i do. and so do my friends and family. if i go to someone elses house who i dont know if they do the shoe thing, i either ask if they would like me to take my shoes off or copy the person infront. cool

I do, even if it's my friends house I just have to, it's a habit I guess, but in the cold morning and I want to get breakfast, >< the floor's really ice cold! and I usually forget to put socks on or wear my slippers xd

I do but so do most of my friends families (when I go to their house) and they're not Asian, so I don't think it's mostly an Asian thing.

i do. it's a habit, rlly. i think it supposedly shows the family/house respect for not getting the floor dirty or something. all my family does too.
