Sasha wasn't one to judge the likes and dislikes of anyone, but she couldn't help the very unsubtle climb of her eyebrows as they hefted upward.
"I wonder what he has that could help the choir get off the ground." She watched Jerry closely, eyes scanning his scars. She wanted to ask but... would it be appropriate?
Gosh.
<I am sure he will not mind if you ask.>
Hello, devil on Sasha's shoulder.
Another time.
"Do you think I should go clean up the books we left behind?" Jerry had said she wasn't keeping him from anything, but it was best to be certain.

Jerry glanced down again, laughing, "Honestly, me too. I suppose we'll see, huh?" He shifted when she timidly made her offer, rubbing the back of his head. They both probably had duties they technically should tend to, "Er... I'm sure they'll be fine. I mean, if you wanted to go back and get them if you wanted to check them out before someone put them away, we can plot more later..."

"Oh, no, I wasn't going to check them out.. just.. you know. Keep myself occupied." She shrugged and clasped her hands in front of her, just staring at Jerry.
Yep. Just... standing in the hallway outside Jerry's room.
She rocked forward onto her toes, grinning at him.
"So ... ah ... d-do you want to um."
Sasha worried her lower lip between her teeth.
"If your room is messy, I can clean it for you?"

Do you want to um... oh gosh, oh jeeze, she was still hovering and.. and what if she wanted to... but the hurt of Candace was still hovering. It was an odd sensation, still in a sort of limbo with one woman with another quite lovely young lady fidgeting on his doorstep.
Jerry took a deep breath. Want to what? Go do something? Walk on the beach? Spar? Something... more? But no, Sasha was not... like that other woman. She was sweet she was proper, she was innocent, she....
wanted to clean his room.
His face paled again before the blush returned with a vengeance. "Ah... ahahaha um. Th-that's.. that's alright," He could taste his pulse. He was normally a very tidy person. That had recently not been the case. "I should... should probably go see what tomorrow's duty roster says and um. Get some rest. I'm still a little under the weather. But... but thank you for the offer," He babbled quickly.

Sasha just continued watching him almost expectantly up until the point he mentioned that he was still slightly under the weather. At that point she looked mortified, mouth dipping in a little moue.
"Oh my gosh, Jerry. I am so horrible. Here you are not.. not feeling well. And I'm just," she gestured with a pale hand, "just keeping you standing outside your dorm like some sort of ... you just go ahead and rest. Maybe we can talk again later this week about choir?"
Nona was rolling her metaphorical eyes so hard. Sasha ignored her.
"If you want to do pod duty together, just let me know?"

"Ah! Yes! Pod duty! That would be great! It's usually quiet, and so long as no one sees us er... multitasking, we could get some things ready maybe!" He smiled encouragingly. "I'll ah... send you a text!"

Sasha nodded enthusiastically, reaching into her pocket to give one last resounding, "PTHHOOOOOOOOBT!" before smiling.
"That sounds good. I'll be sure to keep my phone with me. Sometimes I forget it. Now you go nap." She gave him a stern look before backing away a few steps. Sasha offered one last wave before she turned around and made her way down the hallway back to her own dorm, sporadically buzzing on her kazoo.

Jerry watched her go, letting out a long, deep breath.
Maybe... things were turning out alright. His expression had fallen, though, back to one of misery. He should sleep it off. Things would look better in the morning, hopefully.
