OPEN RACE COURSE
The slimer was back from the infirmary, and so was the goat.
The two had an unfortunate accident even though they had fairly good weather to ride the course through. This time around, now they’re going to face snow and a barrage of hail. Cold icy spiky pellets of ice, that was something the ghost was used to in his first course, but this time, it was going to be constant and hopefully his goat could take it.
The ghost didn’t want to leave empty handed, and so they set off at a good pace. But there were no flags in sight, perhaps they got lost, or something worse. The goat wasn’t the best choice for going through a tough course, but the ghost didn’t know.
Even as he pushed it on through the snow and hail, his mount had stopped to take a drink.

OPEN RACE COURSE
“Did you know that goats need to drink?”
The lepus wasn’t helpful as it blabbered more things about the goat. From its origins, habitats, feeding habits, and such. The slimer couldn’t stop this companion, but for the goat, he was pushing it on. He knew he was being hard on the beast of burden, but he needed to win, and this required pushing the limits.
The limit was indeed reached, perhaps even faster as they trudged through the snow, and over a couple of loops.
The ghost wasn’t faring well either. The hail was still too much.

OPEN RACE COURSE
The ghost patted the side of the goat as it trotted along the course. He looked down at it, and wondered what it was thinking. He knew it was feeling better after feeding a few times along the course, yet the goat seemed weary since it wasn’t responding to any of its commands.
The steady course, was followed by rough terrain, as if the snow wasn’t enough. Fortunately, the trio was able to find their first flag.

“Did you know you’re lost?”
You? The ghost thought. Shouldn’t it be we’re lost?
The slimer glared at the lepus guide, who just eyed him with its large red eyes. It’s smile was too wide, like a mask, hiding something beneath its width. It was probably hiding more random facts, or maybe something else more sinister. Probably the facts, the creature wasn’t imposing, nor was it really sinister, it just, was a bother.
The goat however was harder to read, save for its heaving after jumping through a few more hoops.
It was cold, much like the slimer. As for the ghost, pain was written along the arches of his brow.

OPEN RACE COURSE
The snow was biting. The ghost, whose liquid slimey flesh was resistant to the ice, but the hail was raining down on him like bullets. He could only take so much that soon, he would have to recede from the course.
Unfortunately, the ghost wasn’t able to read the same feeling from the goat, who, in frustration, just cried, ran and jumped until its rider fell to the ground.
The ghost felt the familiar feeling of defeat, and just held on his flag until someone from the games was going to pick him up.
