i call them manga, except when talkin to my friends, who btw think im a geek for reading them, then i call it a graphic novel, so i can confuse them blaugh

at school we tell the teachers that their graphic novels, so they let us read them, but other than that, it's manga xd

I usually just say comic books if talking to the average person. If speaking to a "fan" or total otaku, then Ill say manga to avoid any huffiness on their part. And if Im at a store shopping, or talking to someone whose knowledgeable about comics, then I say graphic novel.

totally manga except to my teacher but some times i do she still lets me read em but at the library i sat graphic novel sometimes

I normally call them graphic novels unless i am specifically talking about manga not manwha or comics
