Her father? Well he supposed they were a bit alike. Still at least he had some information to go off of now. He was about to argue that perhaps there was something they could do when he noticed that Rikka didn’t seem as energetic as she had when the hunt had started. “Very well. We shall return another time.”
Fai sneered at the plain looking vixen and decided to push the envelope a bit more. “Well if just you come, bat then I’ll tell you everything you ever and never wanted to know.” She gave the male a coy smile that could have meant anything before launching herself off into the water.

Rikkas ear twitched when she basically invited Dustyanta to get more information in exchange for some alone time. Yeah theres that bear again. Taking a deep breath Rikka calmed herself."I say we hide out close by...."she muttered in dustyantas ear."this way the daeva cant see us and we can catch him when he comes back."

Dustyanta nodded and then started to walk away and kept his voice low. “Though not today. I feel tired and hungry. I would not have us starve while waiting. Perhaps you could use some rest as well?” Perhaps that was the reason she was acting strange. He was sure if he got her feeling better that she would be less prone to attack strange foxes. “If you would like I would be happy to get you some food and rub your muscles. You have run quite a ways with me this day.”

Rikka sighed."yeah I guess I could." she muttered. she really didnt want to sleep. but he did offer to catch dinner."she happily nodded and started to move foreward with a bit more pep."lead the way please" she wondered if he knew the area."so do you know this area well?"

“Not in the least. I fully intend to follow our scents that we left on the way in to get out of this place.” Dustyanta was also taking the time to memorize the way here for their stake out latter. “That female. Do you think she would keep her word and speak to me if I came back?” A small plot was forming in Dustyanta’s mind.

“Perhaps. Though I’m not sure if I wish to carry it out. You heard the female speak of the flame wielder as her father? Or at least that was my interpretation of such events.” Dust looked back the way they came from the lake feeling a bit disturbed by the silence. “What if I were to come back seeming alone on another day while having you hide nearby? This way should the finned one try anything you know to be dangerous I can get warning. It would put my mind at ease to know I have someone I trust watching my back when I talk to one so.. unstable.”

Rikka nodded."thats sounds good."I'll watch your back Im good at recon then again given my backround it comes naturally."she gave dustyanta a grin that showed she was sure of her own abilities. She stoopped relizing she had said a tad to much. her parents were bandits, that really wasnt something many would be okay with.

Dust looked at Rikka with some surprise. “Background? I do not understand.” He looked at her confused trying to figure out what she meant by that. He kept moving away from the lake so that he and Rikka could get some rest. He wanted to be well rested for when they headed back to deal with the finned one.

Rikka sighed,."My dad is a Thief, so is my aunt mother, basically my entire family. were a large group of thieves." she sighed. she was tired."If you wanna talk more about it can it wait til tommorow. Im realy tired and I just wanna get some rest." she tried to give a small smile.

The girl was raised by thieves? Weren’t thieves bad? Well they clearly couldn’t be all bad if they had raised a child that would help a total stranger out. “Yes, Let’s head back so you can rest. I’ll catch you something to eat once you’re in a safe stopping spot. ” He looked at her. “Thank you for helping me.”

Rikka was a bit taken back, seeing that Dustyanta didnt seem to care that she was a bandit. she gave him a soft smile."its no problem."she looked at the male and nodded when he offered to catch her dinner."alright lets find a spot then. Maybe we can talk a bit about stuff."

Nodding his head he continued to follow Rikka not certain where in this area it was safe to stop. He also wasn’t to certain what she wished to discuss. He was trying to form a plan to get information from the mer-fox as to where the flame wielder was at. He hoped he could find out just what ate at the male and caused him to act so violently. .. and just what should he catch for Rikka to eat?

Rikka started to look around for a spot to crash. she eventually found one near a group of trees looked like there was the hollowed out log from one that had fallen."how about over here?" she asked. her tail swaying slightly

Looking at the fallen hallow tree he had to admit it seemed safe enough. “Very well. Food or talk first?” Dustyanta didn’t care one way or another but he certain was looking forward to talking, and yet he would never neglect his promise to get food. To do so would besmirch his honor which he would never willingly do. Thinking of his honor a thought crept into his mind. He set it aside for later.
