Her nose twitched, the salty scent from the ocean stuck in her nose. Ugh, she couldn't get it to go away! She rolled some of the sand she gathered over to the sandcastle and packed some of it into place. There, she'd gotten something done!
And then she sneezed again. Was Ren still whining about the water? Or was that Tybalt whining about Ren?

A few more pats here and a few more there. Just a little more sand shoved into that spot here. LW got even more repaired on their sandcastle before she tripped over something (probably a rock). What the Jack?! Oh she swore if it was that crab....!

Moving around the castle, Jove finally caught sight of that elusive red tail, and dashed forward for what looked like a hug. Except he stopped himself just short, and instead settled for clasping his hands and wagging his tail to express his relief. She hadn't been swept out to sea after all.
His ears perked as he noticed the repair job she had done. And then he nodded in approval.

"LWWWWWWWW" Ren screeched, sounding about an octave higher than he normally would, and ran towards his ghoulfriend with his arms outstretched.
He also may or may not have picked up Jove on the way in the process.

LW glanced over her shoulder at the sound of feet approaching. It was the pup, tail wagging and looking rather relieved. The she-wolf gave him a big grin, wagging her own tail and winking. She was alright and back to assist with....babysitting the other two.
"Think it will do, huh?" She asked Jove, seeing his nod of approval at her patch up work.
And then....Ren screeching. LW jumped, cringing slightly, spotting said gryphon. Running towards her.

"Oh come on!" Tybalt growled out, biting down onto the tentacle with as much force as he could use in his jaws, determined to defend the castle.
This was getting crazy. First crabs, then tidal wave, and now a freakin' kraken!? Clearly someone disliked sand castles.

Jove was momentarily cowed by the giant tentacle, but the moment he realized the hazard it posed to his sandcastle, which he had struggled to protect and put back together, the little pup bristled up like a hedgehog.
Grabbing a clump of sand, the pup hurled it straight at the tentacle. It seemed his bruteball practices had been paying off.

Regardless of their attacks, the kraken seemed to be doing more damage to their castle than they could to it. Still, the black dog wasn't going to give up. Not while it still stood.

Jove wasn't going to let his castle go down without a fight! Climbing up the remains of it's outer wall, the pup leaped onto the tentacle and sunk his teeth into it's slimy, rubbery flesh. Disgusting, but a little more effective than throwing sand.

First it was the Jackdamned crab. Now this?! LW was not a happy she-wolf. Especially as she watched the kraken destroy their sandcastle. All that hard work Jove had put into it going to waste! A deep growl vibrated from her chest as she lunged at the closest tentacle to sink her nails deeply into. And then cling in an attempt to wripp that Jacking tentacle off! Thought it could destroy their sandcastle without consequences? Yeah right!
