Ariyoul gave yet another harsh laugh at Aeolus' idea. He didn't care who he fought. They were all the same to him.

"'His true psych,' you say? That interests me..."

The tech looked at Fable reluctantly, then at his partner before turning back to Aeolus.

"I misunderstand your words, and I probably always will. There isn't anything in my interest for your sayings. I am indeed one with intellect, but I will always mistake one's words for something else."

Once again, Ariyoul laughed. "Haa... How I wish the violence in my head would sprout."


Kirei looked at Fable with a smile. "Aeolus was a pleasure to talk to. Your partner? He was interesting, yes."

He stood up, brushing off his kimono before sitting back down. "For me, there's no real purpose for me to fight. I can live without emotions. My partner can live without the knowledge of technology. But judging by your actions, it'll be difficult for you to give up your entry fee. I felt the same with Aeolus. That's probably the same for everyone - unable to give up the thing they love most."

The dancer chuckled. "I don't need another chance at life. I don't want it. Sometimes, playing this Game is fun, this detour is already exciting. I no longer need a reason to live. I wonder if I can ever live beyond the Game?"

"Ah... A hider," Ariyoul murmured, gripping his favorite JotM pin, Yoshimitu., and smiling faintly. He was still sore from his burning, but it wasn't serious - it was very mild, gave him the comfort of pain, and woke him up to the realization he was actually in combat.

He brushed off his jacket deliriously and asked, "You play poker? I've been known to be a good gambler... It's virtually impossible, but I get royal straight flushes all the time. Never have I gotten lower than a four of a kind."

The tech laughed with amusement, waiting for his opponent to appear again.


Kirei looked at Fable with confusion. Why wouldn't he respond? It was true he sounded strange with his sadistic-ness, but...

"That much of a let down?"

Ariyoul felt the fist slam into his face. His head facing the direction he was struck, he began to laugh once more, almost like a lunatic.

"Was that supposed to hurt?"

He turned his gaze slowly to Aeolus and simpered darkly. "I suppose that air isn't the greatest thing to control. That felt familiar."

Swiftly, Ariyoul moved out of the steel stop sign's way and looked in Kirei, his anger diminishing. With a smile, he asked coldly, "The hell was that?"

"You'll get tired soon. Let me take over when you do," he replied cheerfully.

The dancer shifted and explained, "I kept calling you and you wouldn't reply."

"Well then, I'm sorry for being in the middle of combat, thank you."

Kirei tried to track where Aeolus was moving. His voice when he spoke was distorted, but understandable. He said mortals couldn't see him. Techinically... weren't they all dead?

Ariyoul had watched Aeolus abduct Kirei without a care - but if the dancer died, then he would too.

Quickly, he shoved past Fable and fired a Lightning Rook. The familiar cobalt bolt collided with something - he knew it hit something, or why else would it vanish with a flourish?

"Hehe," Kirei giggled. "This reminds me of when I was little."

He moved his arms upward, his fingers moving to the west. He was dancing in spite of the fact he was being spun sporadically. A jolt of electricity ran through his body, lightning crackling in his fingertips.

In a cautious movement, he let the lightning burst through his body, making sharp contact with the windy male as far as he knew. He flipped, spiraling in the direction Aeolus insisted, and leapt toward a ledge near the ceiling, gripping the pole as the two spun, staggering to stand on it. He stood with an elegant composure after he gained his balance.

"Here's my 'Waltz of the Blizzard♥'"

With a gentle step on the pole, swishing gently across with his skillful balance, the ground burst into stalacites, stalagmites, and icicles, all covered in ice. A freezing gale whispered across Rubicon.

"That's my other psych. Dancing. The style changes the psych.

"This is the Kyomai style. Please enjoy my performance♥"

With the last remark, he spun and executed the action, what he had spent years learning - perfecting and glorifying.

"Ah!"

The tech saw Aeolus' sudden, bloodthirsty version of himself, the realization of the windy male's window striking him suddenly as Kirei collided into him. The dancer whined a bit, a small amount of blood staining his kimono. He bit his lip, pouting about his pretty dancng uniform as he flipped himself off the tech. He executed another dance, a random one with no point - a test to see if his limbs were mortally injured. Satisfying himself that all his parts were in check, he whispered something undetectable then moved accordingly. Ariyoul watched him, recognizing the style, and extended his arm, laughing with the same hysteria a lunatic had - an insanity uncontrolled, a bloodlust free to roam.

"Haha... It seems your partner is not yet dead, I believe. There's always that slight chance that the war is over. Of course, no one believes it to be so - the war continues on and on until all blood is spilled and the corpses littering the battlefield. Ah. That image..."

The tech blinked as an image flickered in his mind. With the picture still clicking into place in his memory, he reached into his back pocket to feel something cold.


Kirei laughed like an innocent child, ecstatic and joyous. "I'm glad it hurt. Because that windy blade hurt too," he murmured cheerfully, stepping in time with his fantasized rhythm.

"This is the dance of Noh Mai style, my 'Elegy of the Lightning♥' and I wish you the best of satisfaction as it is performed, so enjoy ~ Please enjoy♥"

With a bright smile, he gave a lovely spin on his heel and began to execute the dance. In a small while, a whistling whisked past Ariyoul, his hair flying up in random, uncontrolled directions. In a fumble, he pulled his hood up, glancing at Fable, and moved backwards as a lightning bolt aimed itself in the direction of Kirei's fingers.

The fingers were pointed at Fable, and a bolt of lightning flickered to life, bolting unreasonably wingedly toward him.
