Haydon eyed Ariyo's arm before looking back up at him. "Yeah, sure." she said after a moments hesitation but she did not take his arm as she started to walk next to him. "Funny how we keep running into each other." she said but didn't seem amused. She had a funny feeling about Ariyo always showing up unexpectedly, it was slightly unsettling to her. Though for some reason she seemed to be calmer around him, almost at peace. Haydon quickly shook the thought away as they walked. "So what brought you here to Balmore anyway?" she said trying to avoid awkward silences.

As soon as Adam was ready for school, Meg was there shoving things into his bag, books, snacks, an extra weapon for emergencies, strange colored potions, and all kinds of other things. "Meg, its school, not a battle field." Adam said with a raised brow. "The days are growing more and more dangerous, it wont be safe for much longer." she explained with a somber expression. "They will find us soon." she added with a sigh and looked at the boy standing before her. Adam pulled her into a small hug. "Then we'll be ready." he reassured her and let go with a small smile. Meg gave a small nod. "Yes we will." she agreed before spinning Adam around and kicking him in the rear. "Now off to school with you, you hooligan!" she called as he stumbled into the hall with a chuckle and headed out the door.

Haydon shook her head a little. "I don't like being inside, it feels like a cage." she explained with a far off look in her eyes. "Being outside provides more comfort to me than any building could. I feel safe out here." she said as she looked around just as Ariyo did, it was pretty here but living in its beauty for her entire life, Haydon was somewhat immune to it. But she had to admit she felt like something was different, like something was coming. Soon. Haydon would never let it show, but the stronger her strange feeling got the more tired and existed she felt. As if she was restraining herself or something. But she couldn't hid the rings under her eyes from sleepless nights.

Haydon glanced at him for a moment before nodding once. "I'm fine, just-" she caught herself before she spoke of her nightmares. "Just haven't gotten much sleep." she answered truthfully, leaving out the bad dreams part. She looked back at him when he suggested she may need a change of scenery, Haydon couldn't help but feel like there was something more to that suggestion than just what he said. Ariyo seemed to have a habit of doing that. "You did it again." she blurted before she could stop her self. Realizing that she had said it, she quickly shut her mouth and looked away.

Haydon looked back when he began to speak and she made a face that suggested she was entirely caught off guard. She let him finish before she reacted. "'You did it again' as in, you said something, but there was some deeper meaning to it other than just what you had originally said." she explained slowly, Haydon didn't know how to answer his other question. They had gotten to the school parking-lot now as she stopped. "Why me?" she asked. Why should she trust him? "Mr. Ariyo, I'm still uncertain on weather or not your just messing with me or not." she admitted, playfully addressing him as Mr. just as he always called her Miss. She would think that she was the last person anyone wanted to hang out with over the weekend. Ariyo was hard to read yet in another way not hard to read at all, it was all so confusing to her.

Once he made eye contact, Haydon couldn't look away, not even if she wished it. She couldn't even blink. Haydon now knew he wasn't messing with her, but that didn't mean he wasn't playing some sort of game. There was something else he wasn't telling her, but she would not pry at the subject. The situation became all to uncomfortable for Haydon. For a moment she could not speak at all. "I've only known you for a day and a quarter." she finally said before turning to walk to the front doors. "What time this weekend?" she called to him not bothering to turn around, she was suppressing a smile and she didn't feel like showing others that she was capable of producing a smile.

Haydon nodded when he gave her the time, the comment about picking her up at her house made her hesitate a little but she did not protest. Then when the boy spotter her face Haydon's smile disappeared but it was to late, Ariyo already saw the smile. Her face became a strange pink color as if she were embarrassed, the reaction almost seemed foreign on her face. Haydon was glad when Ariyo took a step back. "Yeah, see you in class." she agreed then shook his hand as a friend would shake your hand when saying goodbye.

Adam went to his locker as soon as he got to school but paused for a moment as he felt the presence of Ariyo and Haydon enter the school. He bit his lip before shoving some books into his bag, he knew if he spoke to Haydon that Meg would have his head. Adam just couldn't stand keeping this from Haydon, it was her life for god sakes! She had a right to know! He ran his fingers through his hair with a frustrated sigh.

Haydon had half a mind to roughly jerk her hand away from Ariyo but she didn't. She stood for a moment as she watched him walk off till the principal stepped into view and she gave a small groan. "Good morning sir." she said and gave an empty smile. Soon she was brought to the office to decide her punishment for skipping out on her detention yesterday and as she predicted she had another week of detention. She was to tired to argue with anyone at the moment and the adults had noticed. "Are you ok Miss. Green?" someone finally asked truly concerned for her, normally she barked back at them and argued to all ends but today she just sat silently with a blank expression. Haydon waved their questions away and stood. "See you after school then." she nodded and began to exit the office.

Adam turned to Ariyo, his bright green eyes had dark rings under them. "No." Adam shook his head, though it was clear that he did want to tell Ariyo, he didn't know if that was the best idea though. He slammed his locker angrily before turning back to the boy. "Yes, the roof sounds like a good place to talk." he changed his mind and began to walk. He couldn't keep this to himself anymore, it was torturing him inside.

Adam looked to the other boy with an exhausted face, he attempted to rub the tiredness from his heavy eyelids before he spoke in a firm voice. "Haydon." he said. "She cannot know any of this. What is said here and now is not to be repeated." he warned. "Not yet." he added tiredly. He didn't know how much he could trust in telling Ariyo, so he would just start with the basics. But he wouldn't say another word until Ariyo agreed to keep this conversation secret.

Haydon must have looked horrible, how could she have gotten worse in just five or ten minutes? She knew she looked bad because the nurse stopped her before she left the office and dragged the green eyed girl to the infirmary. Sitting in the small room, Haydon then became sick to her stomach, she didn't like close spaces. This only made the nurse insist that she stay there for part of the morning before she went to make a phone call.
