Impatience had swelled not only into the rabbit, but apparently the attendant to the training as they wasted little time to respond to Mea as she pushed forward her selection. Mea frowned and let out a small sigh, crossing her arms over. Perhaps it was the ordeal with the secret room that had thrown her so far, or maybe she was just losing her touch. Either way she figured it was enough luck that she had gotten it perfect the first time.
With little more than a nod to the attendant she turned back to her comrades with a wave. "Meet you guys up there!" she exclaimed, turning away with a bounce in her step. At least she was still here with them, and maybe they could find something else to do tomorrow.
Provided they were still around tomorrow.

[ WEEK ONE, DAY FIVE : KUMIKO ] Still recovering from his sad and unpleasant expedition into the depths of the Conquest Lair's secret lair, Fallow stumbled into training that day and sat down heavily, nearly rattling all of the blocks into different positions than they'd originally been in. The instructor frowned, waved away by an impatient hand an impatient greeting bow before the Púca deftly began to scent each block. He didn't even bother to talk this time; part of him knew he was only doing this to be productive; to get his mind off of the lack of chaos surrounding this place, and the culture and secrecy that wiggled its way in instead.
Humming softly, Fallow arranged Chapter 50: Azumaya. ( Eastern Cottage. )

Frowning, the horseman rearranged his own blocks into the correct pattern to show Fallow how he'd done. With smooth ease and grace that was built of many years of practice, he constructed Chapter 32: Umegae. ( Plum Branch. )
And then he proceeded to tell Fallow that he needed to focus more.

It had been a couple days seen Dev’s encounter with the hidden room, but the painful sensations from back then still lingered in her memories. While her memories were only a shade of what had really happened, they still left flashes fear and pain in her. As she stepped in front of the horseman, she closed her eyes and bowed from the waist. Dev refused to meet the horseman in the eye. It was like a delayed reaction. Her mind began to whir with suspicions and questions. Why did the Conquest Clan have a dangerous place like that? Her eyes flickered over to the rest of her companions. Had they encountered the room as well? What else had they seen that she had not? There were so many questions swirling in her brain as she attempted to form an accurate stack.

When she handed him her stack, he quirked a slender eyebrow while eyeing the squares and then Dev herself. “This is unlike you,” the horseman remarked curtly, sending the cu sith into an uneasy fit. Had she really done that horribly? She silently cursed herself for being so distracted moments prior. Glumly, she watched him reach out to arrange the tiles into a different combination. Dev bared her teeth for a quick second. She was completely, completely wrong. It was even worse than her first attempt.
“Is something on your mind?” he inquired as he began to put away the tiles.
“Nae, sir,” Dev lied with an annoyed flick of her tail. “Jist tired.”
