It wasn't supposed to be a big wave, seemed more like a ripple if they were normal sized. but green eyes widened in horror at the body of water that moved ever closer.
"Well ******** m-" - SPLASH- Demi could not deny that was a big wave. And the fact that he was all wet. Again.
"What is with this trial and me getting soaked?" he asked grumpily as the irate pup pulled a desu urchin free from his hair, and conveniently forget that desu urchin had desu spikes to go along with it. "Ow jackdammit!" he screeched out in pain and threw it back near the door. He was sure it was just following Levi's commands.
Either way he had to trot over and attempt to help the others patch up the walls of the fortress a tidal wave wasn't supposed to be enough to do them in. "let's get this little old fortress back in shape!" he barked up enthusiastically and began to pound the sand back into place.

Though Bul was expecting the worst, when the wave finally took on their sandcastle he wasnt entirely devastated. Sure it took them a while to build but imagine building it at the size they were at. NO THNX. But this easing thought was utterly useless when it returned.
No screaming, no covering, Bul simply BLUSHED until he was the color of his hair. Avoiding any eye contact with Demi, he rushed quickly to strike one of the tentacles. It was amazing how big it was, it had to be bigger than tentacle creature from the great lagoon tub.
This was the true test of their strength and courage. Now things really felt like a horsemen trial.
Bul was pretty sure he had the glory and guts to sear this thing in half but he barely punctured a sucker with his nails. Determined to get himself some kalamari too today, he whipped his tail threateningly and rushed after the beast once again.

Still doing everything he could to keep the image from the haunted house out of his mind, Bul felt himself losing his edge and fighting out mind and just body. Progressively he could feel himself getting a little better but he still had enough energy in him to release his own inner kraken. Hopefully Jack willed that. After all, there were still people watching and no amount of distracting would get him and Demi sweet sweet victory.
"Come on guys let's prove that we are team BOSS for a REASON!" he cheered loudly to his teammates. Hell if he couldn't do this job the collective power of West's wrath, Levi's determination, and Demi's loyalty would.

The wave was gone. Mostly. The crab was dead. Everyone was fine.
Then the kraken came.
West didn't know what was happening at first. He heard the announcer's booming announcement, but the truth of their situation didn't register until he saw the murky green tentacle undulating in front of their castle.
"No." Ever since he had met Trixie and Riley in the span of a week, mere days after arriving at the school, West's life had been plagued by undulating, hickey-bestowing, molesterating tentacles.
"NO!" The demon snapped out of his wave of painful memories and rushed forward, kicking and punching at the kraken with as much raw fury as he could push past the omgwatno and the nohugspls. At least it seemed that the suckers on this tentacle were too large to leave him with any questionable marks. Right? Right? ;;

Now that was the stuff. It seemed West didn't object to beating down this monstrosity either.
Perhaps his shared energy would come in handy as Bul launched from the brickish sand to dropkick the tentacle snarling ferverously.

Levi was all for trying to fight something bigger than yourself; size didn't matter, right? This was taking that a bit too far, the tatzel reasoned. How in the danged heck was she going to pin that?!
It wriggled like a tatzel tail with fish fever. How-... Without any thoughts to how to take it on, Levi just swung at a sucker. Clearly, her feeble attempt was nowhere near as impressive as the creature's retaliation on their castle.

Jack dangit! The human world was getting on her nerve. First this brightness that irritated her eyes upon entering the portal and then continuous woozy feeling. That vibrant radiance had the tatzel wanting to throw something at the blasted-
Levi's lightbuld went on. Peering around, she quickly bounded over to the happy urchin. Being as happy as it was, the thing didn't make a peep when Levi nicked off one of its points. Thanks! Borrowin' this!
Spike in hand, Levi sprinted and threw the pointy end at the tentacle. Levi hit that sucker right in the sucker. BAM!

Projectiles seemed to work well against this foe. Taking another borrowed spike, Levi flung it, making another effective hit.

The urchin was still all OwO, just minding its own. Levi decided one prickle did enough damage; what about a few of them? Collecting a few, Levi shot them off from different points like she meant business. Yea? If they were going to pull this off, they needed a miracle from the great Jack himself. Bul knew it'd be hard but if their castle was destroyed then ******** he was going to beat the tentacle into submission ANYWAY.
"RAAAAAAAAAAWGRGHRH!" he war cried his way into a wild half beast appears its super effect attempt of a karate chop.
