So just a suggestion, would be a big pain in the a** to change stuff around but worth it in my opinion and definitely would be beneficial to anyone RPing here.

So I saw the posting format, 2 posts to learn E Rank, 4 for D Rank, and so on. I've been around Gaia for ehhh 11 years now and I've saw this format over and over... Typically people get bored and roll out. So my suggestion is this; change the guilds posting format around.

I'd look into a word count format based on social RPing. Let's be honest, everyone hates typical training posting.... But everyone loves interacting with other guildies. So why not make a point system around social RPing? Like 350 words = 1 exp point. So 2 exp points = 700 words = E Rank tech learned. You can skip the boring training posts, AND people will fall in love with the RP because they can focus on the fun things and not the boring training. I mean obviously I'm the new guys, and you could wiggle this around anyway you wanted, but I think it'd help keep everyone interested in the guild now, and would attract new players too! So just an idea, hopefully I spark some sweet ideas!

Some information, since I don't think details are posted.... but I could be wrong. Anyway, 30 words can be considered a post. Kinda lack luster but it kinda keeps the training short.

However, I do support your idea. To have a specific word count for each rank is quite the idea. Instead of doing the training posts, you can just do training sessions with friends and other role players. When you're done the session, you do a complete word count, add everything up, and add the applicable jutsu's. So yes, I do support this idea and rather enjoy it.

I hope I got the gist of what you were going for cause that's my perspective of it.

I didn't see details posted, I just scanned over people's posts. xD I mean, it doesn't necessarily have to be training posts, but it can be. Just as long as your hitting your numbers you need to learn whatever you're learning. Like I said since it's basically all around RPing with people you're going to have to jump the line count up. This way we'll say... You and I are RPing, and we're going on some sweet adventure. We have a great RP session, and both end up with 6,000 words. 300 words = 1 post. 6,000 words = 20 post. So the 20 post number looks big now, realistically you're only getting two B rank techs and a D rank. For something that would have typically taken 600 words if doing the typical training session. So the old method isn't obsolete now, but it rewards people who want to do things with their teams and what not and get a full on story RP going. See what I'm getting at now?

I mean, I'd definitely like to look into this auto learn stuff then myself, I'm part of the group that hates training. xD But I mean I've seen it work the other way around though too. I'm apart of a One Piece guild that has around 100 active players and after everyone started using it, absolutely loved it and has been rolling for over a year now. I couldn't imagine people getting burned on social interaction though. I mean that's what makes RPing fun, right? If people wanted to go about old training methods, we could just keep those too right? I mean obviously hike the numbers up for the social RPing, but you realistically could just keep the old system for people who wanted to go that route, and use my method as an alternate route. Everyone likes having options at least. xD

While I'm at id, maybe a second suggestion too? A sub class for someone who doesn't want a Bloodline? It will just give them like 5-10 extra custom slots or something cool like that, but in hand they don't receive their bloodline. So they won't be able to do crazy stuff with their Sharinghan, but they will have a slew of custom techniques to make up for it. Something along those lines.

The specifics for training are written down by the way. You just have to look for it.
When the guild got a "clean up" it just got more messy. Dx

And the thing is that's a one piece guild, and what techniques are learned, and what you do, is completely different than a naruto guild. :/ NLR II, a reiteration of this guild, worked on training points. You do a mission, you get a set amount of training points. You can autolearn a technique for a certain amount of posts. But everyone got burned out by not being able to get away from people and just train by themselves for a while that it collapsed on itself, people left, and the guild died. Because to learn anything you had to go on missions and that left people to far spread out too quick and everything imploded. Maybe we could look in to an alternate way later on when there's more activity but for now we need to focus on keeping everyone close. You can train with others, and even a sensei and even lower your posts.

I was thinking of asking about adding a "training with a buddie" option for post reductions.

When you don't have a bloodline, you can make two extra personal attributes for a total of four, though adding something like Nation's package system might not be too much of a stretch.

Fair enough, I've been digging around quite a bit and I'm just having trouble finding things here and there. Understandable though, obviously I haven't been around here for long enough to know what's good and what's not, just throwing some stuff out there. xD

Yeah I think I did see that somewhere about the extra attributes. Anyways, thanks for all the help. 3nodding
