Well this was just general craziness. She stepped away from the group and scooped a fourth ball out of the bowl. Another white one, drat. Oh well, Michi tucked a pale strand of smoke behind an ear and looked around for a way out or something to do. Instead of saying anything else she just stood by Alex. Mort was speaking to the smaller zombie and all in all Michi didn't know what to do next. She stood there, and waited.

There was quite a crowd in here, actually! Siddie was a little surprised - were all these people interested in fashion, or was it a result of the offer of a minipet? Not that she didn't like minipets, but the main draw, for her, were the dresses. She made her way carefully through the crowd up to the table and smiled brightly at the ghouls sitting behind it. "I checked out your weblog," she offered. "Your creations are just beautiful. Are they all one-of-a-kind?"

She paused to fish a ball out of the bowl, not even looking at it; it took her an extra moment to notice that it was purple. "Oh!"

It was with some measure of relief that Alex found his knee free of the small female zombies attentive nommings. He looked down at the small ghoul with more then a little amusement glittering in his eyes. She hadn't hurt him or anything, just weirded him out slightly.

"Well I...guess I'll take that as a compliment, then!" He replied to her comment about his knee being tasty.

"I'm Alexander." He reached out a hand towards the zombghoul, all the while thinking this was perhaps one of the most awkward ways to possibly meet somebody new. "Just...try to curb those cravings of yours around my knee's, ok? I'm not sure how much chewing on this one can take." He chuckled, while patting his skeletal leg with his free hand. The damned thing was often giving him some amount of trouble.

He watched as Michi attempted again to fish out the purple ball and failed, and with a shrug decided to give it one last go. To his surprise, when he pulled his hand out again, it was with a purple ball in it's grasp.

"Oh hey, maybe you're good luck!" He said down to the zombie ghoul with a large grin spread across his face.

He then turned his attention towards Mort. "So, what brings you here? Looking for some new clothes?"

"You can call me Ulmuka. Or just Muka is fine." The strix snickered. He'd usually take a ghouls hand but it was a bit crowded for that. "I tend to stick with a common color pallete but I hope the pink can perhaps mix it up a bit."

The strix glanced around for a pen and paper and took the opportunity to write down his phone number and his measurements (which he seemed to already know). He passed them across the table to her. "I hope perhaps we can talk before Scarentines!"

He took the opportunity to try again for a prize. "Hee!" A winning number!

"Oh~h, thank you!" Siddie accepted the minipet egg and tucked it carefully into her bodice. "I'll take good care of it. I'm Siddie," she smiled. "I don't think we've met properly before. Um - I hope you don't mind me hanging around, I just love your style."

Some students would find a minipet egg in a box outside their room a few days later, together with a note with 'Thank you for your support!' on it.
