"Well, if you and Althai both say its safe I'm inclined to believe you." Worst case scenario was that it simply would not work at all. Whisteria picked up the pills and slipped them into her mouth and downed them with a bit of water. Well, it did not work instantaneously which was a bit disappointing. She would stick to potions and magic from now on.

Aska shrugged. He'd learned what he knew about this weird technological marvel of a world by trial and error, and having a bossy, loud god in the back of his head explaining the hows and whys of things wasn't something he really enjoyed. "I haven't died yet," he said, by way of explanation. "At least... I don't think I have." It seemed like something to say, and he offered Whisteria a smile. "So... Do you have anywhere you need to be," he asked.

"Not really, no. My nephew is probably off with his lady...and my sis-" Whisteria frowned, correcting herself. Lifewater was definitely not a woman...at least not anymore. "...brother-in-law is likely busy as well. Since he is a Dragon King and all." That or he was busy with Cenarius, after all she had seen them together at the party.

Aska nodded. He understood about Dragon Kings. He had met two of them; they were nice enough, though they seemed a little pompous sometimes. Then again, so did Althai. "It might just come with being a god," he said aloud, and then he shook his head. He was not alone in the kitchen and therefore it was unacceptable to talk to himself like he was.

Which reminded him! "You said something before about sleeping in a tree," he said, tentatively. Some people might be sensitive about such topics and he didn't want to offend Whist for no good reason. "If you ever tire of that, my door's always open--I can sleep on the couch, even, if you'd prefer." Aska would not assume that last night's events would be repeated when the pair of them were both blessedly sober, and also un-hungover.

"At any rate, would you like to stay for a time? It'll be nice to talk to someone who isn't an ageless God for a while."

The druidess smiled, amused by the invitation. "Sleeping in trees is not so uncommon for me. Still, it is an appealing idea. I would not want to entirely deprive you of your bed though, that would not be very fair." She would be grateful for the company as well, until Elik had dropped in on her a few days ago she had been by herself for quite some time. That is unless wintersabers counted as company.

"And it'd be entirely rude to leave a lady to sleep on my couch," he said. "The thing gets uncomfortable after an hour's nap, I don't want to think about how it would work after six or eight hours." But then, how long did night elves sleep? Apparently just as long as humans, judging by the fact that they'd woken up around the same time... Still, it wasn't a pleasant thought. His couch was great if you wanted to sit and watch the television. It was not so great for those who wanted an actual comfortable night's sleep.

It was a design flaw. Perhaps he would address it later.

"We can share, if you don't mind," he suggested.

"Last night is the longest.." and probably the quiestest "I have slept in a quite a while." His company had certainly helped and for that she was grateful. Some nights she only slept four or five hours, sometimes less. It was not always nightmares, sometimes she was just too restless.

And as it happened, she would not mind sharing at all! "That seems the more sensible alternative. It saves ruining anyone's back after all." She tried to sound serious when she answered him, but failed miserably. The thought of sleeping next to him was appealing. Last night had been wonderful, and even if there was no chance of a repeat performance he still seemed to be a good man.
