Freakshow is caught off guard with the enziguri like move! His body stiffens up like a board, before he tips forward and goes staggering towards the ring ropes. After a few steps he loses his footing and goes right through the top and middle rope. He hits the apron rear first, before dropping to the ringside area.

Now on the outside of the ring, he leans, slumped up against the side of the ring.. Clutching at the top of his head with one hand, the other inconspicuously under the banner..

Freak feels a throbbing pain in the back of his head. The fans are buzzing, and he isn't in the right mind to know why. He clenches his eyes shut, opens them up again and has a moment of clarity. The champion looks up towards the titantron he was facing and squinting, he see's his opponent closing in on him from the inside of the ring.

He clenches his hand around something underneath the ring. He feels Landry grab a handful of his pale blonde hair, "Ack!" This is when he slides the object of his choice out into the open. He grabs it with both hands, and blindly swings up and backwards at The Innovator for a wild chairshot.

Freakshow uses the chair as a crutch to get to a semi-standing position. He turns his head and see's Landry on his back in the middle of the ring. For nearly the first time in the match, he was now in control. This feeling of control was clear on the face of the wild-eyed new yorker. Acting with an air of urgency, panic even, Freak slides the weapon into the ring, before rolling in after it.

Beaten and battered, the champ frantically claws towards The Innovator! He throws himself ontop of the downed opponent, and hooks both legs deep for an airtight pin. "Count! Count!" He yells at the official, his voice hoarse.

Freak bobs his head with the count, his teeth gritted, what he needed was just three seconds away.. But It wasn't to be. Landry powers out of the pinning predicament. Freakshow shoots up into a sitting position, he clutches at his hair, mouth agape in shock. He looks back at the challenger, then at the ref whom he stares daggers into. The champion turns onto a knee, then places the tips of his fingers against the ground to push himself back up.

Still reeling from the a** kicking administered up to this point, he has a bit of trouble staying up. He totters and wobbles backwards like a drunk. The champ manages to catch himself, he hooks his arms around the ropes, then wipes at his nose with his wrist tape.. Then leans over to pick his chair up from off the ground. Here he stays to focus on his breathing, clear his head, and most importantly, stalk the wounded competitor.

Freakshow hobbles near Landry, dragging the chair against the mat behind him. He grabs it by both handles and hoists it up! A few younger fans and women gasp! He brings it down, but not in the way that anyone expected him to. Instead, he opens it up and places the weapon near The Innovator, as if he were about to take a seat.

Following up, Freak would stand over Landry, who'd just rolled over.. He lets Mike start to get up. He points "Is this who you want as CHAMP?!" Once the challenger was about halfway to his feet, Freak would lean over and try to grab him in a cravate. Using the british submission maneuver as a means of guiding him the rest of the way up. A product of Freaks extensive, but rarely applied, knowledge of lancashire chain wrestling..

"Ooooh yeah!" Freakshow yells as he locks the hold on Landry, "I can swing chairs!" They both reach there feet, "And I can do SUBMISSIONS!-" Freak grunts to the audience with infinite self satisfaction, then drops to his knee to try snapmaring the opponent close to the chair he'd set up earlier!

"I can go BOTH ways!"

Freak lets everyone know, referring to what he believed was, his versatile wrestling ability. He moves into position behind Landry... Then takes a seat right in the chair. Was it to take a relaxing break? Maybe just a little bit. But his primary goal was to wear down the opponent. He rubs his hands together, cracks his knuckles, pops his neck, then leans over to slap on a rear chinlock from his sitting position.

"Technical wizard, baby!"

Freak continues to crank on the hold, getting a good amount of leverage considering he had the aid of the chair. The fans begin to clap in unison, trying to will the challenger up to his feet. "Stop it!" Freakshow snaps at the audience, knowing how valuable their support was to Landry "Shut up!" Ironically, this only made them clap harder.
