Vincent gritted his teeth as he stumbled back, off balance. He crouched and caught himself, his leg muscles bunched for yet another kick. In his growing irritation he put more spin than usual on his kick and it ended up flasher than he intended but it did the job. His legs ached from the kicks so he decided to practice his punches again.

Parmida snarled a curse under her breath as Vincent's foot slammed into her again, forcing her to take several steps back without hitting him back. Both arms ached horribly now, and all of her was hurting from the beating Vincent was dishing out. All right, enough punches. Time for a kick. She might get lucky and take him off balance enough so he missed her.

Vincent pulled his arm back and swung with as much power as he could muster, pulling the punch at the last second, sensing that he might actually hurt someone. He kept his wrist strait but his knuckles hurt from the connection.
He'd try another punch after this.

She didn't manage to avoid him but she did score a hit. Her foot connected with Vincent just as his fist connected with her. She staggered back several steps, feeling very very weak. She collapsed onto one knee as she wrapped an arm around her middle for a moment, all her concentration simply on continuing to breathe. She finally lifted her head to glare at Vincent once more and shoved herself to her feet, wavering for a few precious moments before she headed towards Vincent to try and land a punch.
((o.o; *wonders if Vincent will carry Parmida back to her room since Parmida is too stubborn to give up*))
