Jerome glanced back at the women as she looked at him, nodding to her and then to the dude who lent Jerome the glasses in greeting, before taking Tambrey's lead and going up to get a ticket for the museum.

He stared up at the building as they got closer, looking over every ledge and ridge of its architecture.
Man he had the hugest urge to see if he could climb this thing, bet he could.
Sadly this was no time to see if he could pull of parkour on his building, as he followed his small group inside and the women asked what they should see first,

"Hmm" Jerome hummed lightly glancing around. "D'nno, whatever ya want." he added a slight shrug.

Considering Shadow sort of still was a child, not to mention had had his brain fiddled around with by a legendary psychic within the past few months, what Aulus' look implied probably wasn't all that far from the truth. That, and the grunt knew next to nothing about actual weapons. "Right...sorry." With a sheepish smile, he quickly backed off. Note to self - stay away from the guy and his stick.

*****

The grunt nodded respectfully, wanting to acknowledge that he was aware of the rank title that usually came before Asch's name. He hesitated, before glancing at Asch's hair, his mouth slightly open for a second before he shut it. Likely, that was what the look had been for before when Asch had glanced back at the blonde agent.

A lot of Rockets seemed really touchy about their things. Still, no reason not to try to be nice. "Shadow," he answered, noticing the reluctance with which Asch shook, but choosing to ignore it. He didn't seem like the touchy-feely type, anyway. "Hey...wanna go after our 'professor'?" he asked nodding towards Alba. With luck, Asch would have overheard the same thing Shadow had.

Xander gave Tambrey and Jerome a smile, though it looked a bit on the amused side. "Well we could take a look at the map and go in a circle so we don't go directly to the project." He worded it so that it sounded like he was curious about the rest of the museum before what ever it was they were doing a project on in case some one was listening. "What kind of area are you most interested in 'Brey? We can each choose a place to go, after we look at the map of course." He then moved over a few steps to grab a copy of said ma before opening it to show the other two.

Shadow? That was an interesting name.. probably a code name or something. But then, it wasn't that much more unusual than his own. Thus Asch nodded at the return introduction.

At the recommendation of meeting up with their "professor", Asch followed Shawn's gaze towards Alba. He quickly caught on and huffed while folding his arms. "If we must. This project is stupid."

He then began walking in Alba's direction, looking like a sulky and angsty teen that was bored out of his mind by the museum. Which really wasn't all that hard.

While the group started wandering the museum, assuming false identities, familiarizing themselves with the building, sizing up guards and gathering maps, Lore meandered into the central room. The ceiling was domed and made of glass, letting in streaks of sunlight. Rare exhibits lay scattered about, tucked safely behind varying levels of security. In the center of the room was the pedestal supporting the Sky Plate. Caught in the sunlight, the blue artifact shimmered subtly, reflecting faint flecks of light from some paper-thin inlay of mica or crystal. Lore tilted his head, yellow eyes passing over the exhibit. No bullet proof glass. No cage. He was sure some manner of security was in place, but the fact the thing was so out in the open would simplify their job a lot.

An hour or so later, once the Rockets had adequate time to get comfortable with their surroundings, Lore started wandering the halls, casually gathering them up with the whispered instruction, "We'll need to find a place to hide until nightfall. Some sort of maintenance or storage space."

Asch seemed to manage to remain natural while maintaining his irked demeanor. His fellow teen sneered. "You're telling me. How many people does it take to swipe an iPad?" He knew it was probably more secure and important than it sounded, but...it just didn't seem like a big deal. Shadow thought maybe just two agents alone had a better chance of taking the thing undetected than the whole lot of them. Still, he supposed it never hurt to have backup.

Glancing over, the spikey-haired kid thought he spotted Aulus and his partner again...with the former slapping the latter's butt with a map. The teen made a face. "I'm...going to pretend I didn't just see that," he murmured, turning away. "Race you there, Asch," he called, grinning as he hurried after Alba. He'd probably get yelled at not to run in the museum, but hey, it was a natural thing to be called out for. He was young and restless, same as Asch.

When Lore started instructing them in his casual manner, Shadow hesitated. "...What about the bathroom...?" Maybe not for all of them, but he'd known a few times when he'd hid in a stall, locked the door, and stood on a toilet until a place had closed down for the night. If all the stalls in one bathroom were locked, that would be too conspicuous, especially with Tambrey being the only girl. Still, there had to be more than one bathroom around, hadn't there...?

Tambrey wanted to go -everywhere-, she had no idea where she wanted to go -first- though. Of course, she made sure to remind herself that the whole 'looking around the museum' stuff was just a ruse until the actual goal.
When they'd actually get to take something!
Well, that was interesting; she confirmed to herself that she was actually excited at the fact they were here to steal something. Perhaps it wasn't too surprising- the things museums had were... well, interesting enough to want.

Well, if Jerome didn't mind, and Xander wanted to do that...
"I think that's a good idea- if we walk down that way," She pointed randomly to avoid choosing a -first- place to go "then we can come back around eventually!" She -really- wanted to see everything.

When they were gathered with the whispered instruction, she was likely slightly disappointed not to have more time, but her mind was also racing with, curiously, happy thoughts of taking the Sky Plate.
It was even a pity they weren't going to take more stuff...
Oh, right, hiding places. She should pay proper attention...

An annoyed look flashed across Asch's face. Was this guy really trying to speak in code? He wasn't doing it very well. Way to be low key, talking about swiping ipads. "Don't be stupid," he retorted, not about to indulge in that. Continuing his pouting, Asch looked in another direction until Shadow's comment drew his gaze back towards him, having completely missed the episode between Hayes and Aulus.

However he did blink once as Shadow took off, wanting to race. Asch made a "hmph" and then ran after him, continuing to play the part of the juvenille delinquent. If you could call it just a part.

Once he'd caught up with Shadow, Lore came across them and Asch had to nod in agreement with the bathroom idea. Not a bad choice, but perhaps a little too public. "The electrical room. Nobody ever goes in there." All that was in there was furnaces, water heaters, and other maintenance junk that nobody looked at unless something needed to be fixed or maintained

Alba happened to look up in time to see Shawn hurrying towards him, Asch behind him. He bit back another smirk. Hadn't Asch been wearing a higher ranked uniform than Alba's earlier? This was almost too good to pass up. In a deliberate, almost bored sounding tone, "Professor" Alba continued skimming the leaflets and drawled, "Slow down, gentlemen. The exhibits aren't going anywhere in a hurry." Or at least not as far as the general public was concerned.

He feigned friendly curiosity when Lore slipped by with their orders. "Ah, I see. Thank you, sir, we'll be sure to check it out," he said casually, glancing once at the papers in his hands as if confirming something that was said. His attention was redirected to his "students" after Lore was gone. "Anything in particular either of you are interested in first? Don't forget, you have 6 pages of writing depending on this." He adjusted his glasses again. No wonder his college professors were so evil. This was actually kind of fun!

Jerome was starting to think he was getting a good feel for this building, and now just the floor. but the ceiling, beams and construction that most people never notice since their eyes are eye level. to him, this kind of information was always useful to have.

This came into mind when the executive casually came up to their group, and they were given orders to find a hiding place.
glancing over to Tambrey and Xander when Lore moved on, he nodded to them. "I'm gettin' some higher ground." he nodded back toward where they came.
"The exhibit that way lookin' kinda empty, I saw some doors to a back storage you guys can get in" He suggested to them.
He saw a way to the beams up by the ceiling he can get up to without trouble, and be out of sight.

Gesturing to them to follow, he took lead this time, making sure they were not going to be seen by anyone who might be in the room.

Xander had to admit that the 'sight seeing' in the museum wasn't that bad. He even took notes of interesting things. But when Lore said to find a place to hide he wasn't too disappointed, not like Tambrey. He gave Jerome a nod for the idea, it was just as good as any he supposed. "Sounds good." He gestured for Tambrey to follow Jerome first and he took up the rear, pretending to take more notes just in case.

As Lore casually gathered up the Rockets and spoke with them about hiding options, he nodded approvingly at their suggestions, looking impressed, "A buffet of fine choices.." He scratched his chin and eyed Asch, "Electrical room sounds least likely to catch attention. Added bonus, I bet it's super creepy down there." His eyes passed over to Jerome, "And the empty exhibit sounds like just the way to get there. Good work. After you, sir." He gestured at the tattooed Rocket.

With Jerome leading the group to the aforementioned doors, slipping into the back halls of the museum wasn't too difficult. They had a while to do it and one by one they could disappear into the door marked "do not enter". A trip down a rickety staircase and an area fitting a description similar to what Asch suggested came into view. It was dark and a little dank, lined with various machines making noises that presumably resulted in power or water pressure or some other thing.

Lore wandered ahead, peering inside closets until he found one he deemed large enough, "In here should be good. He tossed the door open and stepped aside, revealing a good view of what appeared to be a tool closet. It was large enough to fit the entire group. Barely. It appeared the next several hours would be spent crammed in uncomfortably close quarters waiting for the museum to close. As usual, Lore's good mood was unphased, "Inside, troops."

[OOC: And that's the last post for the night! You guys are welcome to reply immediately, but you can reply during the day before we start up again in the evening if you'd like. You're also welcome to have some dialogue exchange between now and then, you're not limited to one post. Your Rockets are going to be stuck in a small dark room wondering who's knee is in their side. Empty exhibit. Storage rooms. Electrical rooms. Toilets.
The first two sounded interesting depending what they contained, but she was already pretty sure they wouldn't choose to hide anywhere where interesting things were actually kept... No, of course it would be some broom closet or janitorial area. The toilets were somewhere Tambrey didn't want hide out, but she had a reasonable objection for them for Shawn.
"Um. Good plan for a shop, I think. 'S a museum though, so it's a really public, vulnerable tourist-y place." She kept her voice quiet, but tried to make sure the rest of the team were listening, at least. "So, the bathrooms are probably subjected to 'push-door' checks and, y' know, making sure no cubicles are locked before closing..." The others sounded mostly better.
She wasn't sure, much as she wanted to, about hiding in a back storage area as Jerome suggested.
"I like that idea; the storage area, but depending on what's back there, it could be vary on how secure it is..." As a route to the electrical room, though, it actually sounded a good idea. Risky, sure, but lower risk than a lot of other options she could think of.
She nodded and happily followed along behind Jerome, sticking closer to him and Xander in an attempt to preserve the grouping ruse they'd all been using, just in case.

After slipping past the sign and down the rickety staircase, Tambrey found herself just a little disappointed again as the area they were looking for came into view so soon. Oh, yes, she understood it was a good thing, the quicker they could hide, but on some not-so-buried level, she'd wanted to at least pass through an area stacked with boxes of old artifacts or drawers of fossils.
She gave uninterested glances at the noisy machines and then watched Lore choosing the group's hiding place.
Well, this was going to be cosy...
It wouldn't do to complain though, so she gave a frown and a nod, then followed on in, making her way toward the back and then sitting on the floor, her back pressed to one of the walls of the cupboard.
Out all the discomfort about it, and the awkwardness of being all cramped up in a closet with a bunch of guys, the one gripe she vocalized was; "It's a shame 's too dark to read."

Catching Asch's annoyed look, Shadow snickered. He guessed the agent must have disapproved of his reference to their target, but how else what he supposed to refer it? Besides, he wasn't really trained in stealth like Asch might have been, nor did he bother. In his experience, most people didn't really pay attention to things that passer-bys said anyway, no matter how outrageous they were. In the grunt's opinion, the agent worried too much. "Stupid? Maybe you're just a little too on-edge. Thought of that?" he asked with a playful jeer, making it clear he didn't want to pick a fight.

He grinned when the red-head complied with his challenge to race, wondering just how the snooty teen had been brought up. He almost acted like a prince. A very grumpy, sulky prince. Still, Asch reminded the grunt just why he was a Rocket agent at the suggestion of the electrical room. He hadn't even thought of that. Besides, Tambrey had been right. His own idea wasn't very secure or ideal, especially if they were going to have to wait for hours.

Laughing aloud when Alba decided to play along, Shadow tried not to smile as feigned a groan. "Awww. How could anyone write 6 pages of any of this junk?" he complained, gesturing around at the artifacts surrounding them. "This sucks, Teach."

Oh, how glad he was that he wouldn't really have to be writing any papers. It was one reason he never fancied the thought of being promoted to agent, who he'd heard did their fair share of paperwork. Besides that, Shadow himself had never actually attended real school, so it was fun to pretend to be a student, if only for a little while.

When the tattooed grunt, Jerome, stated that he would be heading for 'higher ground', Shadow raised a brow. "What are you talking about, dude?" he questioned. "There a second story somewhere in this place I don't know about?" He couldn't have imagined what the gangster had in mind.

With Lore making the final decision on their destination, Shadow obediently followed without complaint. Right up until they were in front of the tool closet. "You have got to be kidding me." He gaped, wondering how they were all going to fit in such tight spaces for hours on end. What if they fell asleep or something? How were they supposed to know when it was time to get out? What if they were discovered before them?

Well, those weren't his problems. The elite and executive probably had those all figured out. Shadow was grateful he wasn't doing this alone. "So, uh...anyone claustrophobic?" he asked off-handedly, wondering how Lore could remain so up-beat about the whole situation. He took out his 'dex to fiddle with it, not about to spend the next few hours bored out of his mind without anything to do. At least maybe he could study up on some pokemon.

"Oh...sorry Tambrey," he muttered, suddenly feeling sorry for the only girl who was stuck in a room of sweaty, smelly guy bodies. It wouldn't be pleseant for any of them, much less a member of the opposite gender. Still, at least it was a better hiding place than bathroom stalls. "I'd suggest bringing out a pokemon to light the place, but that might just make everything more cramped than it already is."

"Naw" Jerome replied to Shawn, then gesture up toward the displays and ceiling structure, the supports many of the displays were hanging from.

After some time, leading around toward the back arias of the museum, where the general public was not permitted to go. Aria of construction for new exhibits being set up, and the arias used for storage with lots of high shelves of equipment and tools for the displays.
Further down the back halls and in the lower arias, the group found themselves in what Jerome figured were the inner workings of the museum.

It was here that the Executive found a tool closet.
As other started to pile in, Jerome remained where he stood, letting out a heavy breath through his nose, rubbing a hand over the shaved side of his head and wearing a doubtful look on his face.
"Not exactly." Jerome answered Shawn, But it was close enough.
For as long as they were going to need to be in there, Jerome was unsettled just thinking about it.
"yo guys, Nothin' against any a' ya, but m'ganna go find something to climb up on to hide."
Something he was much more familiar with, then hiding in some shed.

With that, Jerome took a step back away from the tool shed as the others started to squeeze themselves in, Glancing around instead, he made his way over to the water pump.
Using ridges on its surface he climbed his way up easily, getting himself high enough so that he could make his way over to hoist himself over a thick beam that probably carried water.
It wasn't too long before Jerome carried himself up and over out of sight in the tangle of machines.

Bro' however, wasn't completely content to stick with Jerome the entire time it seemed, because not to long after Jerome left, then a half glowing figure with his arms crossed, and a large gleaming smile on his face was floating face down at the ceiling of the tool shed, looking down at the scrunched gathering of people below.
"Gar gar."
