I am new to movies as well. The ones we watched in the movie club were some of my first. She flickered her eyes to the side, and they lightened affectionately. And I enjoyed watching them with you as well. I think movies, especially the bad ones, are best enjoyed with friends.
She turned her attention back to the movie, and watched for a few long, quiet moments, before a quiet sigh left her thoughts. That ghoul's voice is a little monotone, don't you think? Once again, she was glad they could speak together through the mind, whispering their little secrets without disturbing the crowd with commentary. In fact, just ahead were a group of ghouls who looked absolutely enthralled with the movie, to the point of obsession. She worried a little for them, especially when they all sighed in unison. It made her flicker her gaze back at Christof, giving him a knowing, almost sarcastic look.

Christof was not paying attention to the sallow damsel who now tripped over her own feet and completely failed to break a leg. So... you would consider us friends, Mistress? He double-checked carefully.
He swallowed a bit more soda as he watched a crippled werewolf introduce his young and supple offspring in a garish display of nipples.
I never thought I would find a friend... like you. I had one once. But not for very long.

At that question, Riley turned her entire head to the side and her attention focused solely on the igor beside her. I thought I made that clear, Christof. She murmured quietly. But if you like, I will confirm. Her hand rose up to brush against his hair, very gently. I consider you a very good, very important friend. And I love you very much, as I do my other friends. It is a love I did not understand, for the majority of my life. And it's still very new to me. But I suppose we'll have to take these new steps together, until we're used to them.
She pulled her hand away, and her face lifted in lieu of a smile. We will consider today a beginning, an understanding. What lies ahead is unknown, and I regret to admit that we will both probably make many more mistakes before we truly understand how things like friendship and love works. She reached over and snatched some popcorn, holding it up to her tentacles. I suppose that's what the future is for, isn't it? A lifetime to make mistakes until you finally get it right.

His breathing quickened at the touch, his reanimated heart thumping faster in his chest, and he nearly spilled soda on his lap. His third hand slid under his jacket to rest on the patch of flesh that covered his kidney silently. You... you are a much better friend than her, Mistress, you are stronger than her, I bet you could rip him limb from limb, I bet you- he flinched, the burning at his tongue-nub suddenly becoming mind-numbing enough to stop the thought in its tracks.
Mistakes get people hurt, Mistress. Friendship is not... entirely new to me, but... I did not come to fully appreciate it for what it was until I came here.
He watched as now two pallid faces stared at each other in quiet lust. He wondered if the vampire was going to eat her. It would make the movie more interested. He certainly looked like h wanted to, and she wasn't even wearing a scanty night dress.

Riley didn't know exactly how to respond to the discussion of someone Christof had known in the past, and it felt awkward to hear of it. Her expression furrowed somewhat as he spoke of him, and Riley's hand moved to his shoulder, patting it firmly. I'm sure I could, as well. Let us hope he is never fool enough to come test me. I would hate to make such a mess.
Her thoughts mirrored his as they turned back to the movie, and she bent her head in closer, keeping her eyes on the film despite the movement. She didn't need to bend towards him to whisper, it was simply force of habit.
Do you think he's going to eat her. She whispered hopefully.

She's not even swooning *properly*, Mistress. She looks a bit constipated, really. Is it true werewolf shirts explode? I do not know many weres, but what shape shifters I know, their clothing never explodes. It seems indecent.
He shifted, flushing slightly as she remained close, and slowly, carefully shrugged out of his jacket.
Stitched lips pursed, his tiny wing attached to his hunch gave a flutter, and his third arm casually, timidly, slipped around her broad shoulder.

Riley remained where she was, even after his little arm wrapped around her shoulder. No. I mean, I don't ever recall Red's shirt exploding. A fact I am quite glad for, that would have been awkward for some people. She chuckled, and fell silent, her head tilting slightly when the two main characters just .. stared at one another.
What..
They just continued to stare, as the camera zoomed in.
What is the point of this scene, what - who even made this movie? Did someone truly sit down and write this drivel? How did they write this scene? Is it an entire blank page?

If he really wants to show her he likes her, he aught to chop her up, Christof pressed, pleased that his arm wasn't shooed away. So he tried his other Right arm for good measure, his little wing fidgeting in excitement. Or maybe if there was a puzzle box he put on her head that if she did not figure out some sort of riddle, it would rip her face apart? That would be romantic.

Riley turned her entire attention back to Christof, and stared at him for almost as long as the ghoul seemed to stare at her vampire. But her expression was deadpan - well, so was the ghoul's, she supposed.
Christof. She finally murmured. That is not romantic. We need to work on your conceptions of romance. And this movie is not helping. She chuckled and rolled her eyes, turning back to the movie.

It's not? He cocked his head to one side, brows furrowing. His palms were sweaty.

She chuckled, but remained focused. No ghoul wants to be physically maimed, Christof. You must remember that romance is the kind of thing that two people want to enjoy together for an extended period of time. If you cut a ghoul up into pieces.. well.. that's it, then, isn't it? She won't be able to go out on a second date.
She let out a noise of annoyance when the ghoul began to have some kind of seizure with her eyes blinking rapidly. I wouldn't mind if she was cut into pieces, though.

Oh, Christof shifted anxiously, I... I like cutting up ghouls. I've only done it with corpses though, he added quickly, arm pulling back to twist his hands together while juggling his cup. It makes me feel... all warm inside. I'd gladly chop her up, her Parts are very nice, all things considered. But if she bites her lip again I want to cut it off.

Yes, Riley leaned in and poked him in the stomach. I know you like cutting up ghouls. I am simply stating that it is not a valid method of romance. Keep that in mind if you ever feel some kind of romantic affection for a ghoul. You'll want to woo her in ways she'll appreciate. Not just you. She pointed at the screen. Her, though.. you have full permission to hack her into pieces if you ever get the chance.

Christof's stomach clenched at the poke, and he glanced back up to the screen if only to try to hide his flush. There was a ghoul... I liked... but... but I don't think she liked me back. Like that. But... but it's alright. Because um. I think... I think Miss Amrita likes me like that. We went on a date and everything. Sort of. Well we would have if Chopper hadn't decided to malfunction.

Riley's eyes slid slyly to give him a side glance, as he mentioned Amrita, but her voice remained nonchalant. And do you like Amrita, like that? She asked innocently.
