Faelynn rolled her eyes. "You are never too old to find love." She chuckled at him and made a peace sign. "Charm, yeah I got loaaads of that. Thank you! I'll be off." She wandered out the door, making sure to grab her doctor's bag. After checking on a few patients, two humans and a elf to be specific, Faelynn walked down a path primarily used for travelers. There was a patient or two in little houses just off that path, so she figured she'd check up on them. That was until she saw a figure on the ground that wasn't moving. Faelynn, worried for this stranger's health, ran over to the unconscious body. "Oh no." She sat down and immediately began working on her, making sure she was breathing.

[Bele said I could put Fae in this situation.] Ryolan had left the bar some time ago and had been wandering toward the forest, "kind of suspicious that I had no business tonight," he wondered. He was walking toward the forest and notice a young woman running toward a fallen person. He watched curiously to see what would unfold. Out of the corner of his eye he saw a band of thieves creeping toward the woman. He decided, since he didn't get any business, he would have a little fun. He quietly followed the group, watching and waiting... The group leader held up his hand to signal to the rest of the group to stop. He started to move forward signalling the rest to follow and surround the poor woman. Ryolan then shouted behind them, using a spell to make his voice come from the trees all around them, "Hey, maybe you should try fighting someone that will give you a challenge, unless of course you are scared" he taunted them. The group turned and started racing toward Ryolan. Ryolan raised his hands "Hijerylik" He shouted which sent energy missile-like projectiles at the people in the front of the group. It knocked them down on the ground as the rest of the band of thieves closed the distance. Now, Ryolan didn't have time to cast another spell so he pulled out his longsword and got ready for the four people that were still coming.

Oralee had begun to awaken groggily when she heard feet pounding towards her. Danger... I have to get up... Just as she opened her eyes fully, a human girl with hair as golden as her own was leaning over her, checking over her body. It took her only the slightest of moments to figure out this was Faelynn, one of the doctors of Blissany. Pushing herself up on one arm as the quiet sound of feet filled her ears, Oralee struggled for breath. At least one cracked rib, She mentally decided, rolling to be on her knees. Reaching back, Oralee released her skirts with a flick of two buttons. Her love for skirts aside, Oralee always wore breeches of fine elven leather beneath them, and boots that made no sound adorned her feet. Throbbing pain filled her sore and battered body as she stared at the thieves, but Oralee drew her sword anyway. Most of the thieves abandoned them, chasing after the source of the voice emanating from the trees, but at least three remained by the women. With a gasp of breath, Oralee pushed to her feet. For a moment, blackness edged in on her vision. A practiced breath dispelled this shadows as she resolutely gripped her sword. ["I will not allow you to rob this world of one of the few honorable doctors left..." Her voice was weaker than her usual, and she hadn't even realized she'd spoken until the bandits laughed. Smirking, despite the pain, Oralee snapped her fingers. She and Faelynn vanished- or at least it appeared so to the bandits.

Faelynn watched as this unraveled before her, slightly frightened. Where did that voice come from? How did I not notice the bandits? She watched as the woman who was unconscious woke and grab her sword, then disappear. She called me an honorable doctor. . . Do I know her? Where did she go? As she began to watch closer, bandits began to get sliced and blood splattered. She then had some sort of idea on what was happening, and stood still and quiet holding on to her doctor's bag tightly. Slaine, I got myself into trouble. . . maybe it's because of that charm you spoke of earlier. She had recognized one of the bandits as someone who watched her when she danced, something that Slaine had no idea that she did.

((Sorry, dinner. )) As Faelynn watched- in a manner of spewing- Oralee dispatched the bandits with quick, lethal strikes. Her chest and back burned wth pain, and each breath was a gasp, but that didn't impede her fighting. As an assassin she had been trained to block all pain until the mission was completed. The first bandit was killed wth a lunge of the blade through his heart, the next had his head sliced off with a quick movement of her sword, and the third- a ranged fighter, aiming his bow careless in an attempt to discern where she was- had two throwing daggers embedded in his eyes. A third shot through his throat, and the illusion dispelled. Oralee braced her sword on the ground, and leaned heavily against it, gasping for breath. The shadows edged her vision again, just as she saw her hired horse come reporting back up. Damn horse... This is your fault... With a heavy thump, Oralee passed out again, landing in the dirt.

Faelynn, pushing the death she just witnessed into the depths of her mind to resurface later, rushed back over to Oralee. She made sure she was still breathing and thanked the lord that she still was. She also watched as the horse guiltily made it's way to Oralee and nudged her softly, looked at Faelynn and began to walk off. Before it could, Faelynn grabbed the reins and thought. I know that I can't carry this woman back to the clinic by myself. Faelynn looked to the horse and asked softly while caressing it's long face, "Are you this woman's horse?" The horse answered with a "Well, yes." Not stopping to consider that horses couldn't talk, Faelynn smiled. "Good, then you can help me get her to the clinic." After getting Oralee up carefully on to her horse with some trouble, Faelynn got to the clinic as fast as she possibly could. Then yelled out, "Slaine! I need your help, unconscious woman!" She got Oralee down and help her up as much as she could. "I can already tell that she has a cracked rib by the way she had stood before."

Slaine had ran outside the moment he heard Faelynn call our hid name, but once he'd heard the rest of her message, his feet moved faster. With barely a glance for Faelynn or the horse, Slaine lifted the girl out of hehe saddle. His mind registered- momentarily - that her shirt of fine fabric didn't match. He leather pants, though they we're the same color. Then it was gone as he switched into doctor mode. Carrying her carefully- cradling, really- Slaine carried her to the back room of theclinic, where they did the actual surgeries and check ups, and placed her on the table. Quick, efficient cuts removed her clothing, though Slaine didn't register her as anything byond a patient. He winced at the bruising already forming around her midsection, and felt at least three cracked ribs. Checking her other bones he found that she had minorly sprained her left wrist, and rolling her proved that her entire back was ripe wth bruising. He ran his hand over her back, healing the bruising, and healed her wrist, but the cracked bones were harder. If he healed them, the bones might fuse back together in a way that would endanger the womans lungs. It would has to be the scientific method of wrapping her midsection in bandages tightly. He began washing the dirt off of her hands first though, and from the minor cuts and scrapes no doubt sustained from the fall he presumed she took. Her cloak- which he had set aside rather than cut off, due to its simple clasp, looked familiar... But he kept his focus on the injured girl herself, listening for Faelynn.

Lorne sighed, looking into Godelieves eyes, "I suppose I should." he offered her a small smiled and a quick kiss, "Do you want to come with me? If he sees that I have a good partner it should help." He then took her hands on his. "Or would you like to stay here and wait for me to come back? Can you take that long?"

Faelynn tied the horse's reins to the post outside and ran into the clinic where Slaine was. "What can I help with?" She put aside telling him her story and would until she knew that this woman would be treated. She still had dirt on her knees and down her legs but had washed her hands to be some sort of assistance. "Slaine, she protected me from bandits along with this voice. . . and said I was one of the few honorable doctors left. She seemed like she knew me." Faelynn took notice of the cloak, now not moving and something clicked in her head. "Isn't that cloak the one that the donation lady uses?"
Godelieve smiled and took his quick kiss greedily. "I'll come with you, but you have to help me find someone to cut this overgrown hair of mine." She was half-joking, but her eyes shone with seriousness. "Plus, we can talk on the way, catch up on several things." She kept one of his hands in hers and gave a half smile. She wanted to ask why they had separated before, but then she'd also have to explain why she never tried to find him or even what she was doing in the time passed.

Slaine heard Faelynn approach, and stated what needed to be done. "Her cuts need to be washes out to prevent infection, and her midsection needs to be tightly bandaged for her three cracked ribs. Severe back bruises and a minor sprained wrist have been healed already. Slight chance of concussion, and -" He pauses and ran his hand lightly over her chest-usingn his healing magic to see into her body. "No punctured lung." With an instinctual ease possible only through practice, Slaine knew he need only say what needed to be done, and he and his sister would be able to woe as one without a word exchanged. When she spoke of the cloak, Slaine flickered a glance back ag it. "Yeah. Not exactly the way I wanted to meet our donation lady." Slaine realized that this girls reason for donating probably had something to do with her comment about Faelynn being an honorable doctor."Once her cuts are clean, and her ribs bandaged, she just needs to be dressed and then she can go rest in the other room." Slaine could have healed her cuts- but he tried to save his healing energy for dilemmas.

Faelynn gave a small smile, one which was put on her face to keep her from bawling from the past event. She got to work in an instant, grabbing bandaging, and some wash rags along with a mild disinfectant that she had discovered thanks to some medicinal herbs. She cleaned out all of the patient's - she couldn't see her as the donation lady while working - cuts and got to work on bandaging her midsection. Her hair had still be pulled back, a bit messy now as the events had just happened and she shook her head, trying to get her bangs out of her face. She took a little bit, making sure the bandages were tight and sighed softly. "Done. We can start redressing her now." Her voice cracked, something that hadn't happened in a while. It showed that she was holding something in and she was going to tell Slaine as soon as they were done tending to Oralee. Faelynn looked at Slaine, and let a tear fall slightly. "She got hurt more by protecting me."

Slaine raised his eyes toe ed his sister, able to see the strain she was carrying. Glancing back down, Slaine registered the scars criss crossing over her body as he- with Faelynn help- pulled her intova nightgown. The white fabric blended with the girl pallor. Slaine glanced back up at Faelynn. This woman was skilled, and had obviously been through hell her whole life. If she had felt the need to protect Faelynn, then there had been a need. "Faelynn. Had she not protected you, then you would have not been able toring her here. She would have laid there getting worse, and you would have been hurt as well.."

Arseni stared contemplatively out the window, his chin propped up by his hand. he had little to do, now that he was done with work for the day, and he didn't feel much like venturing out tonight. he supposed he might spend the night reading, so long as nothing came up.

Lorne smiled to Godelieve "You need a haircut? I like how look with long hair." he said with a smile. "But if you really want it cut..." he twirled hsi daggers, "One quick swipe. But thats up to you." He said sheathing his daggers again. "Lets go. We don't want the job to go away now, do we?" He smiled to her.
In a small, simple hut, on the edge of the forest, a young desert soldier awoke. His repeated nightmare. The war that his mission would have started. "I am not an instrument of war. My job is to defend and protect." he said as he got up and got dressed. He still wore the armor of a solider of Auster-Stri, though he had scrapped away all markings of the nation. He was AWOL. He could be criminal now. He shook his head. He had done the right thing. He was merecenary, and occasionally a thief for hire. he grapped his sword and strapped it across his back, and the Desert Hawk, hung from his belt. He stepped outside, holding out his arm, "Tale!" he called before a sparrowhawk swooped down landing on his arm, "Off to work my friend." Alexandre Kalderash, Soldier of Auster-Stri

Faelynn, after helping Slaine real fast with clothing the woman, sat down and looked up at her brother. "Slaine, I knew one of those bandits. It could've been my fault. I'm grateful that she protected me, but she -" Faelynn started to shake. "I watched her kill them. Slaine, it wasn't a pretty sight and it happened in front of me." Faelynn stood up and looked at Slaine, re-holding in the memory of the moment before. "Let's get her into the resting area, then we can talk."
Godelieve smiled when he complimented her hair and chuckled when he twirled his daggers. "I only need my bangs cut, with them in my face, I can't exactly see." She watched him sheathe his daggers and then answered his question. "Of course not." Godelieve looked at Lorne, then grabbed his hand softly. "Lead the way."
