What was more surprising was the knee flying up to her chin, and her reaction was much too slow to dodge. His knee smashed into her chin, and she was thrown off of her feet. Her head whipped backwards and painfully crashed into the ground. The attack had been dizzying, and it certainly wasn't helping her lightheadedness. She felt a little sick, too, from the shock to her skull. Carefully, Sagi sat up and held the hammer in front of her in a defensive manner. For now, it would probably be best to defend.

I thought you had more stamina than that!" Laughing madly, Virule slowly started walking towards her, dragging the blade of the Ogre along the ground behind him. The sound was chilling, and he wanted to scare poor Sagi. As he neared her, he suddenly picked up speed and swung his blade straight for her head. It wasn't an attempt to kill her, but instead to knock her out. == == ☠ == == Quote: Bracelet of Night & Day:Day: During the day, this bracelet increases Virule's magic power. Guarding would do nothing against this person, who wielded a weapon that matched hers in proportions. Sagi declined a response to his taunting and slowly backed away as he inched forward. The sound from his weapon was frightening, to say the least. A sensation of fear saw to it that adrenaline pumped through her, and it took much to keep her from jumping at each step he took. It added to his already intimidating aura, and she flinched when he suddenly came rushing toward her. Sagi held her weapon up and curled up behind it, but it didn't help much. Virule's attack was swift and powerful, easily breaking through her defenses. For a second, she saw the aim for her head. Then, she saw black.

Virule Jon Herenheim "Before your worlds come to an end, all will feel my wrath." == == ☠ == == When Sagi fell to the ground, her hammer dropping beside her, Virule sighed and strapped the Ogre to his back where it belonged. Kneeling down, he gently brushed Sagi's hair and smiled. "You put up a good fight. It's good you decided to join us." Patting her head for just a moment, he grasped her weapon and easily hoisted it in the air, looking it over for a moment. "Good, no damage done to your weapon." Shrugging, he lifted Sagi into his free arm and slung her over his shoulder. Leaving the ring, Virule quietly carried her to where he knew some doctors waited and left both Sagi and her weapon with them before making his way back to the waiting room. == == ☠ == == Quote: Bracelet of Night & Day:Day: During the day, this bracelet increases Virule's magic power. Once again he was up against a woman, and once again he couldn't help but groan at his luck. Rufio's still in this tournament, but I haven't seen him! I want to get this match over with quickly so I can meet him in the final round! Hurry up girl, get into the ring so we can get this over with! The pink-haired man gripped the Ogre tight in his hand and tapped it against the ground every few minutes. Hurry. Hurry. Virule Jon Herenheim "Before your worlds come to an end, all will feel my wrath." == == ☠ == == Virule entered the Group A Arena once more and stepped into the ring, a rather frustrated look upon his face. Not only had his last opponent not shown herself, but he found out shortly afterwards that his freaking brother had just forfeited a match against the opponent Virule was about to face! It infuriated him so much that he absolutely refused to play nice with this guy. After all, Rufio had chosen to simply let this little punk move on, and Virule wasn't about to tolerate it.
While waiting, the rather grumpy fighter tapped the Ogre against the floor of the ring over and over and over again. To anyone else, it might seem a rather annoying habit, but to Virule, he was just waiting for the b*****d to enter the ring so he could kick the poor guy's a**. Then there was the fact that he was eager to win the tournament and give the prize to his new sweetie. Just thinking about her made him smile, but at the same time, thinking about what Rufio had done infuriated poor Virule. His emotions were conflicted, and all he wanted was to get this whole thing over with by quickly kicking poor Gen's butt. == == ☠ == == Quote: Bracelet of Night & Day:Day: During the day, this bracelet increases Virule's magic power. A heavy feeling weighed over him. He had no idea why Rufio had let him move on when he shouldn't have. Not only did he feel extremely guilty because of it, he had no idea how he was going to make it up to him. He didn't even know when he was going to see Rufio again. To add to his worries, his opponent looked strong and angry. Never had those two things been a good thing for him. In fact, it usually ended up with him getting severely injured. Alive, yes, but in a whole lot of pain. If it got bad enough, he might even turn into that animal side of him. Virule had to be the worst possible opponent for him.
He held his wooden sword firmly as he entered the ring. Stopping in front of Virule, Gen straightened himself up. He was here now, so worrying about everything would get him nowhere. He had been allowed to move on, and fighting his hardest was the only proper thing to do. Now whether that ended well was the question. I will keep calm no matter what happens, he told himself. Even if he was driven into a corner and he had an angry opponent that wanted to beat him up, he would stay calm. Very, very calm. Ha, yeah.. That probably won't happen, will it? Gen laughed silently and waited for the match to start.

His left hand was clenched into a fist and he was gripping his blade so tight with his right hand that the blade was quivering. "You? You're the one he threw the match to?! My brother let YOU move on?! How could Rufio let a loser like you move on to face me?!" Virule raised the Ogre and swung it hard at the ring in front of Gen, hitting it so hard that the ring literally split into two separate halves.
Turning around, Virule shook his head and closed his eyes. "I refuse to accept it. Quit now boy before you lose what dignity Rufio chose to spare. He's the one I wanted to fight, not some punk like you. If you decide to come at me, I warn you that you'll regret ever having entered this tournament. I'll crush you where you stand. This is the only chance you have to quit. Besides, I want the prize for my new cutie. I've got to give it to her, whatever it is! I wonder if she'll smile?" Virule giggled in a strangely cute way while dancing around on his side of the ring. Oh you sweet little angel, are you out there waiting? Watching me? Gen stared at his hands in contemplation, never really thinking about how he looked. But to interrupt that contemplation, Virule had swung his weapon, resulting in the arena being split in two. Stumbling, Gen looked at the space between the newly split halves in shock. Virule's anger and strength had both been clearly established. Gen regained his footing and held his sword up. Laughing slightly, he replied, "I never had any dignity in the first place, and I'm not about to just give up without trying, even if you are going to win." Forfeiting was a tempting offer, but it just didn't sit well with him. Strange as it was only a tournament, which he, unlike his opponent, had no reason to win. It was not a necessary factor in survival. He had a place to stay now, food, safety, so whatever the prize was wasn't crucial. He had no reason to prove himself to this man. That would do nothing for him, for either of them. With a lack of motivation, what was the point in continuing with the final match? Perhaps it was habit to see something until the end once put into an arena setting. Whatever it was, Gen knew he wasn't going to quit like that. "So, shall we start and watch my a** get kicked?"

As the Ogre was dragged across his side of the ring, an incredible number of sparks flew across the ground. Within an instant, Virule was in the air, his sword crashing down right at Gen's head. Immediately, white spots appeared in Gen's vision. He put a hand to his head as he shakily backed away. Of course it was bleeding, and he was already feeling dizzy. While trying to wipe the blood dripping down his face away, he tried to keep himself conscious and blink away the spots. It wasn't working too well and would probably be that way for the rest of the match. Gen could barely stand, let alone concentrate. Any attack attempted in his current state would only end in failure. He had been forced into defensive tactics without being able to even attempt an attack.

With a heavy sigh, he propped the Ogre on his shoulder again. "You're not the one I wanted to fight. I wanted to fight Rufio again. To prove I can beat him in an actual fight. When he wouldn't fight back...how the hell did he expect me to feel? I'm...glad my brother's not dead, but at the same time I hate him. I hate him so much. I just wanted the chance to fight him for real, without him just staring at me like a fool."
Sighing, he looked back at Gen and frowned. "Will you please give up? Please? I know we're enemies and all, but if you happened to die, that would seriously suck. I want that prize for that girl. I don't give a damn about winning some prize, my only reason for even participating was for a chance at defeating my brother for real. That chance was stolen from me yet again. Now all I want is to win for that girl like I promised her I would. That's all."
Rubbing the back of his head, Virule shrugged his shoulders and took a step closer, slipping the Ogre on his back again. This time, he drew both Pain and Sorrow and looked at him. "If you refuse to quit, I'll have to knock you out. I'll let you give up anytime you want. So if you choose to continue, I'll beat you until you give up or you collapse. Either/or, I don't really care." He made quiet mutters of response, but he wasn't actually processing all of what the pink-haired man was saying. "Right, happy your brother's alive.. Good he's alive. Alive is good," he muttered. Wait, brothers? That point made him wake up slightly. Had he just prevented a mutually desired fight between brothers? Great, that just made him feel even guiltier. Gen, you are a horrible person. I hope you're happy. He took a deep breath and let the oxygen run through him. He shouldn't be thinking such things in a battle.
Slightly more aware, he paid attention to Virule's next bits of speech. Gen kept up his defensive posture and approached his opponent. Wonderful. Virule had even more painful looking weapons. Even so.. "Sorry. For getting in your way," he apologized. Gen smiled slightly amidst his shakiness and pounding head. "But let's finish this off properly. It doesn't feel right if I just quit." He pointed his sword at his opponent. "Though, could I ask that you make it so I get knocked out immediately? I'd rather not see what I turn into when feeling like I'm on the verge of death." He was extremely willing to accept this defeat. He wasn't planning on dodging, blocking, or even trying to attack. With the way he was feeling, he wouldn't be able to anyway.

That would indeed be interesting, but I just don't care. Now is not the time to test my theory. Sighing, Virule nodded his head and smiled at his opponent. "Sorry that this fight couldn't be more amusing for you. Perhaps next time you can show me this other side to you, hmm? For now, if you really want me to knock you out, you're going to experience some Pain!"
Smirking, Virule dashed forward and quickly struck out with his sword named Pain. However, the sparks just wouldn't fly so the attack would most likely just deal some regular damage. Why the hell can't I ever get lucky with this damn sword?! Maybe next time I should try Sorrow out instead? "Meh, I hope this is enough to knock your sorry butt out. He watched Virule run up with his weapon, expecting some sort of special attack. When it hit, though, it was surprisingly normal. He wasn't complaining about it, though. The attack was already painful enough, and it would have been much worse with its special effects. "I think it worked just fine," he commented, vision failing him. Any attack right now would be enough to make him collapse, and he did just that. Gen fell face first into the ring and remained still.
