He remembered her! She gave him a bit of a smile in return. "It's just Mitzi. And yeah, I've been doing all right since then," she replied. "So you got back to your room okay? You'd looked pretty ill, Christmas." She couldn't think of anything else to say, and now that she'd brought it up wasn't all that interested in mentioning that day again.

Christmas now seemed so long ago, but she still seemed concerned, which was rather nice. "I did indeed, thank you for your concern. I...I was fine after I returned to my room. I just needed some time to rest up."

But he was eyeing what Miss Taryn was eating even as he answered. "Oh, I did not realize. There was sausage where I grew up, but it...did not look like that." Pizza? Yeah, he had never encountered it up close.

...well then! Taryn chewed a bit slowly, staring at Yin in something like shock. Right. Never had pizza.

"Well, no, I mean... this stuff is sausage," she explained, pointing out the little brown bits, "and this is pizza." The ghoul bounced her slice a bit and smiled. "Bread with sauce and cheese and... meat or veggies or... I mean, basically it's horribly unhealthy, delicious food."

Actually...

The chimera went to the pizza boxes, watched Roch go with a little frown, then smiled again and returned with a plate for Yin. He looked carnivorous. Sausage it was.

"Here!"

Well, that made a little more sense. He cringed a bit at the idea of vegetables. Non-meat food products? Not his thing.

He was slightly distracted that Miss Taryn was leaving, and when he glanced up he noticed that Roch was leaving. That Roch was stealing. And well, doing a rather poor job of it. He might have went after the boil but Miss Taryn was back, and handing him a plate. He was glad that there were no blatant vegetables, but he really was not sure that he wanted to try it. Still...she had gotten it just for him.

"Thank you Miss Taryn," he said accepting it. He really was not hungry. Not today. He glanced over at Miss Mitzi. "I suppose we shall both discover it today," and with that he picked it up, trying to mimic how he had seen others holding it. He took a bite, just a small one. And it was weird. But overlaying the unusual flavors was the taste of meat, making it all palpable. "It is...interesting," he offered, once he had finished with his bite. And then he took another bite, just to see if it changed his opinion of it.

Mitzi held up the piece she was already eating. "It's pretty good. Although I'm hungry, and that might make a difference," she joked. "Oh, uh, just cheese, I think." She looked down at the piece she was eating, which she hadn't even thought about what was on it. She didn't have a clue what the round dark pink things on it were, besides meat. "Or another of these?"

Finishing up her first piece, she suddenly remembered why she'd been wandering around the demon dorms in the first place. "Oh, Yin, do you have any clue where that zomboil we were with on Christmas might be? I think his name was Alex... I've been trying to find him for a couple weeks now, and haven't been able to track him down."

Yin was politely eating the slice of pizza, disturbed by the texture more than anything, but having enough meat and the juices from the meat seeped into the rest to make it substantially better than some other foods. It was more...on par with candy. Edible, but not his cup of tea. Though a cup of tea did sound fairly nice at the moment.

He had just taken another bite when Miss Mitzi addressed him. Zomboil? He could almost feel the blood draining from his face and he gulped, sending the bite in his mouth down the wrong pipe. He began coughing, trying not to choke and then cleared his throat before he could answer her. "Alexander?" he said, a bit shakily. "I actually do not know where he is this week." Well, that was oddly specific and probably sounded weird. "Um, he is in the library fairly often."

He began glancing around just a touch anxiously. A subject change. That would be nice. A subject change. Something not about Alexander. Not now. Not here. "Is buffalo a type of meat Miss Taryn? Perhaps I could try a piece of that?"

As Yin started to cough, Mitzi slapped him on the back. That's what you did when someone was choking, right? Well, that question went spectacularly wrong. She didn't know what was up between the two boils, but whatever it was, she probably didn't want to get involved in it. At least it gave her somewhere to look, she hadn't considered the library before.

"Oh, I'm Mitzi. And you are...?" she answered the not-really-spoken question. She took the new piece of pizza, which was lacking in the reddish-pink meat circles, and tried it. "Thanks."
