Gene taking her top off in front of Danny's boilfriend would be great gossip to tell others, however, this wasn't the time for that.
"DANNY IF YOU DON'T DO IT, I'LL INTENTIONALLY KILL OUR CASTLE! I'LL DO IT!" Bea felt a slight shift in the sandcastle. Crap. "Listen, we can get through this, but we'll need your help too... Can't do this without you."

Danny found herself at an impasse. She REALLY wanted to help them. Help SAVE DA CASTLE~ and all, but at the same time she really wanted to curl up on her little sandbar and never leave.
She stared at Gene for a moment. While the ghouls probably expected a bigger reaction from her, all Danny said was, "I ... don't get it. Why would it be weird to take your shirt off?" She never wore shirts. Like ever. There was the occasional tank top, but even those didn't count really. Was not wearing shirts ... bad?
While she pondered through this, the sand around her was slowly getting roasted by her heat aura. Though it was still relatively wet, her heat had at least made it bearable.
Danny began pacing around in a few steps, kicking dirt onto the castle as she went. "Are you ... supposed to wear shirts?" Meanwhile a few pieces of dirt were at least piled onto her sandcastle-sand-pile, and her walking over it packed the sand in closer. Ten points for Danny (and consequently, the team)!

Then Bea started hollering about the castle. Oh Jack! She couldn't let that happen!
Only Danny would find the sandcastle crumbling more stressful than a ghoul flashing her boilfriend.
"Okay okay! I'm going I'm GOING!" she shouted, getting to work on throwing more sand onto her little sandpile. Her digging skills could've rivaled Demi's! ... They totally couldn't have, but a ghoul could try.

THE KRAKEN'S HP: 138  ((OOC: BONUS MECHANICS: - Red Herring. The Red Herring swims back, and it has brought all of its friends, from China, Russia, and Arizona, but not really Canada, cuz like, even though its flag may be red and stuff, its not really a communist, how could you even accuse such an awesome country?! You're just jealous you're not a communist Canadian aren't you well you know what- - Okay I derailed sorry. It brings back its friends and recovers your castle back to full HP. This mechanic must be used PRIOR TO THE BOSS FIGHT. ))
Unfortunately, the excitement wouldn't last long. The announcer said something about the Kraken, and suddenly - there it was. A massive tentacle threatening to destroy them and their fort of fish.
Gene screamed, tripped over herself, and ended up with a face full of fish and sand. Could this day get worse?

"MY FISH! MY FISH CAME BACK!" Bea cheered with tears running down her eyes. It did care! The shimmering scales of all its fish friends charging after it was definitely a sight to see. Bea was happy. Bea was proud.
Her smile soon wiped off her face when suddenly...
Up from the depths...
Thirty stories high...
Breathing fire--- Okay so it wasn't breathing fire but it was still threatening to everyone including their pathetic looking sandcastle. BUT WAIT! Their castle wasn't pathetic looking! Their castle was surrounded by beautiful fish, and ready to defend it.
Though Bea wasn't able to move, maybe she could send one of her little fishy friends to help!
"GO MY FISHY FRIENDS!" Bea commanded. Not sure if it would actually work, but it seemed as if one fish did try to fly into the air and slapped the tentacle. Unfortunately, the tenacle just whacked the poor fish right back to their castle and hit Bea's face in return...
"OW!"

Gene gave Bea a thoroughly dumbfounded look at her choice of battle tactics, before turning to the monstrosity. How could she hit this thing hard enough to actually put a dent in it? Oh, if only she had some coffee to throw on it and scald it. That probably wouldn't work here though, since all the coffee would be iced and come with little serving umbrellas because this was a beach and it had to be chic and all.
Wait. Idea coming...
Yes!
Umbrellas! The ghoul stole away quickly, and returned with two umbrellas. Heck to the yes she was gonna dual wield. Taking a gulp of air for courage, the doppelganger rushed forward screaming, whacking the tentacle with both umbrellas, rather ungracefully. The tentacle flailed lamely at the castle, managing to knock a fish away.

Bea watched as her comrade took swings at the tentacle with her umbrella. Where did she get that from? No matter. Bea was hoping her fish friends could dish out more damage.
"COME ON! YOU CAN DO IT!" Bea cheered on her fish and teammates.
The tentacle came back with a vengeance. It seemed Bea had attracted the tentacle and it whipped it's arm right on the side of the castle. "NOOOO!" Bea cried as the tentacle pulled back.

The tentacle was harsh. It was still thrashing about onto the castle. Bea couldn't help but scream for her safety, considering she is part of the castle.
When the tentacle came down, Bea quickly bit down on its arm as it flailed around.

Danny watched with wide, frightened eyes as the kraken rose from the depths breathing fire what are you even scy. Now Danny didn't get super scared very often (after all, it was her job to be scary!), most of the time because she was too stupid but this time? Well this time Danny was scared. Why you ask?
A certain trolololopus in Savage's classroom.
Danny had nightmares about that thing for weeks afterwards.
Needless to say, as soon as it rose from the depths, Danny was paralyzed. She just stood there doing nothing. Then Bea kicked into gear and started at least attempting to take the thing down. Hey! That's right! They had to protect their sandcastle, even if it meant getting a bit dirty.
Danny threw a fireball in the kraken's direction, and at first she thought it did something. One of the tentacles recoiled a little, and there was a tiny back mark on it. It was too soon to celebrate though, because no sooner had Danny spoken when another tentacle came flying at their castle.

Realizing that the fireballs would do no good, Danny darted and dodged another tentacle, which unfortunately ran straight through their castle. Great. Just fabulous.
Angrily, she kicked the tentacle back, but it just slithered back into the ocean, a little wounded, but nothing more. You win this round Mr. trolololopus.

Bea screamed as the tentacle came right down at her when it was trying to hit Danny. "TRY TO MOVE IT AWAY FROM THE CASTL---- AHHHHHHHHH!"

Fish were flying everywhere at this point. Poor things, trying so hard to protect the castle. Some were still biting onto the tentacle's arm.

A tentacle was getting dangerously close to Bea's head, and Danny just went on autopilot.
Immediately she jumped on the tentacle and her hands lit up, searing the moist flesh of the appendage. She normally couldn't summon two at once, but with Bea in danger ... well her instincts just kicked in.
To top it all off, she bit the damn thing.
That's right Bea. Danny bit a kraken for you.
