Lucia watched as Steven.. Or Stephen? Commenced in having a conversation with himself, then looked at her. He said he played to rough, then continued to repeat 'too rough' a few times. Lucia tilted her head, as though confused about what he said. Played too rough? She wasn't exactly sure what he meant by it. It could mean a few different things. Then he said it:"She was screaming... I made her stop. I made it all stop. Made it all stop." He made her screaming stop. Made all of something stop.

He killed somebody.

This, however, didn't frighten Lucia. But instead, intrigued her. Who, and why? That is why he was there, perhaps? Rather than growing fearful, she nodded in response to what he said. Yes, he made it stop. Hearing a muffle, she turned to Veronica, who was now rolled on her side. Her eyes then went to Jonathan, who was now leaning against a corner of the room. Her eyes slowly drifted to the floor.

Suddenly, a sharp, high pitched sound broke through the air, bringing Lucia's badly damaged hands to meet her ears while her eyes closed tightly. Slowly, when a voice began to speak, she removed her hands. She shuddered at the words, and took a look at everyone else. Sure, she wasn't a fan of people, but she was no coward, and didn't plan on looking like one. She also wouldn't want any of them going through whatever these doctors were planning. With a sigh, she shakily stood, and walked to the door. Her face was void of emotion while she waited for something to happen. Sure, she didn't want to go, but someone had to. Better than them getting fed up and playing twisted games with all of them.

Steven grimaced at the loud noise, but he uncovered his ears to listen a
moment before he looked as Lucia walked over to the door to volunteer. He
tilted his head further, trying to understand why she would put herself into the
vulnerable position when she had been there much longer than he had. It
seemed logical that he should be the one to get medication of some sort, but
Steven was afraid of needles and did not wish to go.

Stephen was urging him to take Lucia's place. With shaking hands, Steven
pulled himself up out of the corner and walked over to Lucia. "S-Stephen
wants the medicine..."
he said as he twiddled his fingers, "B-been here three
days... I sh-should go."
The poor child-like Steven was trying to be brave but
it wasn't working very well at the moment.

Hearing sounds around her, Lucia turned, looking from person to person in the cell. A girl she hadn't noticed before, likely because she was apparently trying to hide from everybody, was just sort of huddled to herself. She seemed to be shivering under a blanket. Was she scared of them all? Quite possibly. Or it was the doctors she was afraid of. If she was scared of either, or both, she wouldn't be surprised. They were in an institution, after all.

What did surprise her, however, was the origin of the sounds she had heard. Steven -- or Stephen? -- was walking up to her shakily, twiddling his fingers. He spoke up in a shaky voice, and was almost child like as she did so. Lucia looked up at the male, tilting her head slightly, then made a slight shake of her head. He seemed to be only a bit older than her, especially when he was up close, but his child-like composure made her feel the need to refuse. She disliked seeing fear in others, despite the fact she wasn't a very much of a people-person.

Slowly, her eyes drifted from person to person in the cell. She wasn't sure of Veronica's or Jonathan's course of action yet, but it was clear the covered one didn't plan on moving. "Stay with them," she said in a soft, hushed voice. Almost in a calming way. "I've been here longer. I am.. More used to it," she said in the same tone. It was difficult for her to talk this much, considering she wasn't much of a speaker.

Sure, the male may be.. 'Crazier' than her? Well, who is to even say that? No one really knew who was crazy, and who wasn't. It was the doctors who were crazy. Even if this male had something wrong with him, the Doctors would only make it worse. Because that's what these particular doctors did here.. Wasn't it? All they did on them was experiments.. Right? Continuous questions on the subject within her mind began to confuse her, so she just made them stop.

Veronica began talking in her sleep. Strange since speaking no longer came easy to her. "Remember what you did to Marni" she muttered with an unusually cold tone. Her eyes suddenly opened up. "Please don't take me back there" she muttered before sitting up

"assassin, murderer, monster... Her dad's voice echoed though she head. Veronica growled at the voice that no one else could hear. "You killed Marni... what right do you have to be happy... someone like you should stay in the darkness" Veronica growled again, "Shut it" she spoke to the voice in her head. "I don't want to hear that" she said even though it seemed as if her voice was about to break.

Steven nodded as Lucia's insistance that he stay, and managed a small
smile in thanks before he went back to sit down. He seemed rather put-off by
Veronica's outbursts and pursed his lips as he fought not to say anything.
He finally seemed to notice the small girl in the other corner and he tilted his
head to the side slightly. It didn't seem like anyone was talking to her, and
he went to change directions and sit over near her. Not within reach, but
close enough for his liking.

"Why are you shaking?" he asked softly.

The young woman groaned as she awoke, missing the announcement. Her arms slid up from her sleeping position to reach for the cieling in a stretch, ending a yawn by letting out a pleasant sigh as she felt the tension melt away. She looked around with her rich brown eyes and took note of the others in the big cell along with her. There was a boy conferring with a girl, and another girl by herself off to one side. Cael pursed her lips before blowing out a wispy breath.

She absently wondered if the injectionshad taken place already, without her involvement. Oh, that would be lovely. But it was an idiotic hope. Just the thought of the hypodermic sliding beneath her skin and nestling intself right in alongside her cells was terrifying, sending chills across her body and making her shudder. She felt lightheaded and swallowed a forming lump in her throat.
Great. I'm already panicking. Gracious. This needs to stop.
She combed out the tangles in her hair and smiled, imagining that she looked at least presentable. It was difficult to make sure due to lack of mirrors
................brokenglass
..........................weapons
...................................escape
.......................................yesplease

Cael shook her foolish head. Thoughts like that visited her often. How long had she been here? In all that time nobody had even tried to escape. The doctors knew what they were doing. She hadn't seen daylight in what felt like forever. And it hurt. She missed that warmth.

That's nothing new. Anywho,
She looked to her new cellmates finally, having been with them for very little time, and decided she'd try learning names. If they couldn't escape this hellhole, maybe they could wallow in their miseries together.
Sounds like a plan, no?

Ivy could hear the other patients conversing quietly behind her, no doubt they were discussing the previously announced message. Exactly why the girl chose to keep to herself, you never knew who to trust in this place, this was a lesson that she had learned quickly. Even the other patients would have to betray one another in order to satisfy the doctors, the staff were doing this on purpose. Without hope of escape eventually they would be broken.. Prefect play things for the doctors to entertain themselves with. Ivy was scared, terrified even of continuing to live in this place. The girl had been there for almost a month and she had scarcely moved except for the necessities. She couldn't afford to be seen or socialize with the others, she wouldn't be betrayed again. Betrayal was not something she could deal with again, she couldn't afford to have her spirit broken. For now Ivy would rely on those she knew she trusted, her plants and herself..

Ivy lost in the world of her wind scarcely heard the approaching footsteps until they were upon her. The male voice, whatever distance it was made the girl tense up, her entire body seemed to freeze as her head swung around. Amidst a curtain of pink dyed hair all one could see of her face was her eyes, which were wide and full of terror. Her fist tightened around the leaf as if to draw comfort from it. Still curled up in the blanket the girl attempted to press herself farther into the corner of the cell, her breathing seeming to pause, her eyes watching the boy as if he were some kind of danger. Because of his soft voice most wouldn't connect the boy with such a thing, but Ivy was differn't. Everyone was her enemy..

Honestly even if the girl had wanted to answer the boy's question she would have known how. Why was she shaking? Was it from Cold? Fear? Most likely from the latter yet it was something she didn't care to explain. Why did she fear if this was her life now? No one feared the normal and this cell now was the normal. Perhaps it was just hope, as long as she knew her place wasn't hear fear would still take her.. If she didn't succumb to the doctors will than fear was a good thing.

(( Hope it's okay if I CHOOSE YOU /lol pokemon, as my first contender!))

The door opened and a burly man stood in the doorframe wearing a gasmask, awaiting orders. "Ma'am, one of the doctors has encouraged you as a patient to come and take the VV to sedate you so you do not become so sad. Come with me or else I will use brute force. I am the single champion of the UFC and all other heavyweight championships, so do not mince your actions." the burly man approached the women from her cornered cell, and as he walked the door closed by itself, and a sleeping endorphin entered the room. He grabbed the woman with both arms, picking her up by her biceps and carried her over his shoulder as he exited the room.

Another giggle came from the woman, as she watched the liquid in the syringe flow left and right, a soothing zen element, was it not? The burly man entered the room and plopped the woman onto a gurney, and strapped her down with leather attaching to the gurney as to not let the patient escape. He nodded to the woman who smiled happily, "thank you Boris! You can go have your donuts now!" the man nodded again and left the room as Merilyn looked Lucia in the eye and cackled, "why aren't you quite the dark one! Your eyes suggests a deep and vast space of ice does it not? Anyway, in order to liven you up a bit, don't mind what Boris says, he's usually a bit sedated with all the cookies and tea I've been offering him. Hee hee! Anyway, like I said, this purple liquid in this syringe will make you a peppy person! Maybe then we can find a way why you're so...well...insane!" A bright and childish smile came as Merilyn picked up the syringed and pulled up Lucia's sleeve. "Now now, just think of ponies and unicorns or something!" And at last the purple liquid was injected into her bloodstream. She unlatched the straps of the girl's bed and led her by the hand back to the cell and left her standing at the doorframe inside, her expression blank for the moment. "Now you delightful children, make Lucia feel welcome!" A slam of the door did not seem so friendly now.

Crawling through this world as disease flows through my veins

Lucia cocked her head slightly, hearing Veronica speak. Was she talking to herself too? The male, Steven, then nodded, and Lucia's eyes drifted away and locked on the floor of the cell. "Good," she thought to herself. She wouldn't have been able to bear watching another of the 'patients' in here be taken away to endure pain, or possibly torture. She still didn't understand how her family had done it so long ago. Her eyes closed tightly, preparing herself for the worst.

Suddenly, the door opened, bringing her eyes to flash open and lock onto the burly-man's gas masked face. Her eyes were wide and wild with a mix of shock and fear. Somehow, however, she managed to register what he had to say. At least, most of it. They were going to 'sedate' her so she wouldn't be so 'sad.' If she struggled or refused, she'd basically be broken. Every instinct she had was screaming at her, telling her to run and find an exit, but who knew where any of them could be? The whole bloody institution was a labyrinth.

Next she knew, a tight grip locked around her upper arms, and a yelp-like sound escaped her. She was raised and carried over his shoulder while he left the room. Lucia's eyes closed tightly as her arms felt as though his grip was creating bruises by the second.

Next she knew, she was on a gourney and strapped down before she could even attempt getting up. Her breath quickened, and she looked up at the doctor who was holding a syringe, the purple fluid within. She cackled upon meeting her eyes. She was referred to as dark, but it barely phased her. Instead, she immediately began to struggle at the sight of the purple fluid, but it was no use. Was she afraid of needles? Not in the slightest. But the purple fluid within a large syringe like that was terrifying to her now. Lucia's sleeve was pulled up, and she was told to think of ponies or unicorns. She couldn't help but allow her eyes to narrow. But, then, they closed tightly once again, pain starting when the metal stabbed through her flesh at a point, and sent pain up and down her arm, then throughout her body as a whole.

The pain left her in almost a type of daze; she didn't realize she was unlatched, and was soon being led by the hand to the very same cell she had earlier been in. She was left standing in the doorway, but words spoken by the 'doctor' in that moment sounded as though she was speaking a different language. Nothing was making sense. But as the door slammed, Lucia fell to her knees on the floor of the cushioned cell, and a second later, onto her side in a curled-up position. Some of her long, raven-black hair had fallen over her face, concealing her, again, tightly closed eyes. Blood trickled from where the purple serum had gone into her, sleeve still up her arm.

"Lucia. LUCIA. You are allowing yourself to look weak. GET UP," a voice in her head said. But whether or not she made an effort, she wouldn't have been able to get up. Pain surged through her like wildfire. "You are going to regret this, Lucia. Get up. We are going to look feeble because of you," the voice within her mind spoke again. "We," she repeated mentally, but no. She didn't rise. She didn't even look up or acknowledge the others in the room. Instead, she began giggling quietly to herself. So clearly, there was, and is another side to her. One that had just fully revealed itself to her. Her giggling continued, and the pain slowly faded.

Her arms placed themselves over her stomach, and the giggling stopped. However, the grin on her face remained, and her eyes remained closed, but relaxed. "We share a mind," she thought to herself, and began giggling again.

Steven blinked with his bright blue eyes as he waited for a response, but
when he was fairly ignored by the scared girl in the corner, he moved up to
leave. No use trying to have a conversation with someone who wasn't going
to talk to you. He saw Lucia come back, and tilted his head to the side
inquisitively as she began to laugh and giggle.

What did they do to her?
I don't know, but it looks like fun! Steven's eyes
lit up slightly, seeing this as a sign that everything would be okay. He walked
over to Lucia curled up on the ground, still laughing, and helped her to sit up
against the wall, smiling at her as he did so. He sat beside her afterwards,
though leaving a small distance between them.

"What's so funny?" he asked, wanting to understand.

As Ivy proceeded to remain in her panicked state he boy turned away in silence, either getting the memo that she didn't want him around or taking her silence as rudeness. Both scenario's worked out well in Ivy's standpoint as the boy moved away, her body relaxing ever so slightly and sagging into the wall. However when an unidentifiable man came bursting into the room the girls breath caught and with widened eyes she hid until his large boom footsteps disappeared down the hall, along with the yelps of a dark haired girl. Ivy herself was almost filled with relief in knowing that she wasn't the victim yet she couldn't help but feel a small twinge of compassion for the girl being forcefully brought out. Despite her distrust the fate that the doctors brought down on their victims were never pleasant. Now huddled in her corner again the girl let out a shaky breath, opening her palm to stare at the leaf. She would get out right?

Several moments of silence passed within the cell until the door clicked open once more, one of the doctors bidding them to make Lucia feel welcome. Ivy did not yet turn, though without even looking she knew Lucia was the girl who had been taken. As the door finally slammed closed with bone jarring force the girl's head had turned ever so slightly to eye the girl who had been brought back in. Her body seemed to simple collapse in on itself, leaving the girl sprawled unceremoniously on the padded floor. Her long dark hair was strewn over her face blocking all of Lucia's facial expressions from view. The other girl now curled up the silence continued, a hooded Ivy watching on with wide eyes. Scarlet had begun to bloom on one of the girls thrown arms, staining her pale skin a rusty colour as the thick liquid trailed down her arm and unto the floor. No doubt this was the doctors doing, a syringe maybe yet it was impossible for Ivy to tell herself...

And then the giggling started.. Quiet at first, but slightly increasing in volume the longer it went on. The laughter sounded happy yet also deranged at the same time. One thing about being so quiet was that you had time to study people without being noticed, as such Ivy had watched the way her roommates acted. The dark haired girl, Lucia had never once broken into a fit of giggles, going by what Ivy knew anyway. The girl was acting wrong, that much was obvious and while this was obviously the doctors doing Ivy wasn't sure what they had done.. Perhaps the girl had just finally snapped..

███████████████████████████████████████

Are you really sure you want to know about My Label? Okay, it's;;

Crawling through this world as disease flows through my veins

It was a curious thing, really. It felt as though there really were separate beings within herself. It was like there was a fight going on, invisible to the eyes of the others in this cushioned cell with her. A fight within Lucia herself. A fight against what, though? Not even Lucia truly knew the answer to that.

"Wait, am I moving?" she thought to herself, her giggle slowing slightly. Everything around her was changing its position in her eyes. The world spun to an up-right angle. Was she making herself move? Couldn't have been. She had just been laying on the floor with no intention on moving. "Oh," she thought to herself, realizing it was Steven moving her against a wall. "Steven," she said in a quiet recognition whilst giggling still. He was smiling at her, and seated himself beside her. Of course, still leaving space.

Half of Lucia didn't exactly blame him, either.

He was asking what was funny. What was funny? Why was Lucia laughing? Her laughing slowed to an almost complete stop as she thought about this. How could she describe, or explain what she found funny in that instant? If she did, she would sound utterly insane. Perhaps not to Steven, but everyone else in the room. At least, probably. But then again, they all were in an institution.

"Now I know there's more than one," she said, smiling. It was the only answer she could really produce. It made sense to her, and would possibly make sense to him. She wasn't certain on how the others in the room would think of her reply. Did she care? Well, no. Not really. Anyone could have taken her answer in numerous different ways. But for her, it was only one.

At a slight tingling and stinging sensation, her eyes drifted downwards to her arm. Streaked with blood stains. Her eyebrows furrowed for a moment, then rose. The memory of the purple serum being injected into her arm was back, and she was no longer laughing. Spite and malice began in her core, and spread to every part of her in a flooded rush. Then, the tenseness in every muscle in her body slowly became a bit more relaxed. Rather than allowing strong, negative emotions overcome her, driving her into a possibly violent outburst of some sort, she forced herself down to a more relent feeling. Her eyes simply widened in what looked to be surprise, shock, and perhaps a slight hint of disbelief.

"They injected that.. Purple fluid," she said quietly, her eyes drifting up to Steven. "I don't like those injections, Steven," she continued, and looked down at the crimson streaks on her arm. It had definitely done something to her. This much, at least, Lucia could process and know. She was not a talkative, or open person, nor has she ever been. But now she was acting as though she trusted this male, or had been friends with him. She continued to stare at her arm with unblinking eyes, remaining within the thoughts she was having about all of this.

Cael's eyes zoomed straight to the doorway and the brutish male when it opened. The moment she heard them mention injections she felt chills again and had to look away as the gurney was brought out. When Lucia was injected the pale-haired girl could feel her own heart racing. It was nightmarish just wallowing in the silence that existed while the black-haired woman was absent. Cael's imagination created scenarios of what they were doing to the poor young lady back there, and not one was too far from the truth.
They could do anything and everything to you in this hellhole, and they did.

When Lucia was lead back out to the cell she looked dead. Vacant. And then she curled up against the cold ground. And then she sat up.
And then she laughed.

The artificial sound grated against Cael's nerves and she shuddered, watching as the boy and ravenette situated themselves beside eachother companionably.
They look like they're having the time of their lives.
"Now I know there's more than one."
More than one what?
Cael thought to herself, feeling about as isolated as the pink-haired girl hidden beneath her sanctum of a blanket.
Somewhere near the couple, she heard purple and injection. and ended up having to pinch her eyes shut. Those words aroused such dizzying feelings, her heart beating so fast her blood pounded in her ears.
It took a good amount of focus to keep herself from hyperventilating and panicking fully, and by the time she had calmed herself down the room was just as eventless as it had been before.

Not liking the utter quiet, she stood carefully so as not to wobble and made her way over to the pinkette.
"Hello?" She said cautiously, in case the girl would scare easy or something.
"What was your name again? I'm Cael." She smiled half-heartedly, memory failing her a bit. Such an expression couldn't be entirely honest in a place like this.

Steven smirked as she said his name, and his blue eyes remained focused
on her, ignoring all else for the moment. He seemed to only be able to
completely focus on one thing at a time. The boy inside the man smiled as
she told him that there was 'more than one' in her, and he chuckled softly.
"Emotions turn to thoughts turn to actions," he said in a rather puzzling way.

Steven, she's bleeding... why didn't the doctors fix her up? Something is
wrong here, Steven, we have to get out of here.
Steven's eyes followed
The trail of crimson from her arm and looked at his hands, turning them over
for a moment curiously before he concluded that he hadn't done anything to
her. He smiled at the thought, and didn't pay much attention to the 'purple
fluid' being mentioned by Lucia. It didn't seem relevant to the youthful minded
man at the time, and he wasn't looking to search for what it meant.

"I don't like needles," he replied to her softly and rubbed his arms a moment
nervously before he looked over at her arm. "You need a band-aid... my mom
used to give me band-aids when I got hurt. N-need a band-aid."
