C O L E xxxxxxp i l f e r Again, Cole grinned and shrugged sheepishly at Riley's threat. He had no doubt that she would be able to back up her words when she said she'd kick his a**. He'd probably let her. Couldn't ever hurt a girl. "Oh man, a girl with a kick. Aye-aye, ma'am, won't ever touch you ever again. On my word, I swear," he said jokingly, crossing his fingers and making an x-motion over his heart. Though my word ain't gon' mean much, really.
Then, the crowd moved, again nearly knocking Cole off balance. Really, people had to stop with the pushing nowadays. He found that three guys, all upperclassmen, were striding towards them, in the center of the hallway. One dude, a guy with a huge grin, had his arm draped over another guy's shoulders. Cole could see blood on the guys hand - from the pieces of ear he'd unceremoniously ripped out from the senior he's seen before, most likely. Striding alongside them was the weird goth boy Cole had encountered before. Cole gave off a slight shudder upon seeing him. The guy still gave him the creeps.
Then, a girl flounced around the hallway, and into their path. Cole identified her as Lotus Lexerton, most commonly known as Precious. She was in his junior high school. A sweet little thing really. 'Precious' was a fitting name. She was a bit dense though, when it came to detecting the atmosphere of the room. She proved exactly so when she stopped in front of the three tall, lanky guys and gave them a big smile. Cole could've slapped his head. What the heck's she doin'?
Surprisingly, they didn't say anything. Then, the grain stalk from Precious' buttonhole - Cole had no idea why she carried a grain stalk in her buttonhole - fell off, and she bent down to pick it up, setting aside her books in the process. As she straightened, the goth guy went forward and scooped up her books. He handed it to her, stepping uncomfortably close to her in the process. Ever heard of 'personal bubble,' dude? Cole thought. The goth guy and Precious froze for a moment, then he brushed by her and walked off. People made way for him as he strode down the hallway and turned a corner.
Cole grinned. He felt a rumor coming on. "'Ey, that emo guy sure was nice to Lotus, don'tcha think? Y'think he that nice to everybody?" he muttered to Riley.

As soon as Seth walked off, Astrayl took his chance to go to his own class as well. "I hope I won't get in trouble for earlier. I really didn't mean to snap at that other student. I hope he is ok." He looked at the ear ring in his hand. "Maybe I should give this back when I see him" Placing the ring in his book, Astrayl hurried off to his first period. "I will see you guys later." He waved to the others. Soon he got to his first period and prepared himself for whatever is to come. 'I hope I don't get in any trouble. The only reason that kid is not a complete mess is cause Seth was there.' When ever Astrayl went berserk Seth, Ledell, or Donald would try to stop him. The only person who could was Seth. His touch some how calmed Astrayl down when he went into a raging fit of blind fury. 'Maybe Seth can help me to figure out why I do it.' He sighed as he got his book ready.

ℓσтυs gaia_spoons ρяєcισυs gaia_spoons ℓєxєятσи LOTUS replaced the grain ear in her buttonhole with a gentle pat, and reached out to get her books, but a shadow fell upon them, and a pair of pale hands took them from the floor before she could take them. She straightened up, and found that she had to look up to see his face. He was so tall! Precious stared unabashed, admiring the dark hair that tumbled from his crown. He stepped closer to her, and she felt her cheeks get hotter, but didn't know why. An odd sensation stirred in her heart when their eyes met, but she almost didn't pay attention. His eyes! So dark, so full of mystery... There was a beauty to them, in the same way that the moon is beautiful, and her peaceful smile tipped her lips, or as a thunderstorm is beautiful-
Precious looked down, accepting the books without a word, although she knew that she should thank him. But he strode off before she could. She swallowed meekly, her hands clutching her books closer than before. That feeling in her chest, it just wouldn't go, and she wasn't sure if she liked it or not. It wasn't painful, but it felt like it could be. Realising that once again, she had been standing in a daze, and that people were moving about, she looked about and her bright eyes lighted on Cole, who she recognised from last year, and another girl who looked older.
Feeling her new shoes squeak a bit and trying to resist the urge to do it again, and repeat it and watch, Precious approached them, her walk light and oddly gentle, almost like she was drifting across. She smiled at Cole, the same sunbeam she had given to the older boys. "Hello Cole." Her voice was soft, but pure. "Did you get your schedule already?" The light in her eyes increased as she looked on the girl next to Cole. Her odd-coloured hair was shiny, damp in some places, but there was an aura of healthiness and glow about this girl, and she just wanted to watch. As she remembered where she was, Precious smiled and pulled her eyes away. Reactions to her gaze weren't usually positive.

C O L E xxxxxxp i l f e r Cole kept his eyes on Precious as she stood smack-dab in the middle of the hallway, then cut through, totally disturbing the flow of students walking up and down the halls. It reminded him of traffic jams. You have this steady flow, cars going up the street, and cars going the other way, then this guy cutting through everything. It looked funny.
Precious stopped in front of him and Riley and smiled. Her smile tended to make guys' hearts flutter, and Cole was no exception. He managed an easy grin at her and replied, "'Sup, Precious. Yeah, got my schedule a while back. Got history first period. You?"
He noticed her gaze wash over Riley, and hurried to introduce the two. "Ah, sorry, m'bad. Precious, this here's Riley McDowell, sophomore. Riley, meet Lotus "Precious" Lexerton." Cole shook his head. "Man, Precious, what were ya thinkin', goin' up to those senior dudes? You got some guts, I tell ya."

 s e t h
xxxxxxxM A V R O S It wasn't as if Seth's pace was fast. In fact, it was not at all fast, but to any other student, it seemed like Seth Mavros was rushing down the hallway, which was extremely out of character. Seth Mavros never rushed - in anything. Even when he ran in P.E, he seemed to do it in slow motion. But at the moment, he certainly looked like he was rushing.
He didn't seem to notice how fast he was going - at least not until he bumped into a distracted freshman, who squeaked and scampered off. Seth sighed and resumed his normal, loping stride. He didn't really have a destination to go to. He was just walking. As he walked, the few seconds where he picked up the girl's books, and handed it to her, and looked into her eyes, replayed over and over again in his mind.
He shook his head. What was wrong with him? Seth sighed and gazed at the clock hanging on the wall. Still a few minutes or so before the bell rang. He might as well get to class early. There was nothing else to do. Seth turned and headed to his history classroom, where he took his usual seat in the back row, leftmost seat, right next to the window. Setting his books down, he leaned back in his chair and gazed out the window.

ℓσтυs gaia_spoons ρяєcισυs gaia_spoons ℓєxєятσи LOTUS' eyebrows pulled a tragic line. "History lessons are so dull," she complained in a lilting tone, but her eyes brightened suddenly. "The history is so exciting though - but I despise writing essays." Her expression was brutally innocent and frank, but she shook her head in a small gesture. "I need to get mine. I arrived a bit late," and once again, her lips parted in a glorious smile, "because I was smelling some of the newest Spring arrivals." Her top two teeth peeped over her bottom lip with the smile, in one of her strange mannerisms that expressed her happiness.
Precious grinned in surprise at the introduction. "Nice to meet you Riley. Please, call me Precious," she said in her chiming voice. "Everybody does." Her mouth popped open in an expression of bewilderment. "I didn't go up to them, I was just...walking. Did I go up to them?" She asked in a worried tone. "Well, the tall boy with the dark eyes came up to me," she said, in what she hoped was a pithy voice. Her eyebrows once again pulled a heartbreaking line of anxiety. "Maybe this was what my sister meant," she mumbled to herself.
Unbidden, Precious' head turned to face the direction that the taller boy had strode off in. He'd seemed so big. Her memory brought back the picture of his face, so much higher above her. But she hadn't been in any danger, had she? She hadn't been afraid, unless... What was that strange sensation in her chest? Was that fear? But it didn't feel like danger. Her mind's eye lingered on certain features: the strong line of his nose, the angle of his brows, the shadow of hair. No, she thought resolutely, I have to stay focused. Once again, she dispelled her daze and brought herself back to reality. I should probably get my schedule, she thought glumly.

RileyxxxMcDowellxxx•xx•xx•▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬Never complain, never explain. The bigger the hat, the smaller the property. Winning needs no explanation, losing has no alibi. All our best heroes are losers. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬Watching everything unfold, felt like a whirlwind inside of the sophomore's mind. Everything happened at such a quickened pace that she kept feeling her eyes being dragged in ten different directions at once. She could already feel a headache beginning to form, but she did her best to ignore it for the moment. She raised a hand to her forehead, casually running her fingertips against it while simultaneously brushing away some of her off-colored bangs as the girl from before suddenly approached the pair. Her emerald eyes widened a bit as the freshmen stood before her and stared right at her. It wasn't like she wasn't used to being stared at, she woud be lying if she said she hadn't had her admirers in the past, but the way this girl stared at her, she just couldn't place a finger on what exactly made her staring different from the others. Perhaps she was being too critical again.
But when her gaze was released from the girl's own, Riley blinked a few times before she lowered her left hand, now resting it upon her hip casually. Lifting her right hand, she shook it in a light wave, a chuckle emitting passed her curved lips in return. "It's a pleasure to meet you too Precious." She replied before she lowered her hand and followed the younger girl's gaze off in the direction the dark-haired senior had gone to. Yes, she had known of Seth since the previous year and in that year she had never seen him act so casually towards anyone not within his social group, especially not a freshmen. But as Precious' gaze returned to the pair like before, Riley's gaze quickly flicked upwards to the clock, to conceal her previous snooping.
"Ah, crap." The sophomore mused as her hands were brought up to the straps of her backpack, thumbing underneath them to give her shoulders and back some relief before she just gripped onto them for a moment, her naturally-long nails digging into the meshed fabric. "Class is going to start soon. I'd better be going," She already knew that she would have to run down the hall and up the next flight of stairs as fast as she could in order to get a good seat in her biology class. Man, this was such a pain. "Hopefully I'll see you guys at lunch or something. See ya." She referred to both Cole and Precious, her smile lingering for a moment more before she shuffled backwards a few steps and then quickly turned on her heel. Her greenish-black hair spilled behind her, rolling like a gentle wave as her pace quickly picked up. She panted lightly, the charms on her phone jingling, as she then rounded the corner, disappearing from sight before she dodged and weaved through other students who were also hurrying on to their next classes.
As she ran up the stairs, her cheeks were painted a hefty pink color. A hand was now firmly placed over the cleavage of her breasts, trying to lessen their bouncing so they didn't interrupt her pacing as well as not cause people to stare at her. Even though she was young and athletic, she still had some womanly curves that were continuing to grow and develop. She almost skidded to a hault outside of her classroom, panting still before she began to calm herself enough to not look like a complete wreck before the classroom. Quickly enough though, she took a seat in the front. It was the one closest to the door so when the bell ran to leave, she could exit as quickly as possible and finally find her locker to get rid of some of these textbooks and maybe her lunch too.

C O L E xxxxxxp i l f e r Cole grinned at Precious when she half-complained, half-praised History. He shook his head in amazement. "Always gotta find the bright side in e'rything, don'tcha, Precious?" he said.
He shook his head, just slightly again, as Precious formed her mouth into the shape of an 'o' in surprise. She acted so innocent, so... well, adorable; Cole had to wonder if it was all just an act, or if Precious really was like that. Probably the latter, since she'd been like that ever since he knew her way back in elementary.
Then, Riley readjusted the straps on her backpack, saying that she had to get going to class. She gave Precious and Cole each a friendly smile, then turned and headed down the hall. Cole waved to her as she dashed off, calling after her, "See ya!" He then turned to Precious, giving her an easy grin. "Now, howsabout we go get that schedule o' yours? C'mon, I'll take you. Can't have ya gettin' run over by some seniors that ain't so nice as Goth Guy."
He pivoted on his left heel and strode slowly back towards the office. His rumor-radar had been going crazy for some time, and now that they were alone, it was time to pry and find out. He waited until Precious caught up and was walking by his side, then said in a casual voice, "Speakin' of Goth Guy, you ever met him before? He sure was nice to ya, y'know. Don't look the kind to go pickin' up freshman's books either." Cole gave her another grin, to let her see that he didn't mean to pry so far. At least, that's what he wanted her to see.

ℓσтυs gaia_spoons ρяєcισυs gaia_spoons ℓєxєятσи LOTUS laughed at Cole, a bubbling expression of joy, like the breeze through wind chimes; unadulterated giggling. Completely unabashed, she peeped at Cole, eyes bright. "You know, my sister says that's the best and worst thing about me." Her joy diminished, a touch of bewilderment fleeting in an odd quirk of her brow. "Although I'm never quite sure what she means." As if it all meant naught, she grinned again, a single chuckle escaping her lips.
Precious raised a hand from her books, her fingers wiggling and her smile lingering. "Have a nice day," she called gently after her. Her gaze returned to Cole, at his address. She nodded gratefully, with a rather ineffective remonstrating glance for his words. She lifted her chin in what she hoped was a lofty action, despite being quite so short, and feigned snobbery as she started walking. "You know, you shouldn't judge books by their cover, Coley." Then, without hesitation or fear that she might insult, she continued, "Like you. You look too angelic to be so irritating, but I don't think any teacher ever liked you." All her pretended attitude fell, and she skipped slightly. "Its like you have wings on your feet, the way you get around so quickly."
Precious giggled again, but she reigned herself in to answer his question. "I don't think so, Coley," and her features drew into an almost comical expression of confusion. "You don't think so? I thought he looked nice," she mused, her feet carrying her forward whilst her brain disengaged, her mouth still connected to her mind softly. "So I shouldn't have smiled at him?"
The door to the reception startled her and she stopped in her tracks. "Oh, we're here." Suddenly, she felt nervous. "What do I say again? Sis told me this morning, but you know that I forget everything," she asked in a voice thick with trepidation.

War is a necessity so that we may know peace...xxxxxxx"Huh? Oh, hey Ledell. Yeah, I picked it up last week in the office."
Brianna closed her locker and grinned at her upperclassman. Most of the time, she got along with the beautiful senior, but sometimes, the girl was just so totally oblivious to how her boyfriend cheated on her that it was annoying. But she wasn't going to be the one to reveal that well-known secret, of course.
"So clue me in, Ms. President-of-every-club-and-committee-there-is-at-this-school. What major school events are going to be in the works this year?"
As she spoke, she linked her arm in Ledell's and began walking down the hall.xxxxxxxx... And Athena, goddess of war, enjoys every second of it.

C O L E xxxxxxp i l f e r As Precious caught up with Cole, she straightened her stance in what looked to be a snobby attitude, and berated him on 'judging books by their cover. ' "Like you. You look too angelic to be so irritating, but I don't think any teacher ever liked you."
Cole would have been insulted, had the tone in her voice not been so... innocent-sounding. Despite her effort to act cool and nonchalant, she still sounded like Precious, and he struggled to hold in a laugh. He looked innocently at her, widening his eyes. "Moi? Of course they love me. Why else would they give me those pretty-lookin' A's and B's?' He grinned, shrugging 'modestly' when she complimented him. "Hey, runnin's my sport. Thinkin' of goin' out for track. Ya think it'll do?"
They arrived at the office, and Precious stopped abruptly, a look of nervousness coming over her face. Cole grinned, and looped an arm around her. "Like this." He pushed the door open dramatically and marched up to the counter. "Hiya! This girl here needs 'er schedule, ma'am!"
The office lady looked up at him sluggishly, and adjusted the glasses on her nose. "Oh. It's you. Again."
"Yep. Can't seem t'stay away."
"Apparently." With a sigh, the office lady heaved herself off her chair and stared at Precious. "Name?"

"Oooh, fanceh!" Brianna grinned and lowered her voice to a conspiratorial whisper.
"Are we going to have another sports festival this year like they do in Japan? I had tons of fun at the one we had last year, especially at the mock cavalry battle."
She sighed at the memory of the crazy event, where three people acted as the horse and one person as the rider wearing a headband in the team colors. The chaos that had ensued had been glorious, and she'd hoped to get a chance to work out some good strategies for this year. Maybe they could do one with real horses...

Ciel had left the school before students walked through the doors. It wasn't like she wanted people to know she flirted to get good grades, even if they suspected it. She had an image to uphold, and she was going to uphold it. So when she found her friends halfway from her home and the school, she joined the group, and walked back to school. A smirk was prominet on her face, asshe knew how easy it would be to get rid of every single one of her 'friends', and get newones. A simple remark on their look, they thought they weren't worthy enough to be with her.
But being so caught up in her thoughts, she ran striaght into Cole. Well hello there. How are you today, cutie? She said, flirting. She had to admit, Cole was cute, with his dark skin, and carmel eyes. If she was any other girl, if she wasn't dating someone, if she wasn't the girl people would call,Slut she could have melted into his eyes, but her harden ice blue eyes just glimmered mischeviously.

It was just one of the mannerisms that made her look like a typical queen bee, but it was a habit she couldn't break. Then she smiled. "Well, I did enjoy the sports festival last year.
