[ Trap Zone B ]

In the end, she'd entered the Labyrinth alone. Well, not exactly alone. Even without Nico, Aki was never alone. She had Nien. The girl took a sharp turn and suddenly her entire field of vision turned black. Tensing up, she drew Nien out of his scabbard. If Nico was here, then he and Vogel could light up the corridor and that would have been that. But Nico wasn't here, Vogel wasn't here. She tightened her grip on the hilt.

"Nien..."

Did you hear that? Listen closer.

She closed her eyes and drew her focus inwards. Aki heard it then, the low rumbling. Her eyes flew open. "Is it just me...or is the room getting smaller?"

It's not just you. We need to get out of here.

Nien had a point, the rumbling sound was getting louder and she felt like the room was shrinking. Whether it was just her instinct or the truth, she didn't know. But Aki had since learned that her instinct was often right. She ran. Shoulders rubbed against the side of the room twice, and she had to adjust herself. The room was shrinking. Faster, else we will become a sandwich! She hissed and ran forward.

Running and running and running.... It felt like they had been running forever before Aki ran into something solid, but too soft to be stone.

Swift footsteps behind him, and then Marsh was caught from behind - he tensed and very nearly lashed Miyako back at his assailant, but then the voice registered, and he relaxed, breathing out all at once and leaning back against Lowe for half a moment as he tried to slow his heart rate. "Don't sneak up on me like that, dude," he said, extracting himself with an edge of reluctance, only then noticing the other Hunter standing a little ways away.

Miyako shifted uneasily and scolded him. He shouldn't let his guard down. She was right; he wasn't reacting logically, liked Lowe entirely too much. He'd think about it later. After the mission.

"Have you found anything?" he asked both of the others.

"Er, sorry." Lowe's face drained of color as he let go of Marsh, entirely forgetting that they were on duty and he'd dropped Afzal. If something where to attack now he would have been rendered entirely useless, and he hurried over and lifted his companion back onto his shoulder.

USELESS. WHEN YOU DIE I WILL RELISH THAT MOMENT.

The young sun hunter closed his eyes and pushed the thought away, preparing an answer. "No. False voice trail lead me here - I assume you were brought by the same call?" He wasn't ignoring Adam either, the man just...was standing back and waiting and now he had a companion as well.

Lowe really hoped he wouldn't have to introduce himself again.

Yet again another body bumped into her. She kept calm and lifted her gun toward the person, but her lips twisted into a scowl soon as she realized who had joined her and the other hunter. “How lovely of you to tag along,” Flair noted with mild sarcasm. The hunter chose to turn her attention away from the sun hunter and instead focused on the man with them.

“Cody from the mist division?” A pause as she rifled through her memories and managed to pull up details of a mission a couple years ago. “Oh, yes, I remember you.” Flair nodded her head. She seemed pleased to reacquaint herself with someone she had worked with before, though the darkness prevented the others from noticing. “Friends are always a pleasure, as annoying as they may seem at times.” Perhaps he could hear her smirk as she nodded her head. “Yes. Let's keep going.”

She held Glare in her hands, much like a soldier would while marching. The walls were still closing in and Flair began to run again, except this time she no longer heard the ominous rumbling sounds that signaled shifting walls. Rather, she nearly ran into a wall. She forced herself to slow down and cautiously placed a hand on the dead end. Flair cursed and spoke into her headset, Glare howling in the background.

Where the hell ---- Titania was completely lost. No matter how hard she looked, she seemed to keep coming back to the same dead end, apparent by the hissing sounds that seemed nigh omnipresent.

"Hello?" She called out. "Is anyone still here?"

Blast it, why didn't she follow one of the other hunters! The ones that don't get lost!

"Sounded like as good a track as any, with what I had to choose from," Marsh said, shaking his head ruefully, and followed Lowe back towards the others. He didn't like the way Lowe had gone pale; he peered worriedly at his friend.

"I haven't found anything but dead ends either," he said to Isaac, and huffed a sigh. Absentmindedly, he picked up Miyako's lashes again, letting them slide through his hand in a petting gesture that wasn't even conscious any more.

He was kidding right?



She snorted over the headset before...what.



Oh she was flushing now, her tan face mottled with a red blush as she sputtered in the headset.



The line went dead quiet as she heard a shout in the headsets before cringing.



She panicked again, Vee was ready to go as she charged towards the exit of the Center to the rest of the maze.

[ DEAD END ZONE A ]

The gargoyle’s howling had finally subsided, especially when the weapon grew startling silent when Flair managed to pick up a hissing sound. Her gaze flickered over to her gun, which still glowed softly. Is something wrong? He snapped back, Nothing. She quirked an eyebrow, but chose to end it at that. Sighing, she drew her hand across the wall. At least it was a bit easier to see now, although it would be nice if she could discover an exit soon. Flair’s ears picked up a voice and she answered, “I’m here.” She looked around until she managed to see the outlines of a figure nearby. The hunter chose to walk toward it and fortunately found the woman whom she presumed had spoken prior. “Were you the one who called?"
