Arisa smiled at the fact her new girlfriend would be wearing a dress to the couples dance. She was happy to know that Alexis would be showing off her beautiful body. There was just one problem for Arisa, she had never actually considered herself a lesbian. Now she would have to explain this to her parents, friends and even to Alexis's family. She would have to endure the looks of everyone at the dance. She could make something up and just say that both of their dates had bailed, but would that be fair to Alexis? Just as she pulled up to the closet to see the dress her girlfriend would be wearing, she had an idea. "Hey baby, since this whole thing is rather new to me, what do you of us waiting to break the news to our families? I mean we still need to figure out what's going on. Do you have an ideas on what we should do? Are we dating? Do we move in together? Geez, I'm rambling again!" she smiled as she walked back over the bed.

Arisa wrapped her arms around her girlfriend and squeezed her type. "Well yeah I knew we were dating but I wanted to hear it from you." Arisa snickered. "It occurred to me that we may be more comfortable living together, but what if it is too soon? I mean we have been friends forever but it's like I have to get to know you all over again. Then with my parent, they love Alex but eventually they will find out about us. Then there's the dance baby, our friends will be there. They all think you're boy! Oh there I go again. Baby kiss me and shut me up!"

Arisa looked at Alexis and starting laughing. She didn't stop for a while. She found it funny that everyone besides her know about Alexis but she was also upset that Alexis didn't trust her enough to tell her. She also had the idea of moving in with Alexis in her head also. "Baby, what do you want to do tonight? I was thinking of cooking us some dinner and then relaxing in the bath. Do you have something in mind? Oh and what do you want for dinner? No more take-out for you when your woman is here to cook for you.

Arisa was so happy that she was Alexis's girlfriend forever. She loved when Alexis touched her. "So separate baths huh? You are certainly no fun tonight. I will go prepare dinner baby." Arisa left the room wanted more. More what, she wasn't sure. She just felt like something was missing. She decided that while she was in the kitchen she would call her parents and tell them about her and Alex. She was hoping they wouldn't want them over for dinner. Her parents were friends with Alexis's parents, what if they already knew? She was not ready to come out with them just yet. 'Oh well, I guess I should call them, better to hear it from me now then from others later.' she figured. She checked to make sure Alexis wasn't around to hear her then began to dial the number. "Of course they aren't home. Hey Mom hey Dad, umm... I just wanted to say hi. Oh yeahihaveaboyfriend. Bye!" She said as quickly as possible. "Shoot, dammit I have to call back." She dialed again... "Mom, Dad it's Alexis I'm dating okay... I mean Alex!" she hung up the phone and knew she'd made a mistake.

Arisa was extremely thankful that Alexis was able to delete the messages. "What your parents told my parents that you're really a girl? I mean they are friends, wouldn't it come up?" Arisa was beginning to stress again. She took a breathe, "How does homemade chicken stir-fry and rice sound for dinner? Then we can get to that movie. And you dare slip a nasty DVD into the DVD player like you did before!"

Arisa was thankful for Alexis being there to help her. She wondered how the conversation would go over with her parents. When she thought about it, she wasn't as worried as she had been before since Alexis would be going with her. She decided to just focus on getting through the evening.

When Arisa and Alexis left her parents house they decided to go to the mall to pick out Arisa's dress. "I can't believe that went so well." Arisa said to her girlfriend. Arisa, feeling better about the situation with her parents, wanted to just go shopping and out to dinner. Arisa felt good about her decision but at the same, it was a scary thing for her. She was moving in with her girlfriend. "Look babe, I have been keeping this secret from you for a while. Do you you remember when you were dating that girl last year, well I sabotaged your relationship because I didn't want to see you with anyone but me. I'm not sorry but I thought I should tell you!" she rambled quickly.
