Some people liked being boring? Why would anyone WANT to be boring? It made no sense to him. Didn't everyone want to make others happy? While being boring wasn't making others upset, it still failed to make them happy. So how could he turn this around? How could he make her think he was fun? How could he make her smile? That was what he had to do, to find some way to make this odd orange girl happy. But how. The only thing he could think of... he hesitated, but if he really wanted to do good for others, he had to make the sacrifice. "Would you be less bored by me if I told you to speak as fast as you wish again?" he asked. It would be worth the headache.

Now he was REALLY confused. She made no sense. None at all. He fought another whimper. "That would be boring too?" he repeated weakly. How did he fix this then? How could he do good for her? Well, one way to find out. He could always just ask. "So if I'm boring, how do I make you happy?" he asked, finally. Why hadn't he just started that way in the first place? Should he just open that way in the future with new people?
