Mot waited as Hel seemed to mull things over. He was worried. Would she fight him through this whole debate?

Hel's next actions stunned the boil. He never knew she could summon up a raven. He'd heard of their importance from Hel's mother though, so it wasn't too surprising in that sense of it. The reaper turned his head toward the bird as it landed on his shoulder, gingerly taking the note from it's beak.
He also couldn't help but give the strange entity a small pet on the head.

Was it a note telling him off? Not like he'd be able to read it if it was. Maybe it really was just him that had trouble with her handwriting?

He opened it up, and his heart melted at the "message" inside. It showed on his face, as his eyes softened from the sturdy and serious mode they'd been in the last few minutes.
Mot smiled, one that reached his eyes, and looked back up toward Hel. His heart pitter pattered in his chest, a warm fuzzy feeling tickling him all over. "Good communication." He replied with a chuckle.

He neatly stashed the note in his palm, holding it with his pinky, then held out his hands, forming a heart with his fingers for Hel.

The raven seemed to appreciate the pat…one thought, but then it dissipated, since its mission was completed.

Hel was still standing in the corner, waiting, and well…it made her happy to see Mot smile. Oh Jaaaaaack, moths. Hel’s lips quirked upwards at Mot’s statement and the ghoul started to wander back over to him, especially when he made a heart using his fingers. Hel looked amused by this, stopping near the table and examining the gesture before she mimicked it with her own hands. The ghoul looked down at her gesture, and then looked a bit bemused that her heart was two-toned.

She looked it over for a moment longer before she scooted around the table and reclaimed her seat. Hel looked over at Mot then. “…Alright.” She consented with a heavy sigh, as if she was the one about to do him a big favor. “You may teach me how to write…better.”

Oh. He may, may he?

Mot stifled a laugh at Hel's arrogance. It was endearing, in a way. "Thank you." He replied, moving his chair beside Hel's. He gathered some paper and spit it between them, taking a pen as well. "We'll start with repetition. I'll write a letter on top of your page, and you write that letter over and over on that page until you reach the bottom." He said while writing an upper and lower case A on her sheet.

"I'll make more sheets, and you get to work."

Mot was sitting right next to her? Score. Mot was also writing while sitting right next to her? Double score.

Hel seemed more enthused with watching him write out the letters on every page than actually writing. After a bit though, she did grab the ‘A’ sheet and started to write down the letters, mimicking the way Mot did his ‘A’. A lot of times though, she’d stop and get distracted, watching him write.

She wasn’t being subtle about it.

Oh did he notice.

"Eyes on your own test, young miss." Mot mused playfully, his eyes still on his own writing. He wasn't sure why she was so fascinated. He assumed she was procrastinating doing her own work.

Whaaaat?” Hel complained, pulling the ‘A’ sheet closer.

“This is not a test…” She picked up where she left off, and after working at it for a bit, she slid it over to Mot. “Well?”

He sighed and continued writing.

Mot turned toward Hel as she pushed her paper forward, looking it over. "Very nice." Mot complimented, then turned it over. "Now again, by memory."

The ruthless teacher Mot would not be lenient.

Likely? They'd be at this the rest of the day.

Hel was complimented.

C :

Hel was told to do it again. Without a guide.

The valkyrie let out an exasperated sigh, and set back to work. It was going to be a loooooong day. A long and stubbornly frustrated day.
