Snow Dash!
Back from the infirmary again and Titus was looking less than pleased. Two times now he had fallen into a ravine. It was like the stupid thing had it out for him.
"Did you know that-"
Titus quickly shuffled the backpack off and tried to throw it. He was done with it. NO MORE LEPUS! The demon started to take off hoping if he got enough distance he wouldn't have to- and there the backpack was already wrapping around his shoulders. Stupid enchantments.
"Did you know you can't get rid of me that easily?"
"Jacking Hell lets get this over with." The demon slumped toward his next course but before he could even make it to one the weather had changed. What was with this place and its ever changing weather? Now it was...snowing? And hailing? Titus was being pelted at every step. It kind of stung.
"Great, it couldn't get worse." He mumbled making his way to the front of a course standing there almost dejectedly. It was snowing...and his trail was icy looking. Awesome. Moving forward the demon tried to be careful with his footing though he slipped now and then.
It wasn't very long before Titus took a step and heard an ominous cracking noise. His eyes grew wide as he looked down seeing the ground starting to give way. He was on nothing but ice...and nothing underneath. s**t! Picking up his pace the demon leaped at the last second and somehow managed to land on safe ground. It even astounded him.

Snow Dash!
More hail kept pelting Titus in the face. It was really hard to see where he was going. Jack damn it all. He hated the snow and the cold. These were far from ideal conditions. He could only hope the trials of conquest and death weren't as troublesome as this. With his luck he would be coming out of this trial with a cold. Speaking of which.
"ACHOO!"
"Did you know stumble noises can cause an avalanche?"
"Shut up Food, I don't something like a sneeze could cause something like that." And it was true, there was no avalanche to be had on the other hand it seemed Titus had wandered into a snowdrift without thinking and was now...sinking? "Oh ********>" The demon began to struggle but it only sucked him down faster. Was he going to meet his end this way? Was he going to be swallowed by snow and left buried for all eternity like a jack damn yeti? "NOOOOOOOOOOoooooooo...oooo?"
Titus started to trail off when he realized he had stopped sinking. Huh, what do you know. And oh look a flag. The demon snatched it up before he began to pull himself free and move on.

Snow Dash!
The course was almost over. Titus could see the finish up ahead and the last of the flags. Oh thank jack. It was smooth sailing from here. Casually the demon started to walk hearing an odd thundering noise in the distance. What was that?
"Did you know....that stumble noises can cause an avalanche?"
"You already said that." Titus grumble turning now to see what the noise was.
"Did you know...I was right?"
And how right the little fuzzball was. Coming barreling toward the demon was a wall of white. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" Titus turned on his heels and started to run using his wings to help propel himself faster. Luckily he was still thinking because he managed to grab the two remaining flags before he crossed the finish line and took flight to stay well above the avalanche's path. "Jack damn that was close."
"Did you know you did very well?" The Lepus was smiling as it always did, looking at Titus with a sense of pride. He had done well on the last course.
"Such kind words all of a sudden...." Titus landed shortly after looking around to gather some wood. The glint in his eye said that wasn't going to save the Lepus. It was time to eat.

Now, to go with the absolutely damp state of her clothes, there were holes in certain parts from her... Rather lengthy fall to her death. Go figure the holes had happened to be in some of the most suggestive places. Like an extra kick to the groin or something.
"Did you know cat urine glows in the dark when black light is shined on it?"
Riyo didn't even humor that with a response.
Instead she half-wobbled onto her next course. Oh Jack. So cold... It was so cold. And before the ghoul knew it, she was on an ice road... Sliding.
"OH MY JACK!" The ghoul shrieked as she tried to balance herself with her tail.
"Did you know that ice to the face hurts?" The lepus peeped, his face buried deep within the backpark.
"I CERTAINLY DO N-OW!"

Alright. So the ice had hurt. A lot... But she was starting to get the hang of this. Hands positioned from back to front, tail adjusting balance. Yeah, this was working out.
HOLY s**t WAS THAT A FLAG? It was. It WAS a flag! If Riyo had been a weaker woman, she might've cried as she scooped up the beautiful red symbol of victory.

Yes, all was looking grand for the feline who now had three out of four flags. She could smell victory in her icicle-coated nostrils. It smelled like a perfectly cooked steak or salmon dinner.
"Did you know that fate is a cruel b***h?"
The statement made the ghoul quirk an eyebrow.
... Then she fell.
The flags. Oh no. The flags were gone... And when she opened her eyes, the ghoul was back at the beginning.
Feeling weak and stupid, the ghoul banged her head on the ice quietly until she managed to stand back up with icicles falling from her eyes. Tears? Something like that.

OPEN RACE COURSE Day Three of my punishment for living...Mot walked to the next task, his nose stuck in a journal as he wrote out his woes. His Lepus guide tried to act as his spell check, but kept trying to misspell words that Mot was spelling right. With a sigh, he closed his book and took in the scenery. This time he was prepares, wearing an even bigger poncho than before with a hood. It didn't rain, no, it had to hail. And snow. The pale skinned reaper shuddered beneath his coverings and took shelter in a shack. It seemed like to complete this next course, he'd need a mount. After many attempts to make friends with the animals, the only one who seemed mild tempered enough was a goat. ....great. With a sigh, Mot hopped on and started out his journey. Quote: 8: Your mount is whining about something, but you have no clue what it wants... -1 compatibility points. Immediatly the goat whined and complained. The Lepus pretended to play interpretor, but in the end, Mot wasn't able to find out the problem. This was it--the last obstacle. Xiu wasn't entirely sure why she had chosen to do this particular one considering all the rumours she had heard from fellow demon students. Something about...a monster that lurked here and went after demons?
Even so, the baku decided that she would give it a go regardless. With her backpack (and her Lepus Guide) with her, she went ahead and entered the cave.
Fortunately, it looked as if the monster wasn't around right now. That was good--at least she had been spared from that.

Honestly, Xiu was grateful that she had almost immediately dissipated after getting stabbed by those things.
