Rory nodded slightly. It was times like this where he would get slightly embarrassed by his pokemon. Well her coloring. She had won many contests before simply because of her coat but that never seemed to help him when it came to girls. Not too many were proud to stand by a man with a pink pokemon. "She's over there in the field." he said pointing to where he could see her still in the field.
Pinkie had watched the incident with the Spinarak wide-eyed. What had been up with it and it's fascination with his hair. She watched Rory's interaction with the female he was talking to cautiously. Especially when she saw the look in the Pikachu's eyes.

Shadow, who had nodded to Rory when he went to help out the red-haired girl turned his attention instead to the pink ponyta. To his surprise, she already seemed to have company. There was another ponyta. And a deer-like pokemon that was too slender to be a stantler...and was that a spinerak? Where were all these pokemon coming from?!
Walking over to see what all the commotion was about, he witnessed the bug pokemon being thrown by Rory before it caught itself on the deer pokemon's antlers. "Wow...nice catch," he told the pair, smiling a little before turning back to the other humans. "Hey...Rory, your girl's starting to look nervous. Who's this?" He blinked at the female Rocket. "Hi. Are these all your pokemon? There's so many," he added, gesturing to the others. "I only saw you let out that pikachu."

Rory turned his attention to Shadow. He looked around to see where his pokemon had gone and noticed the nervous look on her face that Shadow had commented about. He clicked his tongue and held his hand out palm forward.
Pinkie heard her trainer's call and started to slowly walk over to him. Who were the others with him? Were they who Pastin and Grael belonged to? And why was the Pikachu glaring at Rory? She timidly stepped to Rory's side and rubbed the side of her head against his hand.

"Wow...she really likes you, doesn't she?" Shadow commented absently, watching the Ponyta nuzzle her trainer. Something about her display of affection was vaguely familiar, but he could quite put his finger on it.
"She must have been with you a long time," he said, observing how the pair seemed comfortable with each other. "I know you said your parents gave her to you, but when was that?" He gazed at the strange-colored Ponyta. "Does she have a name?"

Rory ran his hand down the pokemon's coat.
"Yea," he smiled softly, "she was a birthday present the year I turned thirteen," Wow it had nearly been nine years since she had first hatched! He hadn't realized it with the hustle of attempting to get settled into the organization.
Rory scratched at the back of his neck nervously when he was asked about the Ponyta's name. "Well I didn't name her myself; a friend of the family decided to name her Pinkie Pie," he blushed slightly and his speech sped up. "Typically I just call her Pink or Pinkie."
He looked between the two of them. "What about you? Are any of the pokemon out here yours?" He knew the weird Pikachu belonged to the red head but he was mostly curious as to who owned that Spinirak so he could avoid them in the future.

She was spazzing today obviously. She almost missed the other guys question about the pokemon. Were all these guys hers? Psssh, only the pikachu was hers and she had no choice BUT to bring him along, otherwise he'd pitch a fit the next time she let him out of his ball. Looking to the younger rocket, she shook her head.
"Im Ally and no, just the pikachu belongs to me. Im not sure about all these other pokemon...It's like they came out of the wilds or something!"
She noticed when Rory's pokemon came up to him looking slightly nervous. Why was that? Cosmos was over there with her, hopefully he didn't do anything to make the poor ponyta uncomfortable...That thing was known for causing trouble...
Just like her.
"Cosmos! C'mere will ya?!"
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cosmos wasn't happy, but he needed to obey Ally's commands. After all, he could keep a better eye on her if he was in close range of their babble. He may not understand it, but he had no problems reading body language. With a sigh, he started running in Allys direction, letting out a nice Pika pi.
Time to make nice nice...

So the Spinirak didn't belong to the red head. That made Rory breath a small sigh of relief. Maybe the others belonged to Shadow? He spared the teenage boy a glance; he didn't seem like one that would have a hair crazed pokemon, but the blond could easily be wrong.
Pinkie stayed near Rory's side, especially when the girl called the Pikachu over. She had seen how he had been looking at her trainer and she wasn't buying the look he plastered on his face as he ran to his trainer. If he was planning anything against her Rory, the blue mouse would have to come through her first.

"A friend of the family...sure," Shadow sneered, catching sight of Rory's blush. "Must be fun to call her out in battle. That aside, you guys must have a really strong bond."
Gazing at the bright pink ponyta, the teen's attention shifted when Rory asked he and the red-head a question. "Uh, no. Can't say they are," the younger grunt answered with a sheepish smile. "Don't have any pokemon myself. Not like I've needed any yet, thank Arceus."
"Right. Ally," Shadow repeated. "Nice to meet you." There was something vaguely familiar about her, but he couldn't quite remember. Maybe they had trained together as trainees? Those days were all a blur. Who knew?
"That's really odd. I wonder where they all came from. And why." That Spinerak in particular seemed to be obsessed with Rory. He eyed them cautiously. "I doubt they're wild to be so comfortable around humans." Maybe they were just general Rocket pokemon being let out of storage for a time. "Heh...got some Sweet Scent on you or something, Rory?"

Now that introductions were out of they way, Ally was slightly bored. Its not that Rory and Shadow? Were boring, its just that what they were talking about was boreing. Maybe if she asked some questions of her own, she wouldn't be bored anymore?
Maybe.
"Pinkie pie huh?" She walked up to the ponyta and rubbed her fur. She was so cute....In her own way.
"Maybe she'd get along with Sapphire. Ive been meaning to get her to mingle with other pokemonm besides her self when she's near a mirror."
That pokemon could be so vain sometimes.
---------------------------------------------
Cosmos on the other hand, did not like the attention Pinkie was getting from his trainer. At least it wasnt the blonde male but geez, he was friggin cute too! In order to prove his point, he cautiously walked up to Rory and let out a shy Pika. He didn't want this guy to touch him, but it might make the ponyta stray away for a bit.

Rory slightly glared at the teenage boy. "Yeah a friend of the family did it. Of course it was always fun having to call her out, not like I ever had to deal with young, teenage punks talking about crap they don't know anything about." he replied sarcastically. "No matter her name, that pokemon has been everything to me since I was a teenager."
Breathe in, breathe out. There was no need to go off on the guy for commenting on something he had no idea was a sore spot for him.
Rory furrowed his eyebrows at the mention of Sweet Scent. "No, they weren't even here when I first came out here." His eye caught the sight of the red-head petting his pokemon. "Maybe she's got some on her?"
He noticed the blueish Pikachu step closer to him. Despite the fact that he wasn't buying the look on the little guy's face, Rory reached into his pocket and pulled out a treat to offer the pokemon.

The glare from the older grunt just drew a broader grin from the younger boy. "Ouch," he said, wincing playfully at the biting remark. "That was pretty harsh." His grin subsided into a good-natured smile. "Relax, man. It takes guts to carry around a pokemon like that, especially without trying to hide her. And in a criminal organization, no less," he commented with genuine admiration.
"Lesser trainers would have just shut her in a PC and let her stay there. At least maybe until they had a girlfriend or someone to gift or trade her to." Which would have been a definite shame. Pinkie appeared to be both a fantastic battler as well as a show pokemon. It was a good thing she had a trainer like Rory who truly appreciated all she had to offer. No wonder she was so loyal to him.
Catching Rory's subtle compliment toward Ally, Shadow had to do his best to keep his snarky grin from creeping back across his face. "Yeah, maybe," he shrugged, having meant the Sweet Scent comment as a joke in the first place. "Well, seems like you two are getting along fine. I don't really have experience with pokemon, so I'll leave you guys to them. I've got grunt work to do." Sticking his hands in his baggy jean pockets, the teenager pivoted on his worn, sneakered foot and waved at the flirtatious couple. "Later."
It was a good thing he'd turned his back at that moment, because he wouldn't have been able to hold back a snicker for an instant more.

At the sweet scent comment, Ally gave both boys a confused look. What the hell were they talking about with the sweet scent? She knew Cosmos didn't have that ability, but maybe Pinkie did? It would make sense after all, she was just so adorable it was scary.
"Ummm, I don't know what your talking about, but maybe Pinkie has the sweet scent?"
She glanced at Cosmos and shook her head, summoning him back to his ball before he could even take the treat. She knew what he was getting ready to do, and she sure wasn't about to be responsible for letting her pokemon send some one to the infirmary. Giving Pinkie one more pet on the head, Ally tugged at one of her braids before looking to both of the males with a smile. Before she could say anything, Shadow decided to leave then, wich didn't make her angry, but she wanted to talk to him a bit more.
"See ya Shadow! Nice meeting you!"
With that, she turned to Rory and waved to him as well. It was time for her to go and get dinner anyway, along with some delicious bubble tea.
"I gotta go. Maybe we can talk later? I'd definitly like to spend more time with Pinkie..."
Ally quickly started walking away then, the thought of food and bubble tea drving her to get to the cafeteria faster. She hopped it wasnt too rude of her to leave him there...

At the smile Shadow sent his way, Rory tried to relax. "Well she's been through a lot with me and she's all I have; I'm not gonna box her after all of that." He couldn't imagine locking Pinkie away after all they had been through together.
"Well I never had a girl to trade with so that didn't really cross my mind either." Though if he had, he probably would have attempted it when he was younger; it would have saved him a few attacks in the dressing rooms.
The blond grunt chuckled as Shadow walked off leaving him along with the little red head. "Trust me, it's not Pinkie." he grinned slightly. "We'll definitely have to get together to let the pokemon spend time together. She'd like that."
As he watched the red head walk away, he went over to his pokemon and petted the top of her head. "This is gonna be interesting. Maybe this is the place for us after all."
