Vento watches Sojiro to figure with out what he will do next, he probably realized that the minions are solid only when they attack. He has to play it smart in order to defeat them. While the first minion tries to put Tsunadora in a headlock, the second attempts to hit Sojiro with a right hook.

Marty_2013 Vento watches Sojiro to figure with out what he will do next, he probably realized that the minions are solid only when they attack. He has to play it smart in order to defeat them. While the first minion tries to put Tsunadora in a headlock, the second attempts to hit Sojiro with a right hook. Sojiro smiled playfully. He glanced at Tsunadora, then looked at the minion. as soon as they made contact with them they said in unison,"Shikai!" the ice barrier forming again around them and the minions.

Vento smirked as Sojiro went into Shikai smartly and didn't go into it right away. However, he was wondering what he could have possibly been up to inside that ice barrier.

Sojiro smiled as he and Tsunadora captured the wind minions in the barriers. "gotcha"he said playfully."since there is no oxygen to support them, those minions will vanish after some time."he said happily, the barriers falling apart and leaving the trapped minions floating in ice."how was that captain?"he asked, excited.

"Very good lieutenant, well played indeed. That is how you wait for the right moment and with that I believe we are done for the day." Vento changes out of his Shikai form; "Now do you think you can release me from this prison?"

Sojiro shivered happily as he heard his captains words. He quickly flew towards the barrier holding Vento, returning his sword to normal and Tsunadora returned to the blade. He removed the Bakudo and ice prison and then playfully pouted."You were going easy on me, weren't you?"he asked, believing Vento had held back.

Sojiro didn't know whether that was a compliment or an insult, looking at Vento confused."ya know, captain... that may be true, but saying it like that is a little cold, dontcha think?"he asked playfully

"Oh sorry what I mean is I need you by my side for future battles. A captain is a strong warrior, but with a lieutenant like you by his side he can take on any opponent. You are a very strong Soul Reaper however, I got experience on my side, plus I'm captain of Squad 13 for a reason." Vento didn't mean to hurt Sojiro's feelings, but the kid has a long way to go and he just so happens to be heading in the right direction.

I would have to say we need to capture one of the humans that attacked and have him or her interrogated and, if necessary, handed over to squad 12 for research."he said, then shuddered."squad twelve's current captain isnt a maniac like Mayuri Kurotsuchi, right? Sojiro laughed lightly."you make it sound like kidnapping is a good thing captain. I wonder if the head captain will approve of it though..."he said, he hoped the head captain would."its vital that we get such information so we dont accidentally hurt innocent people."

"Well I guess we should rephrase so it doesn't sound so bad because we want the captain to agree to it. However, we could just do patrol, see if any dangerous humans appear and that way we could just take them in since they attacked us while we were doing our duty." Vent didn't really want to waste time asking for permission he was eager to get a second shot at the humans who attacked his comrades before.
