Rory doubled over in laughter. "Of course a whole meal in one and then they trick us with the jello!" his laughter died down and he tried to catch his breath.
Rory thought about the menu they had in the cafeteria. At least food was a nice topic to get away from the painful subjects of the raids the two groups had been on and what had happened to the members of the two groups. "I think they have pizza day coming up this week."

Proper laughter; she'd forgotten almost what it -really- sounded like before they'd returned to base. It still kept catching her a little tiny bit off guard when she noticed it but, with its infectious nature and pleasant feel-good quality (even if it could 'hurt'), it was something she had /missed/ and something she had been glad to hear more of than she had remembered.
Her grin became another sort of gratified, peaceful smile as she enjoyed Rory's laughter and she made special note as he mentioned what was coming up in the cafeteria.
"Pizza." She nodded. "I'll look into that... and some /proper/ dessert."

Rory adjusted his position on the bed. It was nice to know another friendly face now, even better to see that person adjusting to being back.

The smile stayed, solidified a little even.
"Least I can do." She replied to the thanks, implying a 'thank you' of her own.
It wasn't for the 'catch up' either, of course; if not for the team, that included Rory, coming to rescue them, Tambrey suspected the little group would have eventually died at the hands of the Galactics. Running a few requests really was the 'least she could do'.
"See you soon." A little salute-wave gesture was thrown Rory's way before Tambrey started for the door.
She'd be back with the magazines later that day (with a vending machine chocolate bar accompanying them) after re-familiarizing herself with when the cafeteria served what; pizza day would be carefully noted as an appointment in her re-issued pokedex.
