Jove's tail wagged, although he might not admit it, he was always happy to meet others who were closer to his own side of the size spectrum, and this little one was even little compared to his usual form. He was reminded of Ren's little sister, and although that one was still just a tiny scareling the feeling was the same.

When Tomoko began examining him more closely, he let her do as she wished with him. A shake of the head, no growth spurt. He was still the same as always, just... spread out differently. It would be tiring to keep that shape by the end of the night maybe but-

Suddenly Tomoko said something that had his blush brightening on his cheeks. Handsome? Really? Not just cute or adorable like other ghouls had called him, but... handsome? Even his fluffy ears glowed with the mixture of pleasure and bashful embarrassment, and the wisp had to look away to gather his thoughts.

Oh man, hopefully Roch didn't look over to see him blushing so badly!

Danny smiled at Nahm playfully. "S'not me you should be worried about, it's Roch!" Little did Danny know that the grue's appetite was nearly the size of Roch's. It would be an interesting competition, that was for sure. Not that Danny cared. She was just here for the party.

On the plus side, she was getting better at talking to Nahm without blushing! That was always a good thing.

The party was a good decision as far as she was concerned. Lately she'd felt a little down, and couldn't quite figure out what was wrong. It was nice to just smile with friends like this.

Speaking of friends, Danny had some new ones to make. She turned to the boil (False) that was standing with the little group and said, "Who're you by the way?" blunt as always.

"Why don't you go get that filled?" Roch said to Chuppi before standing again. Jove's face almost made him crack up, but the sight of Tomoko looking so panicked made him look away, his shoulders shaking with amusement before he remembered something else. He crossed the room, pulling out a drawer on his desk and grabbing a few sheets of the glow in the dark stickers his dad had bought him.

He came back, holding out the stickers to Jove. "These are for you, bro!" he said with a grin. "They glow in the dark, it's awesome!"

"Oh, I'm always worried about Roch," Nahm told Danny solemnly. He ambled over to the pizza boxes and snagged a slice. In the dimness inside his hood, his face was barely visible, but anyone watching might see that his jaw opened all the way back to his ears; the slice vanished in a snap and a gulp. He then grabbed a second slice, and returned to the small group he'd been talking to, nibbling daintily at the snack.

"Is that a challenge?" he grinned, and shook False's hand when it was offered.

Sounding faintly offended, he said to Sammy, "The hell I can't, I'm a grue. We eat everything. I've never barfed in my life."

There was no music yet at this party, and that was just wrong. Nahm glanced around for Roch, saw him talking to a kitsune ghoul and an adorable puppy-boil. Heh. Excellent taste. But that meant that it was up to him to start the music up. Roch had shown him how to work the karaoke booth previously; he slipped over to turn the machine on and cue something up out of the catalog.

Taryn caught Danny's gaze and smiled, heading over to the other ghoul. At least she was being friendly. When they had first met, she hadn't really considered the demon to be friendship material... but she was Roch's best friend (Taryn's heart briefly sank) and so she couldn't be all bad. The chimera crunched her pizza and tilted her head.

"Hey, Danny! How've you been?" she asked; a bit of an inane question considering Amityville had only recently been attacked by corrupted snowpeople.

"You can peel them off the paper and stick them to stuff," Roch explained at the head tilt. "It's really cool! I thought you might like them. Er... you can explain them to him, right, Tomoko? It sounds like Nahm is getting the scareoke started."

The haunting, familiar strains of one of the harder songs on the machine hit the air and he grinned. "You know where the cotton balls are, right?" he added before racing into the room built into the corner. The door was left open, allowing anyone that wanted to go in access.

"You think you can sing that high, bro?" he asked Nahm as he grabbed another mic off the shelf.

[colo=darkorange]"You can count on it." He shook Nahm's hand firmly. "He has a habit of catching on fire too, so avoid the robes around him. He might accidentally you know. Everything." He left it vague, vague always does good. Back to Danny he grinned, "Just seemed like a proper thing to tack on to a name you know? Besides where I'm from is mostly reapers, someone like you would be thought as one as well at first glance."

Careful balance was the key and they swayed about just a bit before Shehk was properly balanced legs under each arm to keep her steady. "Can't thank you enough for that compliment. Siddie likes em too." She paused, "Actually... dark of night is great, everything has a purple tint then, makes it easier to see. Just a little light makes everything perfect... but uhhh no raves for me. Give me a splitting headache and take a bit to get used to seeing in. Light sensitive I think?" She shrugged which caused her to bounce Shehk slightly. "Makes hiding a pain though."

"Cricket and glowing go hand in hand, but it's my FEAR that makes em glow. Matches my arm wonderfully in a fight."

"Can if I have to but I'd work better on the harmony line," Nahm replied to Roch. "Snarly part I can do just fine, though." He grinned.
