It was nice to be able to move again, Leon was never going to take it for granted. The simple act of moving and walking never felt special.
Even when he had tiny feet pitter pattering all over the room, mostly to try and go on his tippy toes to reach for the safety clip on the mostly empty desk. "ack, c'mere!" he groaned out as stubby finger finally wiggled close enough to grasp the metal clasp and clip it to the pair of boxers/ now impromptu children's shorts. The green scarf became a awesome replacement for a shirt and plus it was GREEN.
He liked green a lot. :3
It took a lot of effort, a bit of whining and a lot of furious childlike rage but the doorknob of 121 was finally open and Leon was ready to play. The tiny boxer was all bouncy and oddly enough.... was beaming from ear to ear as he held up a fair sized red sphere.
Leon could be happy. it was a clear sign of the apocalypse.
"GAIZ GAIZ! Let's play kickball!" he said in a exuberant squeak and gave the sphere a solid punt into the air.
And straight to the back of poor Gale and his adult sized head.

He patted her hair gently with one hand. "Shh, s'alright now, princess. Don'tcha fret. What's Julie got to do with this?" The idea of dealing with Dr. H at a time like this made him a little sick, but Clarice was the boss, even if she was crying in his arms as he rocked her gently. He looked up, at the surface of the hole, and made a face as if she smelled something that smelled bad. "Uh.. if ya need me t'climb this here hole and get some help.. guess I can manage."

Wash's face scrunched up into a frown at Jerry's accusation.
He was not mean. No, this was so UNFAIR. It was JUST like having his brother and sister around again. He didn't DO ANYTHING.
"I din' DO anythin'!" He protested under his breath. In the back of his mind, he wondered who Julie was.
And if she really had animal crackers.

Eva looked over to Candace when she heard the other girl say "cry", noting that the girl did not seem very happy. Turning to face her, Eva threw her arms up in the air (and may have unwittingly whipped someone with her sleeves). "Nooo, Buttercup, don't be sad! Smile, smile! Like this!"
Cue Eva demonstrating with a broad grin. She held it for a few seconds, and then let it shrink back to a less-terrifying smile.
"Now you try!"

"Um." Jordan patted Jerry's back cautiously, looking rather like a deer in the headlights. "Jerry? Calm down?" Because if Jerry kept bawling, he wasn't totally sure he was going to be able to keep it together himself. "Please? I'm sure it'll be fixed. It's gotta be. Really."

Candace stared at Eva. And stared. And stared. And stared some more. "Buttercup?" She sniffed, rubbing her eyes. Someone said something about giving her a hug. She wanted a hug. And her bear.

He smiled when Sherry began to settle down. “That’s a good kid!” Okay, so he was a kid too but his dad always told him that whenever he stopped crying and it seemed like a very appropriate thing to say at the moment. Wilson patted Sherry on the head again, feeling satisfied that he had managed to soothe her crying even though she still occasionally sniffled. When she reached up to tug at his shirt he patted her head—always more head patting never not head patting—and took her hand in his for reassurance.
A familiar white-haired girl stumbled into the hall dragging a giant bear and his eyes sparkled with excitement. Dude, that thing was humongous! Still holding Sherry’s hand, he tugged her along as he tackled the bear and buried his face into its fur. “It’s so softttt.” Wilson completely ignored the fact that the bear suspiciously resembled someone he knew. He popped up from behind the bear to stare at the red ball in Leon’s hand.
“Yes! Kickball! Let’s do kickball please please please—“

"You want your...what."
Gale stared at Candace with a completely blank expression on his face. Her bear? Where on earth am I supposed to find her bear?
"Er...do you remember where you left it last?" he asked her. "Your room? And, er...babysitter?" he repeated, somewhat horrified by the very idea. "I'm - what - excuse me - OW."
Something smacked into the back of his head, knocking him forward several steps and almost sending him faceplanting on the floor. Rubbing the bruise that was starting to form, Gale whipped around and leveled a Look at Leon.
"Leon. No."
And then there was little Reine, dragging...what was possibly...the biggest bear Gale had ever seen in his life with her.
And Eva was calling Candace Buttercup. And Candace was wailing about her boobs.
What is even -
Clearly he needed to do something and he needed to do it fast. Except Gale had no idea what exactly there was to do, other than try and figure out where Candace's bear was (and hopefully it was somewhere near).
"Uh," he said. "Er...."
A pause. He tried to remember what he liked when he was a kid.
"...piggyback rides?"

"I have the best boyfriend ever..." she hiccuped.
Cass leaned her head against his shoulder, still sniffling pathetically while she hugged him back, looking like a testament to cooties in any true child's mind. It was probably a hilarious awkward looking hug. But she still clung to him, holding onto the boy even after she was done sobbing, wiping her nose off on her shirt, leaving a smear of snot on it.
"c-Can we go ride pillowcases down the stairs now....?" she asked, hiccuping once, but otherwise seeming okay now that hugs had happened and she'd gotten some sobbing out of her system.

Jerry, thankfully, quieted at the somewhat familiar voice, although his lip still quivered. The sudden hug from Marcus seemed to help immensely. His eyes locked down on his feet as he fidgeted with his huge glasses, brown eyes still watery, "Y-you th-think? Woo-woo.. well good, th-they... they've gotta-otta-otta-ot-" His jaw clenched as he cut the stammer short, although he looked increasingly miserable.
At least the sobbing and panic attack had stopped.

Sniffling, she thought about it and shook her head, "I think he's still mad at you Robert, just lift me out and I'll get him because I'm his favourite, ok." But she didn't want to leave him here, who knows when he'd stop digging. And if it rained, then he;d drown and it would be all her fault due to neglect. Eye wide, hurriedly continued, "You go see if anybody else is affected," she paused and then continued for good measure, "...is Petra ok?"

"Smile!" Eva repeated, beaming at Candace, "Like thi--oops, sorry Puppy!" She turned around at Otto's voice, frowning as she pat him on the top of the head. She hadn't meant to whip him with her sleeve! Was he ok--
PIGGYBACK RIDES.
The little girl immediately turned her wide-eyed gaze to Gale. For a moment, she didn't say anything--she just stared, and then reached out with one hand to tug at his pant leg. Then, she let out a pitifully hopeful, "Piggyback ride?"

"He's the beeeestttt," Reine preened, showing off her bear. See- she knew a good plushie when she saw it, even if Eva disapproved. Speaking of which.. Eva! She spotted her friend hanging around.. around someone who must be Candace, but then the word kickball distracted her.
"GAME???" She looked back towards Wilson, a huge smile on her face. "I wanna play toooo, can I pleaaaaseeee?"

"Okay." Robert adjusted Clarice in his arms, so that he was ready to hoist her up, but paused. "I think so. She's still asleep. When I woke up this morning, I had a hankerin' t' dig, so I snuck out and left her sleepin'." He lifted her up by her little waist, waited for her to grab the edge of the dug out hole, and then moved down to put his hands under her feet and pushed her up gently. "Okay princess, be careful now. Don't know iffin I trust Dr. H right now, with how weird things are." He didn't know if he ever trusted Dr. H, but leaving Clarice alone with him, when she was a child? Heeeeeeeeell no.
