Ulmuka removed his shoes, hopping awkwardly from foot to foot on the burning ground. The first path in the course was even more aflame. The strix screeched and took off running. He figured that the slower he walked the more it would hurt.
Thankfully his plan worked and as he ran across the hot coals, he managed to snatch a flag.

The Cave of FIAH [Roll = 36] The next stretch seemed to be littered with exploding geysers. They were like landmines full of hot water and air. The timing on them was completely unpredictable (so far as he could tell) and so he adopted his previous plan. Just run. The strix booked it, clutching tightly onto the backpack straps around his shoulders. He heard a hiss and dodged the geyser to his right only to find his foot planted straight into another one. The look on his face was almost comical. Looks like Ulmuka is blasting off agaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaain! They backed up a little and the wolf ran forward towards the hoops making the jump, but just barely. Long Grass Field
No sooner had the rain let up and Joachim had made a poor attempt in binding his wounds the next round of courses emerged. With the rain and wind gone the air got sticky and wet making the reaper wished that this was the turn for ice as he peeled away his white jacket.
This time it was grass... lots of grass with a rather creepy effect of fog curling around like wisps of smoke.
"What do you think Merel?" He chimed as the ebony mouse whistled in awe of the scene.
Taking that as a yes he headed in, it didn't take long for Joachim to trip over a knot of grass sending his knees straight into the mud.
"Jackdam.... oh look a flag."

Long Grass Field
The fog was creepy. As the long grass reached far above his head and the taller that it seemed to reach the darker it got for Joachim to see. He could barely even see his own hand in front of his face and the rustling in the grass.
That was even worse, he couldn't figure out which way he was going or if he was still heading in the right direction and he couldn't figure out what was making the noise all around him.
What he did know was something just bit him on the ankle, causing it to go numb.
"Umm... this can't be good.." He replied trying to shake his foot hoping it didn't swell having him to cut his boot off.

Long Grass Field
Hoping on one foot and looking like a rather stupid with his coat in one hand, mud on his knees, Joachim kept heading forward.
Or was it really forward? Maybe he was just going around in circles at this point.
"Are you sure we haven't been this way before Merel?" He asked the mouse who was still perched on his head pointing in the direction of where they should be going.
"SQUEAK SQUEAAAKKKK" She protested loudly.
"Ok ok Merel..." Joachim replied shaking his head slowly.
What he did know was something was slithering around on the solid ground, and one of them tried to snap at him causing his other foot to slowly grow numb.
But not before he managed to snag a flag.
Landing on the solid ground with the flag rapped in his fingers the familiar voice from his bag responded.
"Did you know? According to the Guinness Book of World Records, the highest number of leaves found on a clover is 14!"
Muffling in the dirt Joachim replied, "that's nice..... can I go home now?"
It didn't take long for the boogeymen to show up and carry him out.
