"There is nothing worse than hurting people whom are dear and special to you, not to mention others as well. Though they may deserve it, the injustice is only piled on more when you hurt them. Hurting someone normally is horrible to think about. The power to choose to hurt a person, is even worse."

Pinkie pouted and jumped down, sighing. "I was only helping you mister. And you don't have to be a butt about it, there's no rush anyway..." she mumbled, playing sadly with her with her hair as she walked outside. Pinkie's eyes widened and an idea struck her. She could run. Using her enhance to it's extent, she could probably get away. But then, her eyes widened when she thought over what she was thinking.

He trusted her to an extent, and here Pinkie was planning to run away, even after he could have injured her if he wished, and yet didn't lay a finger on her. Since when did Pinkie turn so bitter? Days ago, she would have probably listened to what the man said and not think twice about it, or linger on a order. Pinkie's brow furrowed and she sat on the swing in the yard, swinging slowly and sniffling a bit.

She had been on a swing when she first saw James. Then Pinkie Jerked up, James! She had forgot about him! Pinkie quickly raced to the door, her eyes widening when she saw half of the house a-flame.

Kurohebi Gekidoku

Kurohebi swaggered out the door of the burning cottage. "Let's go,now," he suggested in a very commanding tone, "We're going to meet up with my family, and then go see your new boss." Kurohebi began to walk away, and beckoned for the girl to follow him.

Pinkie's cheeks were red with anger and sadness and many other emotions she couldn't name, but she turned around to follow Kurohebi, wiping the endless flow of tears streaming down her face. "Y-You're a-ah h-horrible m-m-man.....w-what did.......h-hic! J-James e...e-ever d-do to you?" She sobbed out wiping her tears with both hands as she followed him. It was hard to see where she was going because she was crying so much.

Pinkie remembered how even her fake mother used to hold her hand while she cried. "Y-You're so e-e-evil.......i-i....h-h.....h-hate you......" She wanted to bury her head in this man's chest and cry, to cry away all her problems. Pinkie was still a child, that was inevitable. Her feelings were weak, and she was soft, and she would forever be soft. Of course she wanted comforting, she wanted to hold this mans hand and cry until all her problems were gone.

After a while of this endless crying, Pinkie finally broke down. She collapsed on the ground in tears, her cheeks almost tomato red from crying so much. "I-It i-i-isn't....f-fair........w......what did i e-ever do to d-deserve this? I-I was a good g-girl....i a-ate my vegetables.......b-but w-why this?" She mumbled out, hiccuping to a point where she almost couldn't breathe. Surely Kurohebi felt a tinge of guilt. He surely had a family, and even the most evil person in the world would feel bad for this girl if they thought about it.

She had lost literally everything. Her friend, and her parents, who weren't even real. And she was originally going to be sold for money, and now, she's going to an organization she knows nothing about, just so they could use her. Life was cruel, but Pinkie surely didn't deserve all this.

Pinkie knew Kurohebi was a cruel man. He had killed her parent's and burned her house without a second thought, but this man had to have a heart. A child was confused, and here she was lonely, crying her eyes out because she had lost absolutely everything. No one wouldn't feel bad about something like this.

OOC ~
Okay seriously, if this doesn't work, then i dunno what will. He has a kid for god's sake, he has to feel bad about what's happening to Pinkie. T^T

Kurohebi Gekidoku

Kurohebi smiled maliciously at Pinkie. "I'll take that as a compliment," he said. He didn't really feel any guilt, as he hadn't done anything wrong. Kurohebi hadn't killed the boy, and the girl's parents had deserved to die. As for the house which she had burned down, he was just covering his tracks. "Besides, it isn't up to you to decide what's right or wrong," Kurohebi added to the girl, who was complaining that she hadn't done anything to deserve her misfortune, and that it wasn't fair, "Life isn't fair. The sooner you learn that, the better." Kurohebi took the girl's arm, and continued talking. "Everyone has had something bad happen to them, most worse than this. Even your friend probably had some misfortune happen to him." He knew he was disobeying orders, but he genuinely was doing his best to comfort the girl. He really wasn't good at it, as he left the task of caring for his son to his wife, who was much less socially awkward than he was, and was better at telling people what they wanted to hear. "Now, then, let's go meet your new boss," Kurohebi said, eager to end the conversation.

Pinkie shook her head violently and bat his hand away harshly, turning around. "I hate you. You're inhuman. she mumbled turning away and trotting off in the other direction. She didn't even look back at him, she only walked and rubbed her eyes from the tearfulness they had in them.

Kurohebi Gekidoku

Kurohebi simply smiled and called back to Pinkie, "Now, Pinkie, think about it. Where can you go? Your house is burned down, your family is dead, and so is your friend. Furthermore, I've been ordered by my boss to bring you in. He never specified the condition that he wanted you in. Also, I don't intend to disappoint him." He extended his hand. "Don't make this difficult," Kurohebi spat.

Kurohebi Gekidoku

Kurohebi sighed. He'd hoped it wouldn't have to come to this, as his boss was a rather impatient man, and he would undoubtedly receive a "What took you so long?" when he delivered the girl. The girl's defiance wouldn't be a problem at all, not for him. He used his trance ability to cause the girl to lose any sense of balance that her young, uncoordinated body would have. If this worked, then the girl would fall flat on her face. Kurohebi knew that the trance would have an effect on the girl, as he had received a file about her before accepting the task of her retrieval. Kurohebi had read about all of the girl's strengths and weaknesses before undertaking this mission, and he knew that the girl was susceptable to trance. "As I said, you don't have a choice in this. WISE has had its eyes on you for a while, and has decided that they want your abilities. They will not take no for an answer," Kurohebi stated coldly. He strode over to the girl, not making any attempts to guard himself, as the file clearly stated that his target was a pacifist, and would not strike back at him. I'd imagine that as soon as she joins WISE, that over-emotional side will be the first thing that we get rid of, Kurohebi thought, The last thing that WISE needs is a pacifist. Leering down at the girl with cold yellow eyes, Kurohebi stood there silently. He eventually broke the silence with the words, "Are you going to come quietly, or are you going to make this difficult for yourself?"

As the man used his Trance powers on her, a feeling of complete disorientation overcame Pinkie. She felt a little dizzy at first, and as she took another step forward, it felt like all her balance was gone, and she suddenly felt as if the gravity on the earth increased somehow.

Pinkie face-planted into the ground with a small whimper, not even having time to at least put her hands out to provide some coverage from the fall. "O-Ouchie......." she sniffled out, getting up and rubbing her eyes and nose of dust and rock particles that were formerly on the pavement. All the while, she was still taking in all that this man was saying.

I wanna fight back, i want to......so badly.....but i'm too weak. She thought to herself, sniffling and wiping her eyes for tears that she felt were about to form. Pinkie knew she had to be strong, even with all the things that had already happened. His next words struck her like lightning.

"Are you going to come quietly, or are you going to make this difficult for yourself?" The first thing she thought of was what he currently just did to her. Pinkie didn't have too much knowledge on Psyren and the Psi abilities, but she had gone through enough to assume that what he used was Trance. All thoughts of escaping left her completely.

Pinkie wasn't as stupid as most made her out to be. She looked young and arrogant, that was obvious. Past events unfolded in her mind, and what formerly happened when she was in Psyren came back to her. The Tavoo that had attacked the small group she was in haunted her memories still. The Trance ability it had was by far advanced, and it made she and her group have illusions that were down-right maddening. Trance still haunted her to this day, and this man was able to use Trance. If a Tavoo could do that, the abilities of this man terrified her.

She had no idea who he was, she had no idea what his abilities were. She knew one thing and one thing only: This man was simply doing his job. And his job was to convince-- no, force her to join WISE, an organization she knew pretty much nothing about. So basically, Pinkie was screwed.

She could run, but she would probably be caught, and he would probably hurt her. Pinkie decided not to take her chances, and be a good little girl, and listen to this man. Perhaps it was the heat of the moment, Pinkie didn't know. But right now, she didn't want to die, and she didn't want to get hurt anymore.

Pinkie gave Kurohebi a small nod and managed to stand up, despite her lack of equilibrium. She looked up at the him, her face drenched in sadness, and defeat. In her eyes were depression, and self-loathing. Despite all this, she didn't break out crying, or even burst out into a fit.

Somewhere deep inside, where Pinkie wasn't scared half to death, she felt she accomplished something. Perhaps, being with this man, had developed more of her natural instincts? Pinkie didn't know, but it seemed like some small achievements that could better develop her well being could come from staying with this man, and perhaps even, joining WISE. A small beam of hope lighted up in both Pinkie's heart and mind. But of course,at this time, this was simply wishful thinking.

Kurohebi Gekidoku

The only reason that the girl was able to stand at the moment, Kurohebi knew, was because he had simply loosened the hold of his trance on her, partially restoring her balance enough for her to move on her own. The only reason that he did this was because he wanted to see if the girl would obey him or not. He didn't want to have to use more than the meager five percent of his power that he was using at the moment to restrain her. He didn't want to damage Pinkie more than was necessary, and he didn't want it to be necessary at all. Was this because he cared for the girl? One would have to be incredibly foolish and naive to even BEGIN to suspect such a thing. He simply knew that the girl- no, her powers- would prove to be useful to WISE, and they would be of no use if Kurohebi damaged the girl beyond repair. Besides that, Kurohebi knew that his boss, Gekijin Kyoudou, would be rather annoyed if he were to fail a simple task such as this, simply because the target had been scarred for life.

It was as a result of these reasons that Kurohebi was relatively glad that the girl showed signs of capitulation and defeat as she stood up. He knew that it would also make his boss quite irritable to be disturbed at this late hour of the night, and decided that it would be in his best interest to simply take the girl for his home to spend the evening. "Hey," he called to Pinkie in a much more understanding tone, "It's getting late. Perhaps we should go to my home for the night, and I'll introduce you to your new boss in the morning." Kurohebi extended his hand to the still unbalanced girl, considering all of the benefits that he could enjoy from inviting the girl to stay the night at his house. Sure, he mused, this girl is definitely a bit of a nuisance right now, but perhaps I can begin to mold her into a perfect agent for WISE over the night. Yes, that would be grand. I could commence with the eradication of the naive, childish pacifist that she is right now, and force her to start her transition into becoming a cold blooded assassin. Kurohebi continued to daydream as he awaited the girl's answer. Even if the boss is a bit inconvenienced by the tardiness of the delivery, he will undoubtedly be much more impressed with the girl after I start to work on her personality than if I were to simply hand her to him right now. Yeah, I may be looking at an invaluable opportunity for promotion. Kurohebi grinned at the last thought.

Kurohebi then decided that he would bring the girl to his home, whether she agreed to it or not. He used his already outstretched hand to grab the girl's, and began to lead her to his dwelling. As he walked, Kurohebi suddenly asked, "Tell me, do you hate me, girl?" This question was completely out of the blue, and would probably catch Pinkie off her guard. "Be sure that you answer truthfully, too," he added. Kurohebi's reasoning for the question was to make the girl angry at him. By the time that they would arrive at their stop, if everything went according to plan, the girl would be infuriated at Kurohebi, and he would use that to his advantage.

Pinkie's eyes widened as the man grabbed her hand. Had he finally developed some sense of emotion besides hate for her? As he grabbed her hand, all emotions of distrust, sadness and depression drained from her. She didn't know why, or even how, but even thought this man's goal was simply to use her, she felt safe holding his hand.

Pinkie gave a small nod to his statement about her staying the night at his home, she felt very blessed the man would do something like that for her.

The question of whether of not Pinkie hated the man came as a surprise to Pinkie. Pinkie sighed and gripped Kurohebi's hand a bit tighter, looking up at the tall man and giving a small smile. "The things you've done are really unforgivable. But everyone deserves a second chance. Was all Pinkie said, and with that she was gripping his hand lovingly and innocently, like the Pinkie you would have met yesterday would have done, despite all the events.

Kurohebi Gekidoku

Kurohebi cocked his eyebrow quizically when the girl told him that some people deserve second chances. After she finished he thought to himself, Surely she must be joking. However, the girl's serious expression told him otherwise. Regardless, he laughed rather cruelly at her statement. "Unbelieveable," he said, calming down, "I would have thought that you would have discovered that's not the case by now. Your own family tried to kidnap you and sell you for a quick buck. And I... I killed them, and your little friend, then burned your house down until nothing remained but ashes. So don't waste your forgiveness on people like myself, or them, or basically anyone else in the world. It would be nice if you were right, and that everyone truly does deserve a second chance. However, in reality, nobody deserves one." He ceased his bleak speeck when he looked down from atop the hill which he and the girl were standing on, and pointed out his house. "That's where we're headed," Kurohebi informed her. He began to slowly descend from the peak of the hill towards his house, quickly trying to whip up an excuse to tell his wife.

When Kurohebi and the girl neared the bottom, he noticed that the lights were off inside of the house. Perhaps nobody else is in? he wondered, strolling towards the front door. Kurohebi fished through his pocket for the front door key, and upon finding it, removed the key from his pocket and unlocked his door. Opening the door wide for the girl, he gestured with his arm for her to go first. He heard movement from up the stairs, and looked inside to see his son, Hannoki at the top of the stairs, and his wife, Kurogoke following close behind. Both of his family members were glancing at Pinkie quizically. He leaned over towards the girl, and whispered, "I'll let you introduce yourself to them." He showed the girl inside, and quickly closed the door behind them, locking it securely shut.
