long deserved sleep. Isa tensed a bit more when both stallions spoke, a bit shocked at the pawed males actions and words. No real threats or anger..just mild irritation. Giving Wallace a gentle nudge she nervously stepped from under his wing, moving back into the light. When Honovi's eyes met hers she froze momentarily. Amused ever so slightly Honovi let a deep soft laugh escape. Startling at the sound Isa scampered back the way they had come. Only stopping to be sure Wallace had followed.

Wallace gave the other stallion a respectful nod; he had many-a-time been in the same position as him. "Can do, but before we go, have you seen anything shiny about?" Before he could answer, the mare startled and left. The stallion sighed and headed after her, but stopped to give the stalion another comment. "Maybe next time, then. I'm sure we'll see each other at one point or another." He chuckled a little and headed toward Isa. "So you're afraid of a big fluffy dog like that but not me? That just doesn't make sense to me." With a small roll of his eyes, he asked, "Where to, now, Miss?"

Isa nervously shook out her long mane as her hearts frantic beating slowed. "A purewalker once attacked me..it's one of the few things that actually frightens me.." Feeling heat in her cheeks again at admitting one of her hidden fears Isa managed a smile. "Let's find a stream or..a meadow..that could be fun. Don't you have anywhere you have always wanted to see? Like the ocean? " Ah the ocean..such a beautiful place, filled with different treasures each time one visited it. The mare had collected so many shells when she had went her head ached from having so many trinkets tied in it. That had been a tangly mess. "Thank you..having you here made it much less scary."

"So if I'd attacked you, you'd be afraid of Kalonas? You do realize that most kalona will attack withouth thought, right?" He truly did not understand the mare's reasoning. It didn't make sense. Wallace raised a brow when the mare mentioned the ocean. The stallion had heard of it, but had never been. Plus, the ocean was at least a day's walk away from where they were. He looked up to the darkening sky, and thoughts of his teepee began circling his head. "Well, really, the ocean would be better suited for another time, maybe when we have a few days to really enjoy it." Wallace stopped for a moment and thought. Was he really considering seeing the mare a second time? The mare's words snapped him back into reality. "There's nothing to thank me fore, nothing happened."

Brows furrowing Isa trailed back towards their familiars, smiling a bit as she spoke. "No..because you wouldn't have attacked me..I'm just odd I guess..Most things do not frighten me. I like spending time with those that others fear..if I do not then who will? Everyone deserves a friend." Yawning sleepily Poppin peered up at the two, paws gently kneading the foxes soft fur. "Maybe..we could go in two days to the beach? All four of us..if you like."
