"That's usually the nature of advice, I've found." The god's wings fluttered happily at the brief touch...and maybe a little out of relief. Maybe.
"Busy," he answered with a grin. "Everyone needs me for something these days, it seems. Adi's gone off on an adventure with the boy she likes, and I have a...visitor. So I've been a lot of things, I guess."

"Didn't Valentine's Day pass, not too long ago?" The only knowledge Tien had of the holiday came from Morgan. Most of those had been dull, except for the one spent with Crispin. "Oh...most parents would be worried about that. Hopefully things go over well for her." Adi seemed like a very nice girl, if the boy who won her heart didn't like her in return he was fool.
She smiled and studied Rio's expression at the mention of his 'visitor'. He hesitated a bit too when he used that word. "Mmm...must be someone important?"

"It did. I practically missed it," he admitted. He'd still been too worried at that point to notice what he otherwise would have. "Nn, it';s the adventure part that worries me more than anything." Adi could do what she wanted, as long as she didn't get hurt!
"You could say that." Rio smiled, clearly affectionate. "He is...a follower? But more than that."

She giggled at that. Of course Love would be worried about the actual dangers and not other things that might happen!
"Oh, really...?" She left it open ended, so he might share what he was willing to. His tone made her curious, but she wouldn't pry...much.

"Really." His cheeks flushed slightly, and he didn't immediately elaborate. "Not that my followers aren't usually...more than followers, or that I don't love them all. He's just...different, somehow."

"I do think that's the first time I've seen you blush. He really must be something special then."

"It happens from time to time," he deflected, sticking out his tongue a little. "But yes, he is."

"Well, I'm glad for you." She wouldn't press the subject anymore since he seemed a bit secretive about it.
"Your welcome to stay the night if you wish, I'm sure Asherah will be glad for the company." Just a little somewhat subtle teasing and to let him know that she knew what he had been up to with her aoide. Not that she cared overmuch, what they did on their own time was their business.

"I'd like that," he answered, grinning when she teased him. "That's what you get for leaving a pretty aoide all alone. Didn't you know that?"

She laughed and shook her head. No doubt Asherah wasn't the only aoidei who had fallen to Love's charms. "That I certainly did not; but, I am glad at least she has good taste."

"I'm pleased you think so." And that, apparently, she didn't mind. Some gods would have been very touchy about that, he imagined. "I'll try not to steal too much of her time."

With Asherah, stealing too much of her time wouldn't be an issue. She tended to not let anything drive her to distraction when there were things to be done. "Well, I won't deprive her of your company any further, Rio. Thank you again."
She slid off the couch and stretched. "If they ask, I'll come downstairs in the morning. Your welcome to share a meal with us in the morning too, if you like." Tien didn't know if he really needed to eat anymore, but the invitation was there none the less.

Rio chuckled merrily. Ah, he wasn't a difficult god to figure out at all, much of the time, and he knew it. He stood as well, and offered the goddess a little bow. "It would be my pleasure to do so."
He might not need to eat, but that never stopped him.

"Have a good night then and try not to be too loud, hn?" She really did try to look serious when she spoke but it was difficult.

"That is one area in which I can make no promises," he said with equal seriousness. As he headed back downstairs, though, he laughed.
