Berta mooed at her and said. "Quiet b***h i'm just being friendly." she sighed softly and pulled her books out of her bag. Kai smiled and snuggled up against Katie. "Poor Kai you couldn't see what was in front of you so you had to order a dumb human b***h off the internet. i heard she dropped out because she just didn't like school. you too stupid for school b***h?" Berta snarled angrily. Kai stood and said "ENOUGH! Leave Kate alone Berta i dont have any romantic feelings for you. if i have to stop being nice t you to get you to stop harrassing Katie then i will do it. the reason i like katie is we have things in common. the only thing you and i have in common is that our moms both worked for the school." he calmed down and sat back down. Izzy clapped and everyone else began to join in. Berta started to tear up. she stood and walked up to them and kneeling she kissed Kai on the forehead and kissed Luna on the cheek. "Sorry. it's just i don't have many friends i thought you were just shy and still sad about what happened to our parents.i was only being playful. but now you have someone and i don't." Kai took his handkerchief from his pocket and wiped her eyes.

Kai grabbed their things and chased after her giving izzy a look that meant 'tell teach i got sick' he grabbed Katie as she ran off and said. "Come dearie let's get you home." he kissed her n the lips and picked her up and carried her to their dorm. he placed her in his bed and said. "I'm gonna make you some tea i'll be right back." he threw their bags on the floor of the room and went to make her some tea.

"No it's okay Izzy will get my homework for me. now just lay down for a little while and i'll make lunch." he said sweetly to her as he put her tea on the nightstand. he left her to herself and went to the living room and curled up at the table turning the heater on to keep him warm.

Kai looked up and saw her leaving. he got up and grabbed her. "Don't ever leave without me. you could get in trouble. if you want to apologize it's okay i have another class with her right now. let's get moving then." he went inside and grabbed their bags. he handed Katie her bag and walked off out to the school with her.

Kai led her to his next class. meditation. he liked the calmness of this class because he could lay down and think without having t respond to anything. he grabbed one of the big tatami mats and placed it on the ground. he laid down and let Kate sit beside him. then Berta came in and pulled a mat beside them. she smiled at them and lay down her large bust jutting straight up. Kai pushed Kate forward and said "Well go for it already." he pulled out an ipod and put the buds in his ears and closed his eyes.

Berta smiled and kissed her on the cheek. "It's okay sweetheart. Kai doesn't talk about his past. the reason our parents died was because my dad was drunk and he rammed into a tree." she whispered quietly so kai wouldn't hear them. "Now please take care of him. i only played because we were like brother and sister as children and we hung out all the time. but ever since our parents died last year he's become very sullen and depressed." she hugged Katie and smiled softly. she laid down and kai looked up noticing they were done talking.

The teacher smiled and nodded. she wasn't really talking it was the computer on her desk. the teacher Miss Moritaki was a mute. although unable to speak this was her favorite thing to do. Teach. she loved being able to give children knowledge to their future. Kai whispered. "Miss M is a mute Katie please be nice and just relax. if you talk back again i will give to punish you. you know i don't want to do that." he kissed her on the cheek and sat up looking at the teacher as she signed about different types of relaxation.

"That's one of the things i like about you dear. i know questioning everything is a great way to learn but try not to sound like a smartass when you say it." he said sweetly to her kissing her on the cheek. "she said hello everyone i hope your weekend was as good as mine was. i would like to say hello to our new friend in class Kai's new pet. what's her name kai?" he smiled and signed back. -Her name is Katie- Miss Moritaki smiled and gave katie a little wave and sat back down.
